When you step through the front door, the warm smell of baked cookies and muffins embraces your senses. The area before you is a large single room and the overall feel is like a rustic mountain cabin. Looking up are the wooden rafters lining the ceiling.
Despite the size of the room, it's really rather cozy.
(Definitely a lot of space to party hardy, though!)

On the opposing lefthand side of the room, sits the kitchen and bar area. The kitchen is fully stocked, with a multi-verse fridge (which holds anything and everything), oven, cabinets (dishes/glasses) and infinite pantry. The bar has dual sinks across from the stove and fully stocked cabinets with every liquor, beer and wine imaginable. You can sit at the bar in any one of the comfortable plush leather bar stools.
(Please drink responsibly and wash up when you are finished.)

To the right of the kitchen/bar (And directly in front of you) is a stairwell that leads to the second floor - those are the regulars' rooms, as well as the guest rooms. There are plenty of pillows and blankets for sleeping and cuddling. (Keep it PG!)

On the right of the stairwell, is a heavy oak door with scratches and chips in it. If you clasp the iron handle and open the door, you will venture into the dungeon, as well as the gate to reality. It's not recommend going down there, that is where all the Black Listed people are kept - in cages too. scream

To your immediate left is a circle of seating arrangements, including a couch, and some rocking chairs, beside a doorway. The etched sliding glass doors lead to the courtyard that holds a pool, and an elaborate flower garden. The doorway sits only three feet away from the last barstool.

The right side of the room is large living area. A massive couch faces a cobblestone fireplace. Above the mantle rests a huge full access flatscreen tv. The remote is on the coffee table in front of the couch. Several bean bags and rocking chairs circularly line the area to surround the fireplace. There are convenient side tables between each seat. Off to the side of the mantle are shelves holding consoles and their respective controllers tucked into each cubby.

For your comfort in easing into the thread, there is a smaller couch immediately behind the massive one facing the fireplace, this one however faces the center of the room, perfect for casually placing oneself without commiting to a certain area of the thread. There is also a ladder to the rafters, as well as professionally darkened corners for our loveable lurkers.

As you enter, feel free to chill anywhere you please. The kitchen is always open and there are always freshly baked cookies, hot savory ramen and ice cold rootbeer for everyone. Pretty much, you name it, we've got it. Feel free to make it yourself or ask someone if you would prefer.

Autumn Additions!
Along with baked cookies and there is a hint of pumpkin spice in the air. A bit of cinnamon. There are decorative leaves everywhere inside, clustered in garland, and amidst the pumpkins that lie around on the tables.

Outside are massive piles of soft leaves to jump into. String lights hang from the trees in the front yard as well as around the pool area in the courtyard by the kitchen.

Autumn means the fair is in town! There are games to play just beyond the front yard as well as carnival rides!

This time of year the kitchen offers hot cocoa, hot tea and fresh delicious hot ramen soup.

Life has been crazy.
Times are tough and schedules become complicated.

However I'm happy to say that we are gaining some pages because of returning regulars.
The positive energy and buzz is finally returning to our wonderful hangout, and I am absolutely over the moon about it.

It seems like time is slipping by faster and faster these days. Do y'all realize that we are approaching this thread's 9 year Anniversary? O____o

THAT'S ALMOST FRIGGIN' DECADE THAT THIS THREAD HAS BEEN HERE AND ACTIVE!!

I want to do something special for the thread, but I'm not sure. I'm thinking of holding a contest for 90k for our anniversary in November. Maybe... Or maybe 9k worth of prizes. That seems a bit more fair for everyone. Or I might buy like 50 of one item and give them out as prizes.

Dunno.

Either way, I'd like to get things jumpin' and jivin' around here. I'm going to start posting more often as my goal for this year. It is my hope that you guys will join me and get this thread back on the map and as spectacular as it once was.

Please make it your goal to post as often as possible, even if it's like once a week, or once a day. I'm going to try for at least once a day!

Another year is flying by. I'm working two jobs, have a nephew to babysit now, and most everyone is really busy with school and/or their own jobs.

With the holiday season approaching and my work schedule lightening (hopefully), we might be able to have more events going on in here. I'm hoping but then again looking at the TA. Wow it has been a long time since our last update O.o November?! Are you kidding me? Then again, it's been a long few months for a lot of us.
Because it's just about Mother's Day, if you're a mother, let me know. I'll send you a small gift. ^_^
Not much to update, I need to go through the pages and make sure all the winners received their prizes. Keep in mind the contests are on-going, so there's a winner every...how many pages? Oh just look at the contest board. Down below.
I try to keep the poll open for extra gold, but I seldom change the question. If you have an idea for a question just let me know.

Another year is passing by at lightning speed. The thread is three years old now. And the holidays are in full swing.
I appreciate everyone's participation in the thread. I love it when I stop by my thread and have to find my last post rather than look at it. -laughs- it does my heart good that everyone is having fun and having a great experience while here. It really means a lot to me. -glomps everyone-
I would like to TRY to have a Christmas Party again this year. Hopefully one of us can get online this year and keep posting...XD But I realize that Christmas and the holidays is family time. So hopefully no one gets upset when there's no one online.
Anywho, if there's any rule breaking or annoyances, let Wezlo, Dragontricx, or Android626 know because they have my cell number and can text me information. Or even with the new feature on gaia for texting, I get alerts so you could post it to my profile and I'll get the message.
Between work and school I hope I survive, but no worries.

I've decided to re-establish the RP since so many voted for it. This time I did the sensible thing and revolved it around servitude. I hope this one turns out a lot better. ^_^
But participants must post at least once a day to once a week. Any longer and you will be excluded from the action, alright?
Same rules as before, just different storyline. Oh and all RP text is to be MODIFIED. Or at least distinguished between OOC.

Well It's been a while since I implemented the RP and the thread has slowed down to a grinding halt. So I'm going to either revise the RP or take it down and we'll go back to servants. If you have questions or concerns contact Jenlinkitty.
Otherwise: it was a good run while it lasted. sweatdrop I think.
I want to have a party. Of some sort, but they never work out. I want to plan a day where we can get together and chat the day/night away. If you want to try this, please get a hold of me and tell me what day would be good. Maybe a Sunday, or Saturday. We'll plan it like a week or two, to a month ahead of time if needed. Just I'd like to have a day set aside for fun.
I understand that life is a b***h and often times it's hard to get on. Between school and work especially. But please I ask of you chat it up, if even by yourself.

It has come to my attention that the thread has been reported, for what reason I don't know. But the issue is very upsetting. I take pride in my thread, even if I am not here to maintain it. I didn't want to be a b***h about rules and stuff, but as everyone knows at this point, the rules are there to be read, and anyone who breaks them in any way will be reported. Even if you think they have been reported, just make sure, don't ignore it, and OMG, I know the thread has been slow but still.
I'm sorry, but I'm rather offended at the fact that people would think and assume that this is a dirty thread. Don't we come here to have fun, hang out, and have a good time together?
The goal for this month is to post on the thread more, and I know the regulars have a lot goin on in their lives, I can attest to that, though please make an effort to post at least once a week possibly. IF possible.

I have to stop by the college today and get discountedly used books 3nodding We only have to pay 270$ this semester for college all in thanks to grants and the education lottery money, I'm happy.

It's extremely similar to pokemon, except not...if that makes sense, and I was a pokemon junkie at some point I'll admit. No worries though, I will stop by as often as I can to make sure things are running smoothly....but killing things is so much fun lol especially when you're pissed that the college purged you from your classes when they say you haven't paid, but you have....
Oh and I'm on a neighbors slow internet at the moment b/c our bill hasn't been paid ><;;; so it's slow and it's buggin the crap outta me lol

7/25: Hey, I'm back from vacation, but I have to exercise major b/c I've gained so much weight and also my best friend is losing her dad so I might have to suddenly go out of town this week. I also have to pay tuition, so I'm busy with that as well. I've been getting PMs out the wazoo, but prolly only b/c I haven't been online in a week, though I'll get to them eventually. My back is hurting really badly at the moment so I'm gonna go walk it off while emptying out my tivo of all the shows I've missed.
7/16: I've been too busy as of late to be here, but the thread is apparently suffering a major lack of people and chatterness. For this I am saddened, but it happens, people come people go, the glory days of this thread have passed and we lived them well.
If you want to prove me wrong and bring a revolution to this thread then by all means, post! It'd bring me great joy. After this trip next week I have to find a job to help pay for college, so smile I won't be on much.
I have to leave this Wednesday for a trip and won't be back home until Sunday, and after I get my job I'll be back online more often.

I am leaving Friday (tomorrow) for Hendersonville, NC, and I think my family is staying up there until my birthday. *clears her throat* Thank you all for coming this evening.
I know you would rather be out eating cookies or drinking sweet tea, that or figuring a plan to take over the world, but I just want to express my self tonight, and have you listen at the same time.
Over the past few weeks, many religious issues have come to my attention and it has been irking me that people are being so dramatic over them.
Between my family rejecting my boyfriend's religion, forbidding me to ever truly be with him, between my friends of EXTREMELY diverse religions, and also between the recent thread loss of Zakk, I want to speak my mind on all these issues.
I'm going to be blunt and say that my take on religion is:
Believe what you want to believe, but keep it to yourself.
(This involves killing cute things and humans. stare )
You can NOT convince others to believe something they don't or don't want to believe. If you want recruits for your religion that's fine, but don't pressure someone and tell them they are wrong.
Whatever you believe is going to be right. It is just the same as one's opinion. You can not change it. And if you try to the person will become offended and will defend themselves. Yelling is involved a lot.
I believe that you should have your right to choose what religion you would like to pursue, whether it is an official one, or just your own.
And if you want my take on death:
I'm not sure. ^_^ Though I like the reincarnation bit. *shrugs* but what ever happens happens. But as far as going to paradise when you die, or even heaven, be there such a thing, just do good in life and try your hardest to help people out. And do what you can for the community, you don't have to attend a church, just help out.Side note:
I am catholic by baptism, and I attend church every week, and I am saying that people should be more lenient when "tolerating" others beliefs, lol HELL I don't believe in most of the Catholic doctrine, but going to church and helping out just makes me feel better.
Note: my best friends are: Wiccan, Atheist, Jehovah's Witness, and my boyfriend is Mormon. I cannot count how many other religions my other friends are.
**If you are catholic and wish to insult me and tell me that I am completely blasphemis to our religion, then go ahead, I don't care. ^_^**
To conclude:
*breathes* I thank you for listening. And I apologize if I offended anyone *shakes her finger* but you should be more tolerant of other's religions.

I am glad to announce that my net is up and running and our wireless is working as well, even though it isn't a secured line, I don't think our neighbors are hackers 3nodding Especially since we are pretty much the only ones in the neighborhood who have wireless. xd

So keep an eye on the title! Second. It has come to my attention, the fact that not really many people follow the rules. Now, I'm not intentionally being a**l, but I just would like people to merely avoid doing a couple things to make my thread a FUN place. 3nodding
Do realize that I could be a pain in the a** and ban: making out (which I think just about everyone would give me a glare), cages, chains, whips, and other things that aren't PG. I ask you to just bear with my slight analness and just have fun. surprised
As far as policy on the whole not saying "slave" thing. Don't go ballistic on someone if they do. I understand that this is a minor thing but just politely point it out. If there's a fuss then who ever created the fuss can just leave the thread.
And about the fighting policy: this includes degrading arguments. If you need to insult someone, do it in PMs. I want my thread to be a fun hangout not a warzone for people who can't get along with anyone else.
I'm a simple person making simple requests. Please, let's all make the thread a fun and enjoyable place for all who enter. ^_^

Plans for the fundraiser are currently being managed but if the poll is correct, then if 32 people were to donate 500g each, then there would be enough gold to start the guild. At the moment the bank is down so kind donations are having to be put on hold for the moment. I thank everyone who is helping me create this!
