History
One day Kat made a spaceship out of some aluminum and paperclips. She invited her friend, Panda to come along. Panda was a little apprehensive at first, but Kat assured her she was a genius (plus Kat needed Panda's amazing navigational skills), so abord the spaceship they went!

They traveled very far into an unknown galaxy where they came upon a planet with two giant mountains that could be seen from outer space! It looked like a giant cat head!

Landing on the planet, Kat and Panda came upon some very kind natives that looked like humans, but had ears similar to a cats along with cute stubby little tails. They told Kat and Panda they were on planet Scratch.

While on this planet, the two adventurers discovered that the Neko keep little pets called koneko! The little animals were smart and oh-so-cute that Kat asked if she could set up a trade route with planet Scratch to bring the cute pets back to Earth. The Neko agreed!

Because the trade route is so new, the Neko only gave Kat and Panda three Koneko seeds. They are in paw-shaped containers filled with some sort of life liquid. The Neko said that they mysteriously find the bottles around their planet.

Koneko seeds!
Back on Earth...

Kat and Panda are finding all sorts of interesting things about Koneko! On planet Scratch, there are gems that sometimes fall from one of its three moons. These gems are magic! When a Koneko is near a gem, it will transform into that gem's element. Kat is still in the process of dealing with the Neko to let her bring back the gems.

Meaning
The word koneko(子ネコ) actually comes from Japan. It translates to kitten and is written in kanji/katakana.

Let's pronounce!
Ko-ne-ko

Koneko Breeds
This is the first breed we have found! It is a short-haired Koneko with three strips on its head and a dot of dark fur above each eye. The stripped Koneko are very playful and love Earthlings very much. Kat even has one of her own named Bebo!
These Koneko do not like to be ignored! Because they are very active, it's a good idea to keep them happy with a toy.

How it Works
Here is an example of what your Koneko will look like. If you want a male, the default is blue, a female is pink. You can have your Koneko viewer dyed any color you like for a price. Please see the item shop for more information.

Let's break it down!
What are those numbers for?
1 The store name! ...duh!
2 This is all the information for your Koneko. This will be expanded on further down.
3 The happiness/health meter! The more hearts it has, the best! The sample is shown with the hearts maxed out. (Super happy Koneko!)
4 The items you own for your Koneko. The sample is equiped with a basket.
5 Each Koneko holder comes with a little keychain clip. The keychains contain magic jewels with elemental properties. Those can be purchased in the item shop.
6 Your Koneko!

Profile Stuff
Name The name you give your pet.
Owner You! You may use your nickname/Gaia name/or real name. (I used my real name on the sample).
Gender Did you want a male... or a female?
Age How old your Koneko is.
Trait This is affected by the keychains. The trait will reflect what element your keychain is.
Feeling This is how your Koneko is feeling. The face of your Koneko will change according to how it is feeling. In the sample, Bebo, is feeling playful so he sticks out his tongue. He's trying to bait me to play with him!!

1 Please respect everyone here and be nice. Any people caught causing trouble will be tossed into the DOOM section (blacklisted)

2 I have a life. Really, I do! I can't constantly be at the computer to create Koneko (as much as I would like to). With this in mind, please be kind to me ;0;

3 Do not harass the staff! They bite and scratch and it's scary. Plus it will also get you tossed in the DOOM section.

4 Everything here created by Kat is copyrighted. Please do not steal it. This also goes for reselling the pets.

5 Bumpers are welcome and will recieve either digital cookies or ice cream. AKA Kat's love.

6 If you do manage to get yourself in the DOOM list and are a pet owner, your pet will be taken away from you and resold here. Also, you will not be allowed to order another pet and you will get no refund for a lost pet/items.

How to Order
Step 1 Look at your gold. Do you have enough? Yes? Good! Next step!
Step 2 Send the gold on over to Kaoru13. After she gets the trade she will PM you and ask what gender you would like your Koneko to be. This trade is only for the Koneko viewer and Koneko pet!! That means I only wanna see 3,000g in my trade. Anymore will be considered a donation!!
Step 3 Reply to Kaoru13's PM with the answers to the following form:

Your Birthdate month and day
Name of Koneko
Breed
Gender[/code:1]
Step 4 Kat will PM you back with the URL to your very own Koneko!! Please be sure to direct link or else your Koneko won't grow!

Note* You may only buy Koneko items after you have purchased a Koneko viewer/Koneko.

Q Can I trade a pet from my own shop to get a pet from yours?
A It all depends on what sort of pet you are trading! Kat and I run this place so if either of us like your pet, concider yourself the new owner of a Koneko!

Q Is it okay to resell a Koneko?
A NO! Please do not resell Kat's creations! ;0; Tons of hard work was put into them and we'd appreciate it if you not resell them. (Buying one for a friend is okay.)

Q Why does it take so long for my pet to grow up?
A Hopefully this won't be too much of a problem. The spots for pet owners are limited so that should cut back on time Kat need to make all the new things for your Koneko to grow bigger!!

Q Can you change my Koneko's colors?
A The only way that might happen is if your Koneko grows older and his coloring changes. Ususally, you get what you buy. There will be new coloring/markings added later as well as rare Koneko!

Q Why is this so expensive?
A Time is money! Kat spend a lot of time to make you quality pets (that are animated mind you) for you to enjoy. It's only fair that her time and hard work is rewarded with a little gold. (Plus I have to have pretty things!)

Color Guide
These are the basic colors for Koneko items. If you don't see a color you want, simply request one and Kat will see if she can do it!
For the dying of an item with a ★ by it, it will cost 60g per dye.
For the dying of a viewing screen, it will cost 30g per dye.
