nyao! hello and welcome to the new temporary kittybomb shelter. Undoubtedly most of you remember us from our old thread run by the kittybomb creatrix, away. :3 For now, away-dono is taking a break to rest up for more kittybombs. I will be the store manager while she is gone.

why kittybombs, you may ask? though cats are nearly always impossible not to love for their cavity-inducing cuteness, endless love, and whimsical antics, they can also be four-legged walking timebombs. thus, kittybombs! i personally work at a cat and kitten shelter. since i'm an artist, why not do a little something to spread the love and earn something at the same time?

take your time and take the time to find your very own kittybomb companion to love! be sure to check out the posts below because we also have a giftshop, carrying only the finest supplies for the care of your new pet!

Hours of operation:

monday-friday: 6:00p-1:00a pacific (or Gaia) time.
weekends: variable.

Q: Oh... well... why the new thread then?
a: Because we were pretty sure that if we opened up the old thread for any reason, people would ignore the notice about the change in management and bombard away with PMs and trades. This way hopefully there will be no confusion, and when away is ready to come back, this thread will simply pass on and the old one re-open, again, to avoid confusion about changes in management.

Q: Why do you get to sell kittybombs?
a: I was a regular on the old thread, and a friend of away's. She's very overworked right now, and I offered to do the work of shop management to give her a break. Why exactly she trusted me, I don't know -- you'll have to ask her. @_@ on second thought, don't! she's on vacation!

Q: Why aren't all the kittybombs up here?
a: Right now I am offering only a limited selection of the full range of kittybomb stock that away sells. Some of the reason is to let me get used to shop management. I intend to put more items back on the register later, but for now, these are the only things you can order.

Q: Well, I remember that the old thread had such and such. Can I order it anyway?
a: Not yet. Later.

Q: When will the next unlimited be?
a: I do not yet know. Because away is on vacation, there may not be any. But we'll see. Look at the mailing list -- in the 'How to Order' section of this store -- in order to stay tuned for future developments.

Q: how do i order?

Q: will you make me a custom kittybomb?
a: If away wouldn't, I certainly won't.

Q: can i purchase past kittybombs now?
a: once again, sorry, but no. ^^; limited editions are limited editions for a reason and it wouldn't be fair to the people who got them, since the prices are a bit more than unlimited kittybombs. some past limited edition kittybombs were numbered, so they wouldn't be available anyway.

Q: what do you use for image hosting?
a: Right now I'm using my own server space. I've never hosted a project this size, and I'm not sure what my bandwidth cap is -- so when I say upload the image to your own server, I mean it.

Q: wtf is this 's.s. kittybomb' graphic i see all over the place?
a: that would belong to a small group of kittybombers: regulars here and friends of the thread. pointless, really, but invitation only, so please don't ask to 'be let in'. if you see a person with that graphic, it means they are very loved.. and they're helping me take over the world with cavity-inducing cuteness.

Q: your thread is scary and has scary people in it..
a: if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. ^^

Q: who first thought up the kittybombs?
a: Away did. Not me.

Q: may i alter the kittybomb images?
a: ohh, legal crap. you may resize the kittybombs, add words around them, names, blah blah; you may not steal, alter, or redistribute them. don't remove my name and pass them off as yours, since i'll find out and then hunt you down and gut you like a fish. :3
