A long long time ago, when the Earth was just being created, a couple of "forms" decided that they would pay a little visit. It was said that these forms were wafts of emotions and life. They were waiting for things to grow on this solemn little planet, because they had no where else to go. They roamed the barren lands, wishing to give life to anything.. But there was nothing.
This was when their true emotions showed. There was anger, loneliness, happiness, calmness, and many many more. Soon, they did not get along anymore. Constant arguing caused them to wage "war" against each other. This lasted for many years. If you were there, all you could hear was the sharp sound of emotions clashing into each other... Wails, screams, menacing laughter, sobbing... it was all there.
But one day, all the emotions crashed into each other at once. An explosion that was felt through out space. Fragments of these emotions mixed, and they rained upon the earth. A while passed, and all was silent for once. The emotions were soaked in by the planet, and were trapped forever. How do we know that these forms had an ability to allow life? Because slowly, things began to grow. The tears from the Melancholy left oceans and rivers. The rage of the Anger forced mountains up, and the gentle sounds of the Peaceful left whisps of clouds...
But... The emotions fell asleep one day. They had prepared for this though, and they left fragments of their existance in small chips of rocks. Each emotion contributed a little to a rock, but each emotion had a rock that would represent them the most. Anger embedded his in a volcano, Laughter thrust his up in a cloud, and so on... Eventually they fell fast asleep, not knowing when they would wake.
And so the little pieces of rock stayed where they were. Nature eventually contributed their own little bit, and so it is said that the rocks were "elemental". They were very fond of the peculiar little rocks, and took good care of them, never letting them get scratched or broken. This continued on for several years.
When the creator of earth saw how the emotions had come to this planet before s/he did, s/he decided to recreate the world in his/her own way. S/he sent angels to clear up the place... But they noticed the peculiar little rocks that seemed to glow when there was no light. After the world was cleared, the angels gathered the rocks and made a grand castle...! They knew something special was to come out of them, so the angels wanted them to have a lovely place to live. The angels left caring and love into the rocks, hoping that they would grow up strong. The creator though, did not like the idea, and built the world the way it is today.
The creator intended to destroy the castle and get rid of the rocks, but the angels pleaded. They made a deal to settle this, so they agreed to leave the castle, but it would be in a parallel dimension... Things went fine and the angels checked up on the rocks every once in awhile.
The rocks never showed any sign of life though... and were soon forgotten.
