I set up this thread about bots that keep on appearing everywhere, and people seemed to see these bots too. So, RadRider suggested:

It's the registration system. They don't include a spiffy "type the letter and numbers in this fun-house-mirrored image to confirm you are not a bot" thing.

So, this is a petition for one of security boxes/CAPTCHAs.[Thank you Zokita. ^^] for registration, password changings and perhaps arena comments, as bots are there quite a lot, but only perhaps temporarily until at least most are filtered out.
Please sign it to make Gaia have a security box in the registration. Basically, Letters and numbers in 'handwriting' style.

It would stop botting and you from getting annoyed at these useless space wasters.

Oh, and the trading thing doesn't really prove there's a user behind them - bots can be programmed to do just about anything, given the programmer's skill.
Now, the idea I put forth is used by many official sites. Yahoo Mail and GMail for example. To see what I mean, go to http://mail.yahoo.com and http://mail.google.com, then click on Sign Up on either site.
You will be taken to the registration page, where, if you scroll down, you will see "Word Verification" (Gmail) or "Verify Your Registration" (Yahoo). Wait a second or two, then you will see an image of letters/numbers that look like they went through a washing machine. Users must then input this "code" so that the site knows that the user is not a bot - presumably because bots cannot "read" images like they can web page text.
The "fun-house mirror" look makes sure that more advanced bots/programs designed to read simple image text can't read them correctly, in the way real people can generally read another person's handwriting.

Say if you were in the marketplace and you're doing that thing where you're waiting 'till there's 20 seconds left and bid your highest bid. And you have the word verification thing. You would run out of time! Or, if you had to pee really bad you would take longer to make that one last bid. D:
That wouldn't be good! You wouldn't get to buy stuff as fast! DD:

Anywhere else it would be overkill, it would help a lot in Arenas.
