<center>History of the Fey</center>

<img src="http://kamiki.net/afod/banners/welcome.jpg" align="left">The Fey have existed in the world for longer than anyone knows. They have lived besides the humans since their beginnings in the world. Generally, the Fey would hide in plain sight, guising themselves as humans, and lived beside them through a great deal of history. They lived throughout the world, however they had one safe-haven: a city named Alaenthieu. This city was a grand site to see. The fey did not bother to guise themselves in this city, and they were free to live their lives without having to hide their magical selves. Eventually, to hide the city from the eyes of the humans, they cast a large spell; and in one day and one night, the fey were able to sink the city into the ocean. The City of Alaenthieu faded from the human's memory. It became legend, and then myth. Even the original name eventually became changed, as humans could no longer remember what it was called in the fey tongue.

Not all the fey lived in the city of Alaenthieu, however, for the city was not big enough for all fey to live. However, a quite some time later, the fey that continued to live amoung the humans began to grow restless with their co-existence with them. Many fey were tired of guising themselves as humans, missing their own identity. Any fey that dropped their guise were often hunted and killed. The fey Beasts, who were unable to guide their appearance, were in the most danger. Dragons were being slain to impress young ladies, unicorns were harvested for their magical horns. Something had to be done.

Most of the fey began to immigrate into the Lost City (though it was never really "lost" to them). Quickly, the city was far too overcrowded to host a functioning society. Something drastic had to be done. For a hundred years, all the most powerful wizards researched a great spell. This spell, they claimed, would create a few world for them.

Many fey were skeptical of the spell, and many fled the city, returning to a life of uneasy co-existence with the humans. However, a majority of the fey were willing to give the fey a chance. The spell took over a year to complete, and all the sorcerers died in the process, however…

In a great flash of light, the entire city was pulled into the Dream Realm. Usually chaotic, but full of glamour, the Dream Realm began to take shape around the city. Before their own eyes, a land rolled out. Mountains were made, oceans were filled, rivers were forged. Finally, the fey had a land completely to themselves to call their own.

They called the land Alaenthieu, in honor of the new capitol city, and while many stayed, the others began to colonize the rest of the land. Within a couple hundred years, great cities spanned over most of the known fey world.

Pixies: Pixies are the most common of the fey races. The common cityfolk, they are colorful, friendly, and a bit mischievous. They have pointed ears, small, flightless wings, and a wild fashion sense. Base Set #1

Imps: The unselee counterparts to pixies. Colorful, tricky, little pranksters, you can find imps in the wild or in unselee cities. They generally dress is ragged or stolen clothing, and tend to keep their colorful hair cropped short. Base Set

Satyrs: Sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Extremely attractive fey, satyrs live their life for the pleasure. They love everything beautiful, and are widely loved by all the other races. Satyrs have well muscled torsos, with the legs, ears, and tail of a goat. Base Set #1 Base Set #2


Rarity Two

Eldhe- Eldhe are the royalty of the fey. Extremely beautiful, graceful, and proud. They have very long, delicate ears, pale skin, and elaborate clothing. Generally considered the most attractive of all the fey, and, at least according to them, the most pure of blood. Base Set

Merfolk- Egmatic and mysterious, the merfolk are a race of fey that have the torso of a human, but the lower body of a sleek, magical fish. They have fins on their ears, and webbed hands. They are not trusted by many fey, for unselee merfolk, or look no different than selee merfolk, will often lure people to the water's edge, only to drown them. Base Set #1 Base Set #2

Beastlings- Beastlings dwell in either the wild, or in the city. Considered the lowest-class of any of the fey, they are often stuck doing menial, dirty jobs. A mixed-blood line between a fey and a mundane animal, they usually resemble anthropromorphic creatures. Base Set Feline Base Set Bunny

Rarity Three

Centaurs- Centaurs are an ancient cross between eldhe and the greatest war-horses ever bred. Regardless of their mixed blood, centaurs are a proud people. They are wolrd-reknown for their fletching and leatherwork. Also great warriors, centaurs are often hired as mercenaries. Base Set

Nymphs- Much to the bane of the Eldhe, the actual fey race with the most pure are the Nyphms. Wild, and neither really selee or unselee, the nymphs are mysterious, powerful, seductive fey. Their favorite pasttime is seducing travellers between cities. They travel in small bands, and regardless of who impregnantes them, female Nymphs always give birth to pure-blooded nymph babies. There are three subspecies: Dryad, Gemfolk, and Riverfolk. Base Set Dryad

Silverbloods- They fey creatures, these either run wild, or are kept as exotic mounts or pets. Unicorns, Gryffons, Drakes, Manticore, Chimera.


Rarity Four

Dragonkin- A very rare, secrective race of fey. They keep to themselves in their cities and hate outsiders. Their cities are grand, much resembling the pryamids in Mexico and South America. Very few fey or humans have every encountered the dragonkin and come back to tell about it. They aren't outright violent, but are easialy insulted and extremely distrusting of anything not a dragonkin. They worship the Great Dragons. Base Set
