Nephrenia sat down across from Trinket on her bed and smiled softly at him, "Baby we need to talk."
Trinket just smiled and nodded craddling the motionless violet skegg in his lap, "Yes momma?"
Oh but how to begin such a talk, she supposed that tact was among the very best ways to do it but how does one explain to a small child that though you accept the fact that they like to wear woman's clothes, and that your friends accept that they like to wear woman's clothes and makeup, that not all people will do so... Well why not like that? Just because he is a child doesn't mean he is stupid.
She took a deep breath, "Baby, you know your new panties?"
Trinket nodded vigourously and began yet anouther round of thankyouverymuch's for said articals of clothing, but was cut of by his smiling mother.
"Well baby, you can't really discuss them with most people, you see..."
That of course set off Trinket into a round of giggles, his mommy was silly! "You don't talk about your underwear with people silly don't you know that?!"
Nephrenia shook her head, of course, "No baby what I ment is even though I accept it and my friends accept that you like to wear the clothes you do and that we have no problems with it, some people out there might have a problem with it and I just want you to be prepared sweetheart."
Trinket thought on this for a few minutes, people might not like him because of the clothes he wore? A thought struck him, "Momma, would you still love me if people knew?"
That was all it too for Nephrenia to take her beautiful baby into her arms and gather him into a hug."No sweetie nothing could make me stop loving you, nothing, do you understand?"
Trinket nodded and blinked as he felt the skegg in his lap shift and crack, "Momma I think Wraith is comming out to say hi."
Nephrenia took the skegg from Trinket and placed it on the bed of blankets on his desk that he had made to protect the fragile egg from harm, letting the boy stand into fromt of it.
Minutes passed before a tiny wing and a tinier hand found their way out of the shell, they found their eyes drawn on both individuals, cooed, and promptly fell asleep. Which to Trinket made quite a bit of sense considering the fact that crawing out of a shell must take a lot off effort!
He looked up at his Momma who had a small smile on her face and hugged her, "I'm going to wear what I want when I want I don't care if other people don't like it, as long as you are here for me."
Nothing else could have made Nephrenia happier then those words, she was going to have to take him shopping tomorrow.
