[2a] Expanding on the above rule, please avoid swearing or using derogatory language whenever possible, and never direct it towards others. If you really need to, you can just block it with asterisks, (*) 'kay?

[3] No theft of anything, including art. This should be obvious, since it's also in the TOS.

[4] Don't interpret anything I say as being dirty. =O I hate it when people do that.

K.K.'s kinda special, he'll most likely be auctioned off or obtained in a contest. If somebody already has him, please don't ask.

[4] How about the other shop owners and stuff?
Depends, some will be NPCs, some won't. ^^
For example, Brewster will not be sold, because he's somebody who, in roleplays, always needs to be there. But characters like Doctor Shrunk and Rover, who come only when they so choose, will be sold.

[5] How about Bob? He's my favorite neighbor!
As long as nobody already has that neighbor, that would be okay. =3

[6] What's an NPC?
It stands for Non Player Character. Basically, any character that is seen in every game (Including travel-related visitors, like Rover, Blanca, and Kaitlyn/Katie) is considered an NPC. The animal neighbors who move in and out of town do not count.

[7] Do you take pet trades?
Yes! I love pet trades, as long as they aren't RP required. =3

[8] Do I need to know Animal Crossing to own one, or RP?
No, not at all. (But I recommend playing it anyway. It's fun. <.< >.> )

[9] Why is the shop mule Admiral?
Because Admiral is my favorite character from the game. Pretty simple, huh? XD He's also a pet of mine.

[10] What the heck is a Gyroid?!
A Personal Gyroid Assistant stays outside your front door that can store items, repeat a said message, and save your game. Or, you can sometimes dig up Gyroids that you can place in your house. They move, make noises and look cool. XD

[11] Is there a limit to how many I can own?
No, not really, just don't buy more then two in a flatsale, okay? And not at the same time. Give some others a chance.

[12] Do they have journals?
They don't need to, but you're welcome to set one up in the guild.

[13] Do you accept items as custom payment?
n_n Sure, I really don't mind items. Store items are sellback (1/2) value, and uncommons/rares/event/donation items are lowest general marketplace price. I'd but prefer you don't pay me in, like, Jack Uniform Pants. XD

[14] Are these DS-based, GCN-based, or Wii-based?
It's your choice. n_n

[15] There are custom slots in a flatsale; how do I post the form?
Post the flatsale form with your name, the flatsale number, and the name of the custom you want to buy. You can then post the custom form whenever you want afterwards in a separate post.
I'll do the customs in the order the custom forms are posted, not the flatsale forms, so that there are no holdups. ^^

[16] Can I use bells to buy a custom slot from a flatsale?
No you may not, sorry.

General Information:

These are breedable/changing pets based of the Nintendo game, Animal Crossing. Don't know has a breedable/changing pet is? Then here is a bit of a detour. XD'

Read that? Then, good!

These are not RP-required pets, but you're welcome to do so. There are perks for RPers.

These pets generally have three stages, and vary in species. Here are the definitions of species:

Cats
Cats are a common animal. They have their own preset lineart, though they can also be purchased with custom lines.
Cats enjoy being pampered, and having their work done for them. They'd rather keep clean and enjoy life than spend time running around and doing labor.
Of course, this isn't set in stone, yours might enjoy getting their hands dirty.

Cats
Dogs are a common animal. They have their own preset lineart, though they can also be purchased with custom lines.
Dogs are active creatures who don't enjoy being cooped up. They hate to be bored, and will do most anything to keep busy, and get some attention.
Of course, this isn't set in stone, yours might like sleeping all day.

Uncommon Animals
These are mammals and birds that are not cats or dogs. They are non-aquatic. For example, a wolf or a blue jay is an uncommon animal.
Only a few of these have existing lineart, so they'll most likely be custom.

Special Animals
These are living, moving creatures that are not mammals or birds, such as fish, reptiles, and insects. For example, a salamander or spider is a special animal. These always have custom lineart.
This also includes fictional animals, like Pokemon or Gaia pets. For more information on that bit, please see the custom rules. n_n

Humans
They're what they sound like! Humans. Just.. humans. But in this town, a sane human is like a fish out of water. Just one stage, unless they're from breeding.

Special
These are plants or inanimate objects anthropomorphized, making them very special. Often times, they aren't what they seem.. For example, Geno is a star, but inside of a wooden doll. Or Mildred, who's a potato. =#

Half-breeds
What they sound like, these are half-and-half. Most commonly, it's a human and something else. In this case, it will have the ears, tail, and characteristics of their animal half, but an otherwise humanoid appearance.

If they are a cross of two animals, then they'll have characteristics of both. For example, a cat/horse might have cat ears and a tail, and hooves. These will most likely look very odd indeed.

And, here's the information on the stages. >w< Please note that, your pet might grow in more or less time than specified, depending on how busy I am.

Sack Stage
Sorta the equivalent of an egg stage, this stage has the same lineart for all species and genders.
The sack itself generally indicates the fur color/pattern, and the ribbon indicates the gender.
This stage lasts anywhere up to 7 days, depending on how active you are in this thread.

Child Stage
Congratulations! Your little bundle of joy in a bag has emerged and grown into a rambunctious child. At this point, you can now buy it clothes, etc. It's also now much easier to RP. XD
This stage can last anywhere up to a month.

Adult Stage
Hurray! Your pet is all grown up now. There's not too much to say about this stage.

What?
^Been good around the thread? Who knows. You might find your flatsale cat or dog with new, custom lineart. Your pet might get redone, with a new pose. If you RP here enough, you never know what this stage could be... n_n
The pet could even get a makeover, if so you wish. (Hair and outfit, no species changes/fur color changes/etc.)
It'll never be anything bad, of course.

Customs:

[x] You will have to watch the thread for me to open custom slots.
[x] I usually open 3 at a time.
[x] If the slots are not full and I finish a pet, another slot will open up. Say I opened 3 slots and 2 were taken. There is 1 left. If someone orders a pet before I finish the 1st, the slots are full and I will take no more, but if I finish the 1st before the 3rd slot is taken, there will be 2 slots available.
[x] Custom slots are also sometimes included in flatsales for a lower price.

Custom Rules:

[1] NPCs from the game are not allowed in customs. This can be anyone from K.K. to Pete to Farley.

[2] Already existing neighbors are quite okay, as long as they aren't already owned by anyone else.

[3] When I say human, I mean HUMAN. No zombies, vampires, angels, demons, etc. Unusual eye/hair colors are okay.
[ After letting this rule slip many, many times, I have made a Human (?) category. Pets ordered as humans MUST be pure-blooded humans now. Otherwise, it's a Human (?). ]

[4] If you're ordering a cosplay, make sure that character doesn't already exist as a cosplay.

[5] Mythical animals may be able to count, but you will have to check with me. "A fox with wings" won't work.

[6] If you are looking for an anthro of a special sort of creature, like a Pokemon, Digimon, or something like that, this is considered a special animal. I will need reference. Be careful about this, though, because some of these creatures may end up as a very abstract version in anthro- After all, how do you expect me to draw an anthro ball of gas, or a rock?

[7] This same rule about special animal applies to a sort of pet you have from Gaia. Of course, you should ask permission from the owner of the shop.

[8] Please note that if you order existing lineart, I can't change the hair, clothes, pose, etc. Only colors and patterns.

[9] I have the right to refuse your request if I think it is too hard or have something planned already for the character.

[10] Do not expect me to do back wings. I won't. =#

[11] When filling out the form, please do not leave any fields blank unless they truly do not apply, like fur color on a human. And, please, don't tell me to refer to a reference image for the eyes or face shape. What you see as a heart-shaped face I may interpret as pointy, what seem like medium-sized eyes to you might seem big to me, and so forth.

You noticed that, when bought, the pet's clothes are plain white or black, yes?
Well, here's the cure for that. ^^

If you want to simply change the color, I can do that for only 50g. =3
Just tell me the color.

Note that accessories will not look exactly as pictured on the model, since I have to redraw them to fit your pet.
In some cases, accessories cannot be seen because of the pet's outfit.
Accessories are available for both male and female pets. n_n

Earrings- Available in studs, hoop, and huge hoop.

Bell system is currently on hold.

Well, lately I've been trying to think of a good way to reward my regulars. After several weeks of ideas swimming around in my head, I came up with something- the bell system.

What is the bell system, you ask? Well, once you sign up, you'll start receiving bells weekly based off you being in the thread, and roleplaying.

Bells can be used to buy items, accessories, and customs. They cannot be used in raffles, auctions, or flatsales, because that is unfair. >w<

Prices in bells are different than their gold equivalent, and will be marked as such. n_n You cannot exchange bells for gold, or vice versa.

Bells will be kept tally in this guild thread, and updated every Saturday. (Or Sunday, if I can't get on)

There is no fee to start the bell system, just post in the guild thread. n_n

Below are the bell bonuses per week.

Marriage:

Thought I was gonna skip right ahead, didn't you? XD

Well, first, you have to get married. =O

[x]If you want to RP it out, then that's all free. =D You can have a big fancy RP wedding and I'll change the title and everything. But you'll have had to RP out the meeting and falling in love and stuff previously.

[x]If you aren't the RP type, then you can have an insta-wedding for 500 gold/1,500 bells. But if you decide to RP after this..... you'll have some 'splaining to do. XD

WE STILL AREN'T THERE YET.
I've got stuff I need to cover. XD

[x] First of all, your pet must be at adult stage, and have an RP age of at least 18 to get married. Though that should be obvious. =#
[x] You can only by married to one person. Creep. >.> XD
[x] You don't need both pets to be the same species to get married. More info about that below.
[x] You can own both pets that are getting married if you want. But then it isn't as interesting.

Breeding:
I'm gonna remind you again that this is an E-rated thread. =O

Anyway, once a couple is married, they are able to have babies. OMG babies! =O

[x] There will most always be twins. Why? Because I hate the idea of people fighting over who gets to keep it. On occasion, there might be more or less. (Triplets!)
[x] Children may either take attributes from a parent (like, a mother's red hair) or combine the same attribute of the two. (Like, if the mother's hair was red and the father's blue, then the child's hair might be purple.)
[x] Children might be the species of one parent, or a combination of the two. Like, the child of a emu and a walrus might be a emu, walrus, or or emu-walrus. Which would be really weird, but that's besides the point.
[x] The child of, say, a dog/human and a human would be a human or a dog/human, and not a human/dog/human. There wouldn't be enough dog left. =O
[x] In a rare case of a parent not being what it seems, the child would be based off what that parent really is. I'm gonna use Geno as an example, even though the chances of him getting married are slim to none. A child of his would be star-based, not doll-based.
[x] Pets from breeding have a different stage cycle- baby, child, adult. These pets take a lot longer to grow then other pets.
[x] Any one pet can only have babies every once in a long while.
[x] You're permitted to give away children as you please, but no fighting.

If your pet gets married, they get a new plate on their cert, too. =3 It says their husband/wife's name, and their child/children's name/s. n_n
This plate goes above the item/sibling name plates.

Pets from breeding have another plate, too. =3 It says the names of their parents and brother/sister/siblings. This goes above the item plates.

Interested in RPing? You've come to the right place! As I've said, these pets aren't RP required, but you can if you want, of course! I'm almost always up to RP, if you don't mind a slow one.

Anyway, here's a few guidelines and help:

[1] RPing is done here in the thread, mostly, but you can also roleplay in the guild if you wish.

[2] You can use whichever style you want. You can either use story form
(Example: She smiled, standing back up. "Whatever you say.")
or non-story form,
(Example: ::smiles and stands back up:: Whatever you say. )
in past or present tense. However, past-tense story form is the standard.

[3] Font colors are not only great, but recommended. They make it easier to tell who it is, especially if you're roleplaying more than one pet. Just try to make sure it's not too light. (Like, no cyan, yellow or white...)

[4] Lurker RP is welcome. It's fine to roleplay other characters or pets if you have none from here, as long as they aren't from Animal Crossing. You can't play them as residents of the town, though.

RP Rules:

[1] Again, Gaia TOS. XD

[2] This should go without saying, but no killing other people's pets. It's mean. >=O I'd really prefer it if you don't kill of your own pets, either. I don't have anything against a bit of angst, but, seriously.

[3] Similar to the above rule, you may not cause permanent damage to somebody else's character without their prior consent. This generally can be avoided with a post that leaves something open-ended. (Like, say you throw something across the room, but don't assume it hits and leave it up to whomever you were throwing it at. )

[4] Here's a rule I picked up from Furcadia years ago--if somebody does something you don't like, you can pretend it didn't happen. You cannot use this to ignore every little thing that bothers you and make it go your way, but if, for example, if you were just having a pleasant conversation and a ninja suddenly falls from the sky and hold a knife to your throat, then yeah, that would be a good time for this rule. XD
But, if somebody asks you a question that you don't really want to answer, or they poke you, or something minor like that, then you should be able to deal with it.

[5] No unnecessary violence. I don't mind an occasional fight, but you don't need to attack people every other roleplay. XD

[6] Please don't excessively describe gore. T-T I don't mind a blood reference, but if you describe a wound in detail it makes Glace faint in the corner of the room. XD

[7] I would still prefer it if you didn't use foul language. If worst comes to worst, just use asterisks (*) the cover the word.

[8] Keep in mind your surroundings. If you're in the forest, then you can't randomly stumble upon a coconut tree, or hide in a barn.

[9] For the love of Nook, don't use cyan, yellow, or white as a font color. It makes my eyes burn. T-T Plus, people with lighter monitors can't read your posts at all.

[10] In the case of cosplays/special animals, characters are allowed to have minor powers without my consent, but please use them responsibly. If your character has stronger powers or you just aren't sure, please ask me first.
