As everyone here knows, having a thread of yours moved to the CHATTERBOX is like a slap in the face. The more I think about it, the more I'd prefer a straight-forward slap in the face. I posted the following in the Fashion and Style subforum: Quote: I'm an aspiring fashion designer. I love every aspect of fashion; design, photography, modeling, make-up/hair... I'm in a community college, taking care of my general education, and I've researched fashion design colleges near me. The entry tests are TOUGH. Right now I know next to nothing except my own tastes. How am I solving this? The Report. The Report will be a collection of short essays on every fashion designer I can get information on. I'll collect pictures and compare aesthetics, and compile it all into The Report. I may extend it to include photographers, models, and stylists who heavily influenced the fashion world. This is what most of my free time is devoted to. So I was wondering, does this interest anyone else? Would anyone read/appreciate it if I posted these things in my journal? Any advice or other things I should include? Who do you think contributed/contributes most to the fashion world? Any opinions are greatly appreciated!!! It got moved to the Chatterbox because I made reference to my journal. I replied back to the mod who moved me, asking if I could have my topic moved back, seeing as the point of it was to ask people who they think contributed most to the fashion world. I even said I'd take out the journal thing, which I didn't even think of doing until I wrote the post. The Report was just going to be a personal project, but at the last minute I thought people would like me to share it. See what I get for being thoughtful, IT SHALL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. She has yet to get back to me. Yet the ED is overrun by people who deserve to be smacked. I know about a dozen people who have posted porn and yet aren't banned yet. Why do mods insist on concentrating on people who aren't doing anything wrong, but let trolls dance about day and night? Let noobs get away without READING things that say, in all capitals, "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING"? I'm going to stab something fluffy.

I tried to bump my topic, just to see if I could get anything. I'd look for my topic AS SOON as I bumped it. I'd find it on page 6. I officially give up.

Wow...that really sucks. ED has truely fallen apart. I was in there about a week ago and there was this long topic about whether one liked horses or not... Aren't they supposed to be getting new mods soon?

I don't know about new ED mods, but they certainly have enough elsewhere. My thread was moved within literally a minute.
But the ED.... It depresses me. I'm in there for about an hour, and I have to turn off the computer and read something. I tell myself I'm done, but hte next day I'm in there again, trying. Isn't that the sign of insanity or something? When you do the same thing over and over, expecting different results?
Now the Chatterbox, on the other hand, just plain scares me. There are thousand-post long threads that are basically cybering roleplay for little preteens...
(Now that I've calmed down I feel bad for ranting... crying )

I was about to go in and make a rant about Deoridhe. I've been talking to some of my other friends, apparently I'm not the only one who has problems with their judgement.
All of the mods are insane. They're all power-hungry. They're all "OMG LUK @ ME I HAV DER POWERZ IMMA GUNNA BAN JOOO!!!11!1!!@1"
Seriously. They're like that. All of them.

The Tragic Mime I was about to go in and make a rant about Deoridhe. I've been talking to some of my other friends, apparently I'm not the only one who has problems with their judgement. All of the mods are insane. They're all power-hungry. They're all "OMG LUK @ ME I HAV DER POWERZ IMMA GUNNA BAN JOOO!!!11!1!!@1" Seriously. They're like that. All of them. Isn't abuse of reporting like abuse of power? It should still lead to a ban. Lanzer and them need to pay more attention to these things than a stupid convention tour.

I think partly the reason I was banned was because of how many reports I've recieved. I dont think people get it: I'm not abusive, they're all just pussies and need to get over the fact that I'm sarcastic by nature, not sarcastic because I'm flaming.

Go ahead and eat them. Assertion: The entire staff hates us (the ED). Evidence: this thread's subject, the number of trolls in ed, any and all threads moved to the chatterbox for ridiculous reasons, or slightly less ridiculous albeit still obviously incorrect reasons (I tried "abortion debate, no religion" and it was moved as a duplicate of the 6000 page one that allowed religious argument), oh, and this is on the front page.  Do they think it's funny? Are they not trying to be subtle about their disdain for us? plug
