Well Tokyopop had a contest to see which guy had the most appeal in shoujo manga, and Saiyuki won (undoubtedly ~_^) and Sanzo, the swearing, murdering, gun toting priest seemed to sweep away all the voters. Better luck next time, Kappa. The women have spoken.
Tokyopop Contest
Though I really wouldn't consider Saiyuki Shoujo. Definitely Shounen...but I guess there's a bit of everything in the series.

I was checking almost every day when Gojyo and Sanzo were going against each other in round 2 xd . That was so fun!
And now that Sanzo has won...

Ryoko-chan I was checking almost every day when Gojyo and Sanzo were going against each other in round 2 xd . That was so fun!

I know. It's so sad that Saiyuki is being shoved aside by newer, less literary and artistic worthy, manga. T-T It pains me so....

But yeah, some manga coming out today... I just don't know anymore *shakes head*. Some of the art value and plot values are going down in general... but Saiyuki continues to uphold both heart .
At least in the manga, anyway, can't say that much for the anime gonk .

In Greg's newest MySpace picture, he has his hair shaved short D=! But it looks cool still, because it's Greg. Lemee find it...  There we go xd ! Aww, but I miss them all too. I know Greg would jump at the chance to do Goku again, and since Geneon fell out, if ADV picks it up again... we could get the old VAs back! Though I still don't like the Reload and Gunlock anime on a general scale. Like Angel-Of-Alchemy: Manga please! NO!!!! My Monkey buddy's fluffly colorful hair is all gone!!! gonk How depressing!!!

If ADV would just pick it up again...Greg would happily play Goku again. :p However, I don't think David does anime anymore. O-o I'm not sure. So, Sanzo-san might have a different voice actor even if it did get taken back up by them. Which makes me sad. XD
