Okay guys. This is the obligatory "what are you thankful for" thread.
While I do think about being thankful, I haven't been thinking about it much this week. Yesterday, one of the other leaders in the youth group I work with called me, and asked me if I was on the same page as her as far as thankfulness went.
She told me that the thing she is always most thankful for is her relationship with God, and the story that comes out of that relationship and her walk so far. She wanted us to all share our testimonies with our small groups and then have a discussion about what we are thankful for.
So---what are you thankful for?
Here's my short list for right now:
1. it's almost the end of the quarter
2. I am almost done with homework for this quarter.
3. I am well fed, in good health, and (speaking worldly) extremely wealthy.
4. I have Jesus. YAY!
5. um.........everything else?
6. good friends, even when they are far away.
7. dogsitting means cash! yay dogsitting!
etc.
What are you guys thankful for?
Also: holiday foods, traditions, etc.....good times.
Let's turn this into a piece of holiday cheer on gaia...

5. being able to live comfortably.
6. life.
7. the number seven!
i make the pumpkin pie every year, and i'm slowly getting better at it. i made one for my sister though and it came out terrible. D:
also! Cold Stone has these pies right now that have the pumpkin pie ice cream in it with chocolate leaves and whipped cream on it. don't be fooled! they're actually not as good as real pumpkin pie.

I'm thankful that I am a Customer of Verizon and Qwest, and don't have to deal with the crap that the other Telecoms are putting their Customers through.
I'm also thankful for My Wife, and that we're finally putting new tires on our Camry. And I'm thankful we're driving said Camry, instead of throwing hundreds of dollars a month in repairs into it(unlike my last car around this time of year).

Se Ga Takai I'm thankful that I am a Customer of Verizon and Qwest, and don't have to deal with the crap that the other Telecoms are putting their Customers through. Another recent event is AT&T adding something into the Contract where if a Customer complains about their service and AT&T finds out about it, that Customers Service is suspended.
