Captain: Sajin Komamura
Details: Having been Captain for less than one-hundred years, one still cannot deny the power and respect that has been garnered by Sajin Komamura. Shamed by his fox-like appearance for years before his joining the Protection Squads, he was once saved by the Captain-Commander, and has since sworn to serve him as a member of the Protection Squads in payment of that debt. And being the honor-bound type, that is a debt he will serve to pay until the death.

Vice-Captain: Tetsuzaemon Iba
Details: Once a part of Squad 11 under Captain Zaraki, Tetsuzaemon Iba transfered out into Squad 7 in order to ascend to the rank of Vice-Captain despite the feeling of betrayal amongst the 11th Squad at his defection. Having trained himself to become more well-rounded in order to fit in, Iba is a surprisingly competent fighter in many facets of the game, and still maintains a somewhat amiable relationship with his former comrades in Squad 11. It is sometimes guessed that his hunger for promotion has something to do with his mother...
