A forest sits in the middle of a large crater. This is where Cain has been spending his life lately, and it is where his home is, a small cottage in a meadow in the middle of the forest. The crater was made by a meteor falling, but life grew out of chaos, and it is now a beautiful forest that is said to shine silver whenever there is a full moon.

There was slight rustle through the bushes near Cain... The rustling continued for a couple of more minutes...and then it stopped. What could that be...?

A bit of giggling came from the bushes again... From the shadows, a figure of a woman began to form and slip out... The woman wore mostly blacks, a bit of purple and red hues. Her hair was tied back into a ponytail twist with spiky ends. What made her stand out the most was her light armor that gave off a dark aura-- though nothing evil or sinister. She crept behind Cain and loomed over him, a bright smile on her face.

The dark warrioress smiled and winked at her ex-tutor, "In the flesh...And armor still, heheh."

Cain would notice that the armor's enchantments have dwindled in power despite still radiating the ominous aura, and Ai seems much more stable, happier than when she was controlled by the armor.

She dropped beside him, her smile never fading, "That makes two of us... It's been a while, hasn't it...?" Far too long...At least a good 3-4 years since Cain has seen Ai. To demonstrate the end of her ordeal all those years ago, she removed her armor, dropping it to her sides until she only wore a black body suit, similar to a rogue's. "The armor doesn't control me anymore..."

Ai's dark cheeks turned from a pale rose to a slight red as his hand made contact, "I had a feeling this was your new dwelling...It's peaceful. I haven't seen 'home' for a while myself..." She grinned softly, shrugging off the thought.

Kicking her chest piece a bit and smirking, Ai nodded at Cain, "It was difficult...That succubus was finally destroyed." Or at least she thought she was...Demons have a tendency to return from their planes for revenge, right?

Not used to the attention, the warrioress blushed a tad more and smiled sheepishly, "W-well, it gets pretty tiring after a while...! I can't wear this damn set all the time!" As awkward as Ai felt, she secretly enjoyed the attention. It's been far too long since she had seen Cain's smile...She missed it as much as she missed him.

Ai nodded her head a bit, "Now I do... I don't have anywhere else to call home. But I'd be more than happy to stay here and live with you." Home...There was never a place for Ai to call home. Her life was subjected to wander the lands, never staying in one place. But Cain made it all the more tempting to finally settle down.

Ai looked flustered...Their faces nearly made contact-- especially their lips... But the two were far too shy to do anything about it. The ex-captain lowered her head a bit bashfully, muttering something about how she can barely keep herself from acting so anxious and odd around Cain. "I'm...glad to be back as well... I've looked for you all over! For four years... After so much searching and traveling, I had finally picked up your trail and followed you as closely as I could..."

Ai grinned softly at her companion, nodding her head a bit again, "You are...At least, to me. You did so much for me, Cain...! I wanted to find you again..."

Upon hearing how much she had been missed, Ai pursed her lips, kneading her brows in worry, "I don't remember much from four years ago...Just some faces and you... During the time I was gone, I had came across another traveler from a different plane...He too, was of the wolf tribe. He...helped me destroy Nevan. But...after that, he returned to his world. I promised myself to search for you, no matter how long it took."

She closed her eyes, concentrating only on Cain's gentle touch and sighing softly... "I was watching you for a couple of weeks after I found you...I wasn't sure how I was going to reintroduce myself to you...But I realized that didn't matter, and...Well, that explains why I wasn't as dramatic or simple with my appearance, heheh." Ai never liked pure subtlety or too much pizazz. She liked being unpredictable.

Ai was half tempted to sneak in a kiss as his lips brushed against hers, but she held back for now...The sensation alone was sweet and nostalgic to her. But when Cain turned away and mentioned his scenario, she merely smirked coyly, "Mmm... Maaaaaybe... Don't worry, I gave you enough privacy..." She couldn't help but snicker playfully at Cain, enjoying the rather priceless and adorable look on his face.

Her hand lightly grasped his tunic, gently tugging him a bit closer to her. "Is it really that surprising...? I could of sneaked up behind you while you were bathing, you know. That would of made things a lot more ummm...Interesting, to say the least!" It was nice to see that Ai still carried a sense of humor (both a bit questionable and light) despite the ordeals she had gone through.
