Shouldn't there be a sub-forum for fellowship and another sub-forum for biblical discussion? I dunno, I think it would be a good idea. I can help donate if the club is out of funds. Then, the main forum could be reserved for prayer requests and whatnot.

Well, we have a thread for just plain socializing already (the Social Hall), and a thread for prayer requests (a sticky, in fact). Certainly, we could take one of our sub-forums and make that purely Biblical discussions. Xi's already got a handful of subforums bought; they're just not currently named (except the Old Stuff and the Crew Office, of course).
Personally, I'd not want to, because to me ... well, if we did, we'd pretty much clear out the main forum entirely. And what's going to define "Biblical" versus your own "What do you do ... " thread? Both involve Bible quotes and comments. Even the "Christian Movie" thread has done so once or twice.
We're Christians; everything we talk about is going to involve the Bible at some point. And frankly ... I feel you and I are slowly getting to know one another fairly well, might even be friends in a few months, but ... we did it here, in the "discussion" threads, not in the Social Hall.
Now, if we knew threads were ended, closed, like the Old Stuff subforum, I'd have no qualms about trying to organize them as you suggest. We know the information in them wouldn't change, so we could easily decide what's what.
That's just my feelings. Obviously, the final decision goes to Xi, and I'll go along with whatever he decides.

We've done that before, having discussion and study in different subforums. Maybe something else as well.
Ultimately, some of the others, including Bait I believe, suggested they just go to the main forum since most wouldn't think to look into subforums.
Not to mention the fact that a lot of those same people would just make new topics in the main forum anyway.

Sorry, I guess I didn't really make myself clear. ><
Personally, I just thought it would be easier if we separated the serious from the non-serious. Like, sometimes I'm tempted to start a completley whimsical thread just for the sake of getting to know some of you better, but then I think that it would make the guild seem not-so-serious.
It's not that I think biblical discussions should be separated from advice threads, and so on and so forth.
And where is this "Social Hall" that you speak of? I only saw the main forum, "old stuff" and "crew office".

Feel free to make a non-serious thread, long as it's more than just a single emoticon...or a few..
