Details: Formerly a servant and guard to ex-Captain Yoruichi Shihoun of the 2nd Squad and the Special Forces, Soi-Fong was hurt deeply by her sudden exile from Soul Society and viewed it as a betrayal. Vowing then to surpass her former master, Soi-Fong has since risen to the rank of Squad 2 Captain and Head of the Special Forces. Fast, deadly, and wielding one of the most vicious Zanpaktou in all Soul Society, she is a no-nonsense killer who will take out anybody in her path.

Vice-Captain: Marechiyo Oomaeda

Details: Mostly assumed to have received his position as Vice-Captain of Squad 2 due to his family's high rank, Marechiyo Oomaeda has surprising skills for a man of his unimpressive physical and mental stature. Seemingly arrogant and dumb, he is actually not as ignorant as he seems, and has shown flashes of loyalty to his Captain in the more dire of situations. He can almost always be seen eating crackers, much to his Captain's chagrin.
