I recently was in a great debt and I felt like no one, not family, friends, or even God was with me. Then I really felt that God was wanting me to read his book and especially Job and he laid this on to my heart. I finished Job in a weekend and I came out with a lot of book marks so I can reference things later but these verses really stood out to me and the time I was in.
This is really how I felt in my life at the time.
Job 7:20
If I sin, what do I do to you, you watcher of mankind? Why have you made me your Mark? Why have I become a burden to you?
Then a little verses later I came across this which I think is an answer to the question that Job asked.
Job 8:5
If you will seek God and plead with the Almighty for mercy, if you are pure and upright, surely then he will rouse himself for you and restore your rightful habitation. And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.
And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great. Even though you can be going through a really bad day or a time in your life that does not mean that it is over. Because even if your younger days were small your latter days will be great and so God is saying "life is tough now, but latter on your life will be really good."
