Regulars are the standard type of E-mice, bred down frm the Demonics to be more domesticated and less tempermental and wild. The regulars are the most common variety of E-mice found and likely the ones you'll see here the most - and available. As a general rule they're more even-tempered and less prone to problems then the demonics, but occasionalyl some are just as bad as the demonics. They come in a wide variety of colors, and the males are a little larger then the females.



Demonics are the original breed of E-mice, sometimes called wilds - they were what was domesticated by the people on Tachytron and bred down into the calmer regulars. many of these still remained - in and out fo captivity, but their presence was still rarer compared to the regulars - a ratio of roughly 3 regulars to 1 demonic. They are called demonic because of their appearance and darker temperments but there is nothign directly linking them to demons and such things - it's simply a descriptor and nothing more. Occasionally there are more even-tempered demonics, but this is very rare. Dmeonic females are a litle larger then the males.



E-mice start out in 'eggs' that house their energies [soul] - these resemble computer mice that we all know and love. You're advised not to treat it like a regular mouse though, as that would hurt the poor thing. E-mice are aware in this state and can feel thigns which come into contact with them - although they cnnot communicate really aside a few light squeaks and blips. These noises are very faint at this point, but they DO adore being stroked and petted at this point. Happy E-mice are a good thing before they reach their next stage. E-mice without assistants [and names] do not go onto the next stage - they require the assistants to help them reach the next stages, and without a name they cannot truly develop a sense of self enough to pass onto the next stage. They remain like this for approximately 1 week after recieving their assistant.

Once they are children, they can begin to learn to communicate in a spoken language aside their assorted beeping, clicking, and squeaking noises. The assistant helps them along with this as well, helping them to learn the things they need to know - all assistants know all the basic thigns, and sometimes a bit more. An E-Mouse without an assistant is a very lost soul - and should aquire a new assistant as fast as possible! In the wild, they would naturally pair up - o that's how things are here. We're not messing with nature. Children are curious, thirsty for knowledge, and often playful. This is an important part of their life cycle as much of their adult life is influenced by their childhood. [Much like people!] They remain children for about 2 weeks time before they grow into adults, unless a special chip is implanted into them to prevent physical development into adulthood.

Once adults, E-mice are capable of storing energies required for breeding through the markings on their bodies - on the arms and legs and spine of males, and the thigh and spine of females, and also allow them to recouperate energies a few times. Past those few times, without a lifemate, they will be unable to store any more energy then is necessary to survive. Adults are capable of taking care of themselves completely, although they will still rely on advice and company of their assistants - close friends as they are. Adults are capable fo flight, while children are not - it is at this point they are able to flutter and fan, and their wings alos assist in the collection of energies. Below si the rough size scale fo E-mcie as they develop:

Regular [male/female]:
Egg: 5-6" long || Child: 1-1.5' tall || Adult: 2-3' tall on hind legs.

Demonic [male/female]:
Egg: 6-7" long || Child: 1-1.75' tall || Adult: 2.5-4' tall on hind legs.



E-mice survive on a diet of energy - typically electricity of some sort, and solar energy - and metals. They can absorb the electrical energies out fo thigns, so do be careful about them being near wires when hungry or something may shut off from a lack of current! They do not need to break through to absorb the energy, so long as the casing is metallic or plastic in nature - they cannot get energy through wood, or fibers. They can however, through crystal, and occasionally we use energy crystals for feeding when we've ahd some really bad storms kill the power. Thank you to Moonchilde for having those... As a note, they will not aborb magical enery - it is on the wrong frequency to be used within themsleves, and thus, not absorbed. While a well-trained mice under the care of someone will not attempt to chew on power cords, etc. to get nourishment, if seriously hungry they will - and some demonics may for spite and trouble.



E-mice are pefectly capable fo ebing able to get wet with no problems whatsoever, although they are advised to be careful in eletrical storms as the force of the energy would liekly system shock them death if they were struck by lightning. Thankfully Moonchilde has assured us that they are not walking lightning rods, and carry the same approximate odds as people - still, don't el them rove outdoors in bad storms. E-mice do not bleed, and will regenerate, being a techno-bioform.

E-mice do not require being opposite genders to breed or mate - there is nothing sexual or copulation required of their ability to reproduce, so do not be alarmed if your mice of th same gener happen to be flirting with one another. The genders really differentiate their tasks per type - the smaller sized e-mice [male demonic, female regular] tend to be more then homemaker types who care for the children and nest, while the larger ones [female demonic, male regular] tend to be the gatherers and protectors. Also, there has been observed that the 'genders' do tend to also mimic traits of genders between people in behavior.
