I am The Native Gal. I joined Gaia Online in really late '04. I had been cosplaying Mamimi Samejima from FLCL for quite some time, and while I was a newbie, my major gold-raising pursuits went towards this goal. However, recently, I had been venturing out and experimenting with new looks for my avatar.

The Penguin Slippers were an item that for the most part I had been ambivalent towards. When I was having a conversation with my friend that introduced me to Gaia, she asked me if there were any items I wanted. I thought the Pengs were so cute, but at the time, I thought 30K was an astronomical sum of gold. Now, I am infused with vigor to quest for these lovely Pengs before inflation pummels them out of my grasp for good.

I will be raising gold for this purpose largely through the way I normally raise gold: through polls and posting. Donations are very much appreciated. Hopefully, in the future, when I am satisfied with my drawing style, I will also be drawing avatar art, with the funds going toward this quest.
