Story:

Cosmic era 73, two years after the great war between Coordinators and Naturals. The war is now over and the Earth and Plants are at peace…relatively anyways. Cagalli, now the leader of Orb and Athrun Zala, visited Chairman Durandal at a ZAFT base to talk about some negotiations that hadn’t been answered. While Cagalli was getting a tour of the base by the Chairman, three new mobile suits were stolen by unidentified Earth Alliance Members and they began destroying the base. Cagalli and Athrun managed to escape but the three pilots of the stolen Gundams managed to escape with their prizes. Junius 7 later crashed into Earth, destroying many cities. The Earth Alliance blamed ZAFT for the falling of the destroyed Plant, even though they had nothing to do with it. Earth declared war on ZAFT once again.

Now both sides are gearing up for war and Orb is still deciding which side to join. Meanwhile, Kira, Lacus, Murrue, and Andrew launched in the Archangel again after being hidden on an Orb island for awhile, now ready to enter the newly started war. That’s where our story begins. Will the Naturals succeed in destroying the Coordinators or will ZAFT succeed in beating the Naturals into submission?

Bio: The older half-sister of Shinn by five months, Avery has the same father as Shinn but a different mother. Their father had a prearranged marriage with Shinn’s mother but at the same time loved his ex-girlfriend who he was having an affair with. After finding out she was pregnant, Avery’s mother moved to the Plants, telling Avery’s father she didn’t want to get in the way of his marriage. Shortly after the wedding, their father had confessed to Shin’s mother about Avery. She understood, as she too had loved someone else but to please their families they agreed to marry and eventually were very happy with their decision. At the age of six, Avery began going to Earth to visit her father and half-sibling. On her trips there, Avery became really close to Shinn. When her father, Shin’s mother and sister were killed, Avery had recently gone back to the Plants to continue her studies, graduating at the top of her class. Later, on her way to see Shinn on Earth with her mother, not too long after their father had been killed, the area they were in was attacked. Avery had gotten separated from her mother in the panic. She had been knocked out by a nearby explosion, waking up with many deep cuts from flying debris and was shocked to find everyone around dead or close to it. When Avery had found her mother, she was near death. A ZAFT soldier later found her unconscious on the street. Soon after she was rescued, she joined ZAFT, finding out that Shinn had also joined and managed to meet up with him.
Her only family left is Shinn. Avery is stubborn and a tad overconfident which sometimes gets her into trouble. She often refuses to follow orders she doesn’t like and usually refuses to kill anyone in battle unless there is no other choice. Like Kira, most of the time she renders her opponents Gundam useless. Avery is great at hand to hand combat as well as with a gun and hardly ever misses her target.

Bio: Aven joined Zaft only recently, with him being a coordinator and all, he had to do something during the war. He is a quiet individual who loves to work with parts and machines. Some might say that he has an affinity to more complicated devices but no one can say he doesn't know how to run them properly. He built Hazel, his mobile suit. It was built from parts of one of his father's machines that were left behind and when he joined Zaft, it was upgraded considerably due to the all of the new parts he had available to him and some other mechanics to help him build onto it. When piloting his Gundam, he reveals more of his wild personality and can be a bit out of control on the field. While his skill is impressive, he pushes his suit to its limits. He is merciless in battle and is often used as a defensive fighter, deployed after any strike teams. Aven is multitalented, and besides being a valuable pilot, and mechanic, he sees use being a member of ship crews as well. Although he only recently joined ZAFT, he has taken a corporal ranking quite quickly. Personality wise, he is a little cocky and belittles other mechanics in their work but he is very willing to take advice from other pilots and crewmates.

This is one of many difficult situations Cagalli is placed in as she has to struggle with her father Uzumi's legacy, her own coming of age, and her own goals and desires.

Gundam: XXXG-02-D2 Deathscythe Hell and "Vidofnir" beam scythe
Bio: Sephen grew up an orphan in the colony of ORB, stealing and decieving to survive. He was taken in by an underground group of ex-Mobile Suit pilots and other orphans known as the Sweeper Group. The Sweeper's leader was killed when the war started again, but not before he could teach Sephen everything he knew about piloting. In secret, the Sweeper Group was developing a powerful stealth Gundam, but it was incomplete when Duo, the previous leader, died. Sephen finished the Deathscythe and now fights against the Earth Federation and ZAFT, whom he holds a deep grudge against.

Bio: Azure is Sephen's brother and second-in-command of the Sweeper Group. He's also the head mechanic and a wiz with mobile-suits. Azure has an uncanny ability to spot the precise weak-points of an enemy mobile-suit and analyze the structural make-up as well, thus making him virtually impossible to beat at close-combat. He is fiercely loyal to his older brother and tends to be rash and quite reckless when he's in danger.

Other: Azure earned the name the Angel of Blades both from his Gundam's appearance, and the fact that he almost exclusively uses beamsabers and swords in combat. Because his accuracy with long-range weapons is absolutely deporable, the only gun he has besides the vulcans is his mega-particle buster-cannon which doesn't really need any accuracy to wield. But because it is so incredibly powerful, it has only three "shells" that must be changed out after use. One shell is enough to destroy several mobile suits or a battleship, but if all three shells are charged and fired at once, it could destroy an entire colony, however this will most likely result in serious damage to the unit.

Bio: Cousin to the "Wolf of Orb" Kyota Ashari, Damien holds very different ideals than his cousin. He's a hardline captain who demands the utmost perfection from his crew, and hates ZAFT and Orb with a passion that he can't even begin to explain. Dedicating his life to wiping out the two groups he joined the Earth Alliance, where his skill and ruthelessness allowed him to rise through the ranks with startling speed, he was quickly placed in charge of the GAT-X131E Enhanced Calamity, a redone version of the older Calamity Gundam. Sporting a nuclear reactor as opposed to the old Calamity which sported a battery as its power source, Damien's Calamity also has several other upgrades. Sporting a beam axe that's extremely similiar to the one carried by the ZGMF-1001K Slash Zaku Phantom and a beam saber stored in its legs, the Ehanced Calamity is perfectly capable of handling close-range combat as well as more than capable of long range combat. Currently Damien is waiting for a reason to tear into Orb or ZAFT for any reason, and is stationed on the Earth Forces' Lunar Base.

Bio: An old friend of Cagali's, Kyota was one of Orb's first "Ace" pilots. Starting with a simple MBF-M1 Astray he rose through the ranks due mostly to his sense of combat tactics and excellent piloting skills (he was often frustrated with his Astray's maneuverability limitations). In combat he tends to use his maneuverability to evade enemy attacks and frustrate them before launching his own offensive. On the battle field he tends to try to rally his nearby allies as he believes that no single unit can possibly turn the tide of battle through skills alone: it takes the entire army to win the fight. He doesn't specialize in a specific combat style, however, and while his skills in close and far range combat are better than an average pilot his evasions and combat tactics are what have set him apart from the rest of Orb's "rank-and-file" soldiers.

Living through the events of the first Bloody Valentine war he's since become accustom to killing only when the enemy won't retreat or surrender. Abiding to a strict, but personal, code of conduct Kyota will almost never attack a retreating enemy unless he feels they're too dangerous to allow to live, something that is extremely rare. He defends Orb, it's ideals, and his own personal beliefs with a ferocity few pilots can counter. Kyota respects many of his fellow pilots, particularly those like Andrew Waltfield who have joined Orb from other factions (EA and ZAFT), and while some pilots may not consider them "true pilots of Orb" and avoid them to some degree he makes a point of getting to know them and trying to make them feel welcomed. Although he holds great respect for Kira Yamato and the Archangel's crew he sometimes finds their unwillingness to kill those attacking them somewhat annoying, though if he were ever to fight alongside them he'd try his best to follow their example.

In the years since the first Bloody Valentine war Kyota rose to a relatively prominent position in Orb's military. His piloting skills have earned him the right to pilot the Strike E, a redone version of the Strike. Although he has yet to be put in charge of his own ship he has been put in charge of a group of 5 Murasame which has begun to make a small name for itself on the battlefield. Although his Alias is "The Wolf of Orb" the members of his unit jokingly call him "Commander Sunshine" due to his yellow Strike E and flight suit. Also, at the final battle of the Bloody Valentine war he befriend ZAFT Ace pilot Yzak Joule and former, and now once again, ZAFT Ace pilot Dearka Elsman, though he hasn't been able to talk to them in quite awhile. He also developed a friendly rivalry with Mu La Flaga after the Archangel joined Orb during the first war and was devastated at the news of his "death".
