Back when I started playing Gaia on May 27, I liked the Angel Minis. I knew they were something rare, but I had no idea how much. For a while I just coasted, buying up what looked good without worrying too much about donation item status... and then, it hits me that the dang things won't buy themselves.

I start my quest September 8, 2004, with barely even 20,000g to my name and the main thing keeping me 'out there' being the fact I run the pro-choice guild, a political group on Gaia. But things aren't getting cheaper, so... why not?

I pick up donations here and there, and halloween events, and work my way up to 20% complete... and then it happens. My price break jumps from a mere 1.8 million to over 8 million in gold, and my progress is all but wiped out.

If those minis are ever going to be mine, I need to get myself back up to speed and fast. Gold doesn't go as far as it used to.

This thread itself is very small, but I'd hit almost 300+ plus pages on the old thread, if you're one of those types who needs to see a bigass thread to be convinced I'm not going to take the money and run. I mean, look at this page! It's frikkin' huge! whee Ain't nobody gonna tell me It's not neat and organized!

Will Draw For Gold</center>

Yes, I draw. The problem is, my motivation to draw is very fickle at times... so I can't go into normal business or auction off my work. I've tried.

If you want to try and motivate me to draw, that's another thing entirely... wink

Styles Available</center>
Sketches: These are just simple pencil sketches on white paper. Can also do ink sketches, but it takes a bit more patience.
Cleaned Line Art: Just the outlines of a sketch, done either in Raster or Vector art. I charge accordingly for the difference.
Color Art (Raster): This is work done in MS Paint, or Paint Shop Pro 9.
Color Art (Vector): Drawings done in Macromedia Flash MX.

Raster vs. Vector: Raster art is for pixelwork, where everything is a pixel and trying to resize/duplicate/rotate stuff is hell. Vector art can do all these things, but because vector art can go into infinite detail, I have to pay more attention to that detail.

What I Charge</center>
As I said, I'm fairly fickle when it comes to drawing at times... so you'll need to bear with me.

Sketches: Any amount over 1k will do. Sketches are really easy and so I don't mind doing them for such a low rate.
Cleaned Line Art: This might take a little more. whee 5-10k sounds fair, depends on the complexity involved.
Color Art (Raster): This usually takes a weekend's worth to do, and so I want to charge something sizable... shall we say 20k+?
Color Art (Vector): This stuff takes time! I have to charge something that's worth it.... Ya better have 30-40k on hand, or a really great donation item.

If it sounds like high prices, those are the breaks, because you're the one who clearly has the cash to burn on art while I'm trying to earn an item worth hundreds more than what I'm drawing for you. We can negotiate if all you want is a headshot or something, but don't expect a bargain.

Free Turtle Angels!</center>

No, seriously... I'm giving out lots of little angel turtles as incentive to make people donate to me! These little pixelated pets are sure to be a hit!

Here's how it works:

For Gold:

• Donate more than 100g, and recieve a free turtle!
• For your first 500g, recieve a second turtle!
• At every 1000g increment, you will recieve extra turtles!
• All turtles are random until you hit the 10,000g threshhold, at which point you can tell me which turtles you want to add on next.

For Bumping:

• After 10 bumps, you will recieve your first turtle.
• You get a second turtle at 100 bumps.
  
• At 500 bumps, you get a third turtle.
  
• For every 500 bumps after that, you get additional turtles.
  
• Turtles are random until you hit the 1,000 bump threshold, at which time you can ask for specific turtles.
• Every page pwned is a 2x turtle bonus!

For Linking:

• Recieve a free turtle for linking to me in your signature!
• Get another free turtle for linking to me in your quest/shop/charity!

For Avatar Art/Pets:

• No hard/fast rules on this one: The better I think it is, the more turtles you'll get. But you'll get at least one.

I typically only do the banners by request, so you may need to PM me about stuff. If I get too overwhelmed, I'll change this rule.

Some turtles are more common than others, as I use a randomizer to determine turtles at random, unless you've done enough for me that I can let you pick your own (see lists). However, you will only get one of each kind of turtle, I can guarantee that.
