Back story
Carvoiage was a simple minded warrior who didn't know much other than how to fight. He randomly wandered the land, lost to himself. Eventually, he wandered in to the Kingdom of Lunavoy, where the King had recently been murdered. The Prince and Princess who had killed him together to take the throne, framed the strange beast of a man who had suddenly appeared, thinking it the perfect crime.

Carvoiage was imprisoned without so much as an trial, and probably sentenced to death. A few weeks later, Princess Falis attempted to complete her plan to steal the throne, and murder her brother, the first heir. However, She had merely been the tactician behind the murder of the previous King, and lacked the ability to carry through with a murder on her own, especially one against Roland. When Falis was almost killed by her brother, she fled and released Carvoiage in hopes of using him to escape, which Carvoiage agreed to in exchange for being released afterward.

Once they were out of the castle, the duo stashed away in a shrine nearby to wait for the chance to get away. Carvoiage wandered in to the back of the shrine, and found a Sword engraved as, "The Sacred Curse", and recklessly removed it from it's case.

The moment the sword was released, it split in two, and let out a howl that only Carvoiage and Falis could hear. After being knocked unconscious by the shriek, the pair woke up in the morning and found themselves trapped together inside the same body. The souls of Carvoiage and Falis had been fused together, leaving them to shift between bodies forever.

Complications with the Fusion

-While Carvoiage and Falis were fused in spirit, the bodies didn't mesh. Both bodies remained fully intact. As a result: if both souls agree, they can shift their souls into the other body, no matter where it is.

-While both Carvoiage and Falis are trapped in the same body at all times, the native of the body maintains majority control, causing the two souls to disagree over which body to inhabit when traveling around.

-When the body that Carvoiage and Falis are inhabiting comes in contact with particular substances, either Carvoiage or Falis' soul is completely blocked out, and the other soul takes full control of the body they're occupying. However, if one of the souls is blocked out, shifting between bodies is impossible.

-The two bodies share nutrition, so it's not necessary for Carvoiage and Falis to switch bodies in order to feed both. The "Curse" is actually rather convenient. Though nutrition is shared, injuries are not. If seriously injured, the body can be left alone to heal while Carvoiage and Falis use the other one.

As a child Carl Vongrel was raised by his father, a Mercenary named Hyde Vongrel. Carl's mother had passed away, so his father often brought Carvoiage along to the battles he was engaged in. When he was eight years old, Hyde finally taught Carl how to fight, but Carl had naturally learned a lot just from watching his father.

When Carl was fully trained, he under went a process to form a contract with an animal spirit that had long since passed away. After three days, the spirit of a ferocious bear was welcomed in to his body. Berserker's like Carl and Hyde would temporarily give control of their bodies to the animal spirits during battle to gain an edge. In exchange, the spirits took up residence in their bodies.

Though Carvoiage was never seriously injured, he grew up without an education. He wasn't the smartest or strongest of will. He often had trouble taking control of his body after allowing the bear spirit to use it. When Hyde was eventually killed in battle, Carl was crushed by the loss. Carl's ability to control the bear weakened even more. Carl became a freelancing mercenary like his father at that point.

Carl wasn't concerned with money or women, so he just tried to find work wherever possible, working for as little as food, or even for no pay at all. He didn't know how to do anything else, so he had no other choice.

The bear began to take control of Carl's body of it's own free will. He would often wake up in the morning surrounded by dead bodies, and covered in blood. Eventually, the survivors of the midnight slaughters began to call him by the name, Carvoiage.

When Carl wandered too close to Castle LunaVora, the kingdom snatched him up, and tacked him with leading a Coup D'etat. He was imprisoned for weeks without any explanation.

Eventually, in the middle of the night, Princess Falis released him, and gave him a suit of her brother's Magic Repelling Armour, which was crafted by the combined efforts of the Greatest Sages, and Greatest Blacksmiths. The duo escaped the castle, and eventually wandered into the Shrine that held The Sacred Curse.

After his soul was fused with Falis', Carvoiage began to pick up on some of her intelligence. He generally learned to read, think instead of always acting on instinct, and gained more self confidence. The bear spirit inside of him has not once taken control without being allowed, and Carvoiage and Falis can resume control much easier than Carvoiage ever could on his own.

When Carvoiage and Falis come in contact with Diamonds, or Bear Parts(Fur, Claws, Bones, Exc.), Carvoiage falls into a sort of coma, and Falis has complete unrivaled control of the body.

When Falis was a young girl, she was poor, and lived in a small house with her parents and brother. Her mother and father had long since been leading a rebel group aiming to steal the kingdom from the current King. When Falis was four, they eventually did it. Her parents became the King and Queen, and her brother became the prince. She the Princess.

As time passed, Falis began to feel bitter. Though she was the princess, the people in the country had no respect for her or her family. It was her and the prince's desire to start forcing the respect of the people, but the king refused.

Princess Falis, and Prince Roland hated their parents. While they were off with the rebel group, the kids were left to fend for themselves at home for weeks at a time. Even after taking the kingdom, they ignored them, and tried to keep them quiet with riches.

The Prince dedicated all his time in to learning how to fight, and the Princess studied to become to become the tactician. Several years later, Prince Roland and Princess Falis worked together with several soilders who had served the Old Kingdom to successfully start a coup d'etat and killed the King and Queen,

Once Falis and Roland took the throne, Roland became King. He overhauled the laws and of the true King, which their parents had left in tact to keep the villagers from rebelling against them. Life became harsh for the townsfolk, and within months, Roland began preparing to begin expanding the empire. Everything had gone according to Falis' plans.

Now that Roland was ruling with an iron fist, she would kill him, take the throne, and restore the old laws and peaceful ways, making her a hero in the eyes of the townsfolk. Falis made a foolish mistake in her calculations. King Roland had become a powerful and paranoid warrior. Falis attempted to kill him in his sleep, not aware he wore armor beneath his clothes. Roland awoke, and turned the entire Kingdom on her in an instant. Falis desperately wanted to escape but knew she could never get past the castle's soilders and sages magic.

Falis fled to the dungeon, and released Carvoiage giving him a set of Roland's Magic Repelling Armor. Her plan was a success, and she was able to escape the village along side Carvoiage, which quickly brought them to the cave where the Sacred Curse was sealed...

The Soul Fusion with Carvoiage made her stronger, faster, and all around more physically fit. She quickly fine tuned her sword skills with the aid of the natural born warrior. When the body of Falis and Carvoiage comes into contact with emeralds or Dragon parts(Dragon Scales, Fangs, Claws, Fire, exc.) her soul enters a sort of coma which gives Carvoiage total unrivaled control.
