The administrative squad. They're in charge of filing paperwork for Soul Society and other administrative duties for the Central 46. They are held to a very high standard and keep Soul Society up and running. Because of this these members often are expected to fill in for other squads in times of need, especially since Aizen, Gin, and Tousen left. Walking into the office of the tenth division Matsumoto looked around the room. Avoiding paperwork was the one thing this busty blond was good and and she had seemed to succeed again. Hitsugaya was no were in sight and there was no paperwork on either of their desks. This day was just becoming better and better. Crossing the room she carefully untied her sword from were it rested on her waist and set it on her desk before making her way to the couch.
Sitting down Matsumoto swung her legs over the couch resting lightly on top of the warn blue cushions. She then snuggled into the fabric rolling over on her side so her face was close to the back of the couch. Closing her bright blue eyes she slowly began to drift off into a light sleep

It was midday that found Toshiro Hitsugaya stepping into his office at the 10th Squad headquarters, carrying a large stack of paperwork that went well above the small captain's head. After plopping the great stack of papers on his desk, he leaned back as his back started to crack a bit from stiffness.
Glancing about the office, he heard light snoozing on the couch and could come to only one conclusion. Stepping over to her, Hitsugaya gave her a shake and said, "Wake up, Matsumoto, we've got work to do." When she didn't wake, he shook her a bit harder and said more firmly, "Matsumoto! Come on! I don't want to have to do this by myself again!." She was either in deep snooze or she was doing her best to fake sleep to get out of doing work again. With a quiet sigh, he straightened out a sizeable stack of papers and began to go through them, his practiced eyes not missing a detail amongst the burocractic circlular language within the files. They were mostly profiles of potential judges and sages who were being considered to make up the new Central 46 chambers which he had to sort and file according to experience and ability before sending them on the Commander-General Yamamoto for final consideration. It was about time they were being chosen. Soul Society had been without a governing body since before Aizen left, though it was just before he did so that they even realized that.
Aizen. Just that name brought untold amount of anger to him. What he did to Hinamori most of all.

finally, after about ten minutes, Matsumoto sat up on the couch her arms above her head as she stretched. She quickly dropped them as she was dangerously close to falling out yet again from her top. She couldn't really help that though, wearing a tighter top made her feel more constricted and almost suffocated. It was something that she would not be able to have as she found it quite distracting. Problems like that could drastically change your ability to fight or even think. Things were much better her way. She stood up eyes scanning on the room and eventually landing on her small, silver haired captain.
"Oh, Hitsugaya-taichou. I didn't know that you were back here" The blond vice-captain said eyes wide chin slightly dropped in an innocent expression though it quickly turned to a look of disgust as she eyed the large pile of papers sitting on his desk. "I guess we have work to do" She mumbled walking over and picking up some papers off the top before brining them over to her own desk. This was not her idea of a good way to start the day it now changing from wonderful to just alright as she knew this work would take forever to finish.

Hitsugaya rolled his eyes at her comment of not knowing he was here, probably because she was such a heavy sleeper. "Yes, Yamamoto-taichou will be selecting the new candidates for the Central 46. A good thing, too. We've been without a governing body for long enough. After this, we have to go over to the Records Office to file those we don't send off to Yamamoto-taicho for future reference should some of those selected not work out or retire. Some of them are pretty old." Hitsugaya explained, not looking up from his work.

Matsumoto slouched slightly in her chair not at all enjoying her work. Paperwork was the only thing about this job that she absolutely hated. She felt it was pointless and a complete waist of time but there would be no getting around it no matter what she tried to do. "You mean we actually have to go to that stuffy building to put the unused stuff away." she mumbled puling out her writing brush and began to fill out the papers rather reluctantly.
The easily excitable blond knew there had to be some way to get out of the filing of these papers when they were done. Matsumoto suddenly came up with an idea. "Taichou....there is a lot of dust in that room....I'm allergic to dust. I mean if you want me to constantly sneeze I guess I could help you put them away..." She said hopping it would get her out of the extra work but not really counting on it. She knew full well that Hitsugaya knew dust did not bother her all that much

Without bothering to look up, Hitsugaya replied, "You're not allergic to dust. Try again." If she really wanted to get out of work, she could be much more imaginative than making up an allergy he knew for a fact she didn't have.

Matsumoto let out a sigh sitting back in her seat. "I guess it was worth a try" She mumbled before picking up some of the papers once more finishing them all slowly. She had tried to drag the whole thing out as long as possible not wanting to leave the comfort of their small office. Moving from page to page the woman frowned beginning to gain a small cramp in her hand only hoping that this would not take to much longer

(( Um ... Hello again? ^^; ))
He didn't bother replying to the muttered remark, merely snorting his disapproval. Honestly, she hadn't even been trying that time. If she was so determined to get out of work, then she'd very well have to work for it. It was a compromise he had adopted after she'd run off one time too many. She still managed to disappear every once in a while when he wasn't looking, but at the very least he could make sure she wouldn't leave the office without a viable excuse. What sort of captain would he be otherwise?
He noted the slow pace with which Matsumoto was handling her own work and quirked a pale eyebrow in something between condescention and amusement. She'd rather do the actual work than go to the Records Office to file it...? Was it really that traumatizing for her? He sighed, refocusing on the many names, ranks, and useless labels that littered his desk. It didn't take long for him to complete his share; he had seen enough that he could easily skim and still catch all of the important details. He didn't look at his moping lieutenant until he had restacked the papers in their correct order, and even then he only watched her, frowning down at the reports as if their very existance were causing her physical pain. "Well...?" he finally huffed. "These do have a deadline, you know."

((ha! Yay for RPing with Wind ^_^)) Matsumoto looked up at her captain head cocked slightly to the side as her smile once more returned. "Well if they have a deadline I'm sure you wouldn't mind helping?" She asked splitting her pile in two and placing one pile dangerously close to the edge of her desk. She knew just how much Hitsugaya hated having things turned in late so he would more then likely help her out just to get it out of the way, however if he felt in a mood to punish her he could just lock her up in the office until she finished without even a hope of a drink until she was done.
"It would go by much faster if I had someone else to help with filling them out" She added with a quick nod as she began to pick up the pace though only slightly. In truth she did not feel like going anywhere right now, unless it was to the bar or back to her apartment. Spending the afternoon in the stuffy records office was not her ideal day. She was not the type of person that thrived on working though paperwork and putting it away for later use. She felt it was better to leave things like that for the people who were good and it, which would not include her

Hitsugaya could literally see his time slipping through his fingers as Matsumoto gleefully looked to him, pushing forward half of her left over reports to the very edge of her desk, the corners of the papers tipping precariously over the clean-cut wooden edge. He glared at the isolated stack for a moment as Matsumoto continued on with her work, or the portion of her work that she hadn't allocated to her captain. With a defeated sigh, he finally succumbed, dragging himself up from his own desk and grudgingly making his way toward hers. With another purposeful glare aimed her way, he picked up the top half of the pile she had pushed aside and returned to his desk.
He may have been skilled with such reports, they may have even been the most encompassing part of his job, but that did not mean he had to like dealing with them. He'd much rather duke it out with an adjuchas any day. "You can do the rest on your own," he huffed as he once again focused his attention on the many names and dates that he would likely never see again after this mess was over. He wasn't sure if that thought left him quite as comforted as he had intended it to.

Matsumoto smiled wide to herself trying hard not to laugh. She knew she would be able to pawn at least some of the work off on her captain. It always worked like that. Besides he was better at it then she was anyways. "Thank you sir" She said happily once she got herself under control. Flipping though the pages she began to fill them out not really giving it all to much thought. She would fill them out correctly but that didn't mean that she had to give it her complete attention.
Slowly her pile began to dwindle till there was nothing left. She Matsumoto had split the pile up giving some to her captain she knew what she was doing. She kept all of the easy ones like the papers that just needed a signature from either her or Hitsugaya for herself giving him the more wordy papers. She did however slip in a few just signature ones to him so he did not get suspicious.

He huffed at her thanks. It was another of his compromises. He would acknowledge her, but he wasn't about to say "You're welcome." The fact that she was so happy as she said it only rubbed it in that yet again he had given in to her. And he tried not to read too far into how quickly she was now finishing off the rest of her reports, even though he had noticed that quite a few of the ones he had taken were the more complex forms. In rationalizing it, he had to accept that she had no set pace; not really. After all the time the two had shared in the office, he knew better than anyone how eccentric her work patterns could be. The amount of work she completed largely depended on her mood at the time ... and how sober she happened to be. He also had to accept that he was much the same way and that there was nothing to do be done about it, so there was no point in thinking about it all. With that mental prodding, he signed his name and moved on the second report.
As time went by, he too moved swiftly through the stack he'd taken, and soon enough, he had finished once again. Hopefully, this time was for real. He restacked everything in order and stood up, looking expectantly at her own papers. "Now are you ready?" he asked, not quite sure whether he'd be able to get her to give in this time or whether she'd try to run off before he could stop her.

Matsumoto looked up smugly from the stack of finished paperwork on her desk. For once she was actually quit proud of herself when it came to her job. As much as she hated is she had finished all of the paperwork, save for the few that she had pawned off on her captain, in record time for her. Grant it most of the papers on her desk just needed a quick signature or something along those lines but she would not pay any attention to that as she had finished it in an efficient amount of time.
"But to we really have to take all of this to the records office now?" Matsumoto asked head cocked slightly to the side as she examined her captains eyes with her own. She could tell he was not all hat pleased with her but he would get over it soon, he always did. She had that about her, no one could stay mad at Matsumoto for to long before she got them to break out into a smile of sorts. "I'm sure there are many other things you would rather be doing with your time then sitting in that stuffy room putting away papers." She added with a smirk hoping that he would agree. They could always finish their work later. After all, to her knowledge, nothing was going on right now that required hard work and panic all the time so taking a break from the papers couldn't to do much damage
