Ise Nanao slowly pushed her glasses back up the bridge of her nose before pushing away from her desk. She had just spent the better part of a good few hours working on her usual stack of paperwork. All that seemed to be left where the few that she needed her captain to sign. That was when she realized it. Kyouraku had been gone this whole time. 'no doubt he is off lounging somewhere' she thought to herself as she stood and walked over to the window opening it to let in the faint breeze that caused the trees to sway and bend. Looking around her eyes landed on the still form of her captain stretched out on the grass. She tried to hide a smile as she walked away from the window towards the door of the office.

Walking out into the midday sun Nanao started in the direction of her captain. The hill was not far off so she arrived in a matter of moments. Lightly sitting down next to him she brushed a small free strand of hair back from her face before she began to speak. "I see your letting yourself relax a bit" She said quietly

Nanao leaned back her arms now slightly behind her body as she brassed herself hands pushed down into the grass. "How do you expect to get any work done if you going to sleep out here all day sir" She asked looking down at Shunsui still trying to hide the smile from her lips. As much as she wanted to scold him for his actions she could not help but laugh at his relaxed attitude never letting to much bother him

Shaking her head she looked off into the horizon. "And what would you rather be doing with your time sir, if you were not sleeping" Nanao asked her hair blowing slightly in the breeze as she looked up towards the sky. It haw hard for her to do anything when she knew there was a mound of paperwork to do just sitting there at her desk. She was quite lucky that she had finished her portion. Shunsui's as well if you didn't count the papers that were left for him to sign himself. She knew that he would get it done in time it was just a matter of when. Her captain always seemed to take care of things of that nature at the last minute.

Shifting her weight so her hands were free once more Nanao pulled up her knees wrapping her arms around them and setting her chin on top. Not a usual gesture for her but one that seemed to be comfortable from time to time. Turning her head to the side once more she looked at her captain through the small glass windows set on the bridge of her nose. "I can understand the want to do something more productive..." She began with a slight pause. "But if we don't record it in the form of paperwork then how will we ever remember or learn what has happened in the past and not make the same mistakes. Paperwork though irritating at times is a very important part of our job" She finished bitting the edge of her bottom lip. she only hoped that she did not make that statement sounding as if she where scolding Shunsui as she was only stating a fact that she found quite important.

Giving a small sigh Nanao looked back up into the sky watching the clouds drift lazily in the brief pause in their conversation. Running things back though her mind though she almost had to admit that there did seem to be an excessive amount of paperwork given to the divisions. As important as paperwork was she did not feel they needed quite that much

"Its not that I feel I need paperwork to keep myself busy, there are many other more productive things I could be doing with my time" Nanao said with a small sigh. She would honestly much rather have some free time on her hands for once but with everything going on as it always seemed to be she never really had time for it.

She then lay her back on the cool grass looking up at the sky. Nanao lightly closed her eyes. "I can see why you find this so appealing though" It was not often that she was able to just relax like this. Even though she had work to do for the first time Nanao actually did not want to do it.

Nanao's hands rested lightly on her stomach fingers meshed together. She let out a small sigh letting her body relieve itself for all tension for one. "The tenth still has more believe me, I was talking about it with Matsumoto just the other day. She couldn't stop complaining about it when she came by the office to drop off a few things" she said with a small chuckle remembering the blonds anger as she vented about her rather large stack of paperwork that sat waiting in her office.

Nanao sat up slowly taking a glance back towards the division eight headquarters. There where still a few things that she needed to take care of like organizing the rest of the paperwork and placing it in its proper files. With a small sigh she pushed her glasses once more up to the bridge of her nose as they has slipped when sitting.

"Alright, I'll go with you but please lets not make this a whole day ordeal sir. I still have work to do back in the office" Standing up Nanao brushed the few loose strands of grass that had settled on her clothing before running a hand over top of her head to make sure no lose strands of hair where sticking out in odd places. She was going to meet a new captain after all and she wanted to make sure she made a good first impression.
