The 3rd Division’s members are Soul Society's attack group. They are usually the first ones called when a problem arises. This division's members are the fastest acting members and can be rallied at a moments notice. They are the first to move in any situation and are generally known for their speed and efficiency.

Hoshiko reached the building and walked it. She crossed the hall to the grounds and noticed many dummies were set up, all different sizes and shapes. Hollow, Arrancar, Rouge Shinigami, interesting. She unsheathed her blade and shouted. "Aiko Akane!" It was a little larger this time. She then lept to the side ad one of the dummies tried to attack her. Enchanted eh? Good, it makes things more interesting. She began hopping around, destroying one dummy after another, she knew most of the dummies weknesses from acadamy training and archives. She then encountered a difficult Arrancar dummy. She lept to its left then quickly moved to it's left and stabbing it in the face. Most of the dummies were dust by now, but as she advanced into the next parts of the grounds, which oddly seemed a little mazelike now thay got tougher she passed around six rooms before getting even a little tired but now at number eight she was near exhausted. But she did not give up. This is a test of my strenth. She stabbed at them one by one. Working her hardest. She had only a few scratches and bruises by now. Hoshiko then reached some even more difficult ones that were mainly high ranked Arrancar and Shinigami. They all then swarmed at her she fought them off, working even harder than before. Blood trickled from a fresh cut on her cheek. Bah! Nothing, I could take worse. But she was getting low on energy. Dangerously low.

Hoshiko was begining to slow down. She finished off the area and stayed there for a while. She unpacked a healthy meal in which she will use to gain some more energy. She finished eating and continued on, by the end of that one she knew she could go no further. But she could see the end. I know this is a test of my skill, I must win. She traveled on to the final section. There were hundreds of them this time, all high level. SHe fought as well as she could. Blood poured from her arm as a gash appeared. But she slew the last one with ease. She finished and picked up an orange from the tree that was there and returned to the begining after sealing her znapakuto. She sat down in the building eating the orange and patching up her arm.

((Okay, I have to step in here. Hayaikaen, please refrain from repremanding other members. You are not part of the Crew so if you see something that looks like it should be moved or is in an improper place, let me know and I'll decide what needs to be done. Leah, you were told to go to your squad and train, that's good enough. Since none of us really know what constitutes a squads headquarters (I happen to know that Squad Two's area is rather large and consists of many things) we can assume that the active attack squad would have a training ground within their boundaries in order to keep fit without having to go out and train. The training grounds are a place where people from different squads, or even students at the academy, can go to train. Think of it as a public park. People can have front or back yards at their houses but can go to the park to interact with other people that don't live there. It's the same concept. Anyway, carry on Leah. I'll be taking the roll of Izuru Kira from here on out until someone else claims him.))

Things in the office were so boring. Kira had finished all of the paperwork his new captain had made him do and now he sat there, alone, bored out of his mind. He couldn't help but wonder what life must be like for other lieutenants since most of them had Captains that they could trust. Kira, on the other hand, felt that he could trust no one but himself at the moment. After what Aizen and Gin did to him who could blame him? It wasn't like he asked for that stuff to happen, nor could he forsee it. Who's to say that this new guy Kuzuraiku, wouldn't betray him as well. That's why it was up to him to get stronger and protect his squad. Who needs a Captain anyway? He had been running things just fine alone. As he realized this he decided to go out and inspect the crew. He made his way through the halls and eventually came to the training area. It looked as though someone had plenty of fun fighting the dummies! As he looked around he finally spotted a young girl eating an orange. That wasn't all, however. She had been injured. The caring individual that he was, Kira rushed over to get a good look at her.

"You shouldn't go through there alone. There's no telling what difficulty level some of the higher seats might have left it at..." He said as he knealt down to glance at her wounds.

Kira smiled at the young girl and reached out for a piece of orange, "Please," He said calmly. She must have fought pretty hard. The course was set for people around the level of 15th Seat, but she was not yet a seated officer. He would have to report this to the Captain as soon as he got back. "I'm sorry, what did you say your name was?" He asked as he had forgotten exactly who she was. It was something that started with an "H"... or mabe and "A"? He knew it ended in an "O" sound but it just couldn't come out into his memory.

Kira watched in slight amazement. This girl had plenty of potential but she was a bit too careless for her own good. Her arm and leg were badly injured and even though she passed the course with an admirable time he couldn't help but want to repremand her. "You over did it," he said bluntly. "Yes, you can probably handle yourself in a battle against most hollows, but if you push yourself too far it won't be worth much in the end. This isn't the Eleventh Squad, we like to have our members come back in one piece. Go check yourself into Fourth Squad and get those wounds looked at. Can you walk there on your own?"

Something about this girl set Kira on edge. She was very strange to him, but who was he to judge someone he didn't even know? It didn't matter, he would treat her the way he would anyone else in his squad. "I see, well do what you must. Don't come crying to me if you get injured too badly. I'll be in the office looking over what Yamamoto-soutaichou has in store for our squad for the big fight with Aizen. Have fun!" He turned and headed for the office, keeping some of his attention on her. He didn't actually want her to get hurt, but if she put herself in danger on purpose he didn't have much remorse for her getting hurt. It was her responsibility to take care of herself and keep things to her limits during training.
