A tiny store owned by Kisuke Urahara where he sells otherwordly items to the Shinigami assigned to Karakura Town, such as Gigai, Soul Candy and various regular items for any humans who may stumble into it. Urahara created a vast area beneath the shop that basically serves as an open training area with lots of large rock formations and small canyons.

A large yawn stretched Kisuke Urahara's face as he waved his fan in front of his face, hoping to cool off a bit during this unusually warm Fall weather. Business had been slow lately, especially with the local Shinigami called back to Soul Society to buffer their defenses for Aizen's oncoming war. It was a good thing he didn't pay taxes or anything on the shop, or he'd up a creek right now. Maybe if he advertized it would drum up some business...
Nah, ads in the Shinigami newspaper were too expensive, anyway.

Nagaharu was the first to step through the Garganta after Duo, shielding his eyes against the bright sun. The taste of the light within Los Noches paled in comparison to the real thing. The warmth, the intensity, all of it. The darkness had finally been left behind. He was finally free. They were finally free. The breeze washed across his skin and he couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the lack of sand it kicked up. "One step closer to home." he muttered.

Mugoi was the next to step out of the gate after Haru. He looked around, shading his eyes as he did so, scoping out all the different sources of Reiatsu. Of course, with Urahara not more than ten yards away it was hard to get a good feeling for anyone other than him. He took in a deep breath and found his way over to a patch of grass. He kneeled down on one knee and ran his fingers through the gree foliage with a smile, as if petting the Earth itself. "Ah... I wish the entire world were covered in this stuff rather than sand." He said to himself as he stood up to look at the gate for the others who should be coming through.

Doki practically flew through the portal she was so excited. Once on the other side she jumped up and spun around, quickly taking in all there was to see. Even the sight of weeds growing in Urahara's yard was enough to make her sigh with happiness. "Wahoo!" She cheered, unable to contain herself. She quickly darted over to Du'o and gave him a big kiss on the cheek and said, "Thank you so much, Du'o. You've really done it!"

Du'o crossed his arms and looked down a little; his face blushed a little bit. "It was nothing really I'm just glad I was able to finally get all of you out there." He then began to walk around outside of the shop, not straying too far from the gate. "Hopefully the captain and Dreza will make it through the gate okay; we shouldn't be hanging out in front of Urahara's for very long," Du'o thought to himself.

Ikkimaru stepped through the portal slowly, savoring the moment of release from their 600 years of humiliation and dishonor. It was time to regain what was once theirs and with interest! A grin appeared on his face as he felt the sunlight and the breeze caress his cheeks. He looked around, counting the heads of his troops, and noticed that Dreza was missing. It didn't matter for he knew Dreza was a big boy and a bit of a loner at that. He could handle himself. He looked up at the sign that read "Urahara Shoten," and shook his head.
"A once proud Captain and now he's running a convenience store. I see time has not been kind to him either." Ikkimaru said aloud. He slowly let his reiatsu raise up. It was his way of knocking the door, so to speak. He knew that Urahara would be bound to feel it and would likely come to investigate.

It was only a moment after Ikkimaru gave his personal knock when the door to the store opened and Urahara looked out to see who it was. The first thing his eyes landed on was the Arrancar and was about to call up the troops to take care of it, but the fact that this one was surrounded by Shinigami was not lost to him. In fact, many of them looked somewhat familiar. Finally, he spotted Ikkimaru and memory burst to the surface.
"Ikki-chan!" he exclaimed, throwing open the door and stepping towards the captain before giving him a great big hug, "It's been years! How have you been, old friend?"
Nagaharu couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Urahara's greeting, the fact that he was giving a scary man like Ikkimaru a bear hug was a testament to his former station.

"Centuries, is more like it!" Ikkimaru said with a laugh, "I can't believe how different you are. What's with the hat?" As Ikkimaru leaned back from the hug a sly looking black cat creeped out from inside Urahara's shop and instantly flashed over to Ikkimaru's side. It quickly leapt up onto his shoulder and promptly bit his ear. This, of course, caught Ikkimaru off guard as he honestly didn't expect any animal on earth to be able to see him, let alone bite him in the ear. He reached up and grabbed the animal by the scruff and held it in front of him.
"What the hell?" He asked when suddenly the cat seemed to smile and waved at him.
"What? Aren't you going to say hi?" The cat asked in its usual deep voice.
Ikkimaru dropped the cat as he especially wasn't expecting the animal to talk. He was somewhat speechless until a memory of his own flashed through his head and he remembered a certain technique that his sister's husband's family would perform. He quickly broke Urahara's embrace and kneeled down. "Yoru- Yoruichi!" He exclaimed as he picked the cat back up again, this time much more gently. "It has to be you, don't lie to me young lady." The cat simply gave a meow and flashed away, back into the house.

As Zane stepped out of the Garganta, he noticed he'd arrived in an entirely different place from the others. Duo must have been a bit off in his calculations, but at least he could still sense Ikkimaru's reiatsu when he gave off a flare of it.
Setting off at a running speed, Zane turned a corner, but was closer than he thought as he ran head on into Ikkimaru, the impact causing him to fall back on his butt.
"Sorry Captain...I...um...got a bit lost. So i thought that if I ran fast enough, I could find you quicker, and I did, and now I found you!"" he said with a grin, picking himself back up and dusting the dirt from his trousers and shirt.
Now that he was here, Zane noticed a strange face that he hadn't seen before, a man whom Ikkimaru referred to as Urahara. Not wanting to be rude, Zane grinned and said,
"Hi."

Standing next to Du'o in with a suddenness most would find disturbing if unaccustomed, "Sorry Im late Taichou not sure why it took me longer to exit."
Looking at Urahara, Dreza was suprised this was the same man. Unsure if he would be recognized, Dreza could never recall actually speaking to Urahara directly.

Urahara only chuckled at Ikkimaru as Yoroichi made herself known and scampered back into the Shoten. "Sorry about her, Ikki-chan. She tends to prefer that form nowadays." he said before gazing over the assembled. The 14th squad, all gathered right here. But, there were so few of them, the others must have been killed in Hueco Mundo. "You'll have to give me the full story of how you got back. But, what am I thinking?! We're all just standing out here, come in, everyone, I'll have some tea put on." he said, turning on his heel and walking back into the Shoten, calling inside, "Put on some tea, Tessen, we have guests!"

Ikkimaru nodded and motioned for everyone to follow the former Captain. "So, old friend, I see you've made yourself quite comfortable in this realm. Humans always were such quaint creatures." He said as he followed inside and looked around. As he turned a corner into the living room Yoruichi sat there, back in her human form and fully clothed. She waved, holding a toothy grin on her face as she stood up.
"Uncle, I'm glad to see you've kept yourself alive after all these years." She said happily. "I never thought I'd see you again. Mother will be happy to know that you are free."
"Don't be so sure of that," Ikkimaru responded, "She never approved of what I wanted for Soul Society. After all, it would have uprooted everything that your father's family stood for. Nobility. Separation of the classes. Who could blame her for siding with him? She was in love, I was not one to tell her to stick with me."
"Well, I'm just glad to see you. It really has been too long. A lot has happened since you left." As she spoke Tessen brought out the tea for everyone to drink. Ikkimaru's eye scanned the strange man from head to toe, curious as to what kind of creature he was. Surely one of Urahara's experiments.
"Yes..." He said softly, "I am very glad to see that you are well. Can you fill us in on some of the main events that have occured?"
Yoruichi nodded, "In due time. But first I think that we should all just catch up. I see your squad is here. There are less of you now than there were. It must have been so hard."
