In an interview with Eurogamer, Nintendogs creator Hideki Konno said," To tell the truth, we were already starting to develop a cat-based game at the outset of this project. So we already have the cat models, voice data and so on." Good news for you cat lovers out there^^. Although I do wonder how they're going to make it fun. Cats don't do tricks and all they do all day is sleep neutral . Perhaps the gameplay will differ from that of Nintendogs... http://eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=60624

Hm. This seems different.
Although, you are right, in the fact that dogs are a little more interactive than cats.

I wish they'd make a cool name like 'Nintendogs' though.

My cats are fun. They explore the outdoors and they fight and they play rough with me. And sometimes they just bite me for fun. Cats are lazy mean bastards, but I still love them, they're nice sometimes. My one kitty is outside my room right now! It would be cool if you could interact nintendogs with it, ya know? one of my cats used to be pals with my dog when we had it! Well, it sounds cool.

Trust me its gonna be like nintendogs with replaced models.

I guess they could make a game where you take care of a cat, and then you play as the cat and go explore the neighborhood.

It will probably be just nintendogs but with cats. It'll be made to please people who like cats more in the same way that the 3 versions of Ndogs were made to please people who like different dogs.

WTF cats dont explore nieghborhoods thats gonna be my problem they dont do anything. You could pet them and give them toys. You sure can wash 'em they'll cut the $%@ out of ya rofl

MY cats love to explore. The possibilities are endless! You could bring your owner back a dead mouse, and you could lick your fur a lot. It will be great, I will probably buy it, cause I love cats!
