And yet, it's not. You're not the only person to think that. I had this one person who absolutely refused to believe me, and they kept sending me these really terrible notes, like "You complete wanker, you f*cking f*cker. No one f*cking believes you. You might as well go kill yourself you motherf*cker." So I moved it to the Photomanip category just to shut them up. But I did paint it, with a tablet and Painter.

I have looked at it over and over, and there is no way you could of done that on your first time using that program and a Tablet.
Even Skye would of struggled to do an image like that on her first attempt, and in your DA Account I only see one other piece of art by you which is just an amateur doodle, I highly doubt you did that picture, sorry.

Actually, in all fairness, digital art is SO much easier to do than traditional, it's laughable. Just one look at my traditional from 2006, and you'd probably laugh - saying that I wasn't even worthy of 10k views...but my digital hasn't changed since then - so who's to say that in fact, I perhaps couldn't have painted to this standard earlier? Since it's easier to see anatomy proportions and such, and pick out colour schemes with modern technology's ease, it's much more likely that digital realism would look better than that of a person's traditional media.
There is such a thing as keeping thoughts to yourself, by the way. Frozen has had a lot of hassle in the past from such comments - and I know exactly how it feels, because I've had the same thing on multiple occassions; so it's often best to not comment; because what you may find a justified accussation might actually hurt someone else.
Just thought I'd interupt here.

I did it in five minutes in a DT lesson last year, and you're judging my artistic merit based on that? Jesus Christ. And what? Flash doens't count as art? Photography doesn't count? Whatever.
