Upon release Du’o’s arms become long and lanky, making his physical reach thus greater than normal, additionally his lower body become surprisingly huge and heavy making him much slower than he normally is. Du’o also sprouts wings and can fly with them but due to his massive body size he still can’t move at mach speeds and prefers to use his wings for when he doesn’t have any footing for his oversized body.
Langosta rey specializes mainly in status altering abilities and upon release Du’o constantly releases a neurotoxin that affects the motor skills of the brain. The only way to combat this poison is either to be given a vaccine made from Du’o’s body or for Du’o to revert back to his arrancar form. Aside from Du’o toxin he also harbors a small army of tiny insect hallows in his body. While these bugs can be fearsome and will defend their king and home they’re mainly used for defensive purposes, protecting Du’o blind spots and openings, sacrificing themselves as shields for their lord.
Du’o’s greatest ability is his eggs, these eggs are created from wither Du’o himself or any of the victims that he feeds on.
The eggs vary in different color and effects such; healing remedies, energy restoration, poison, antidotes, acids and even violent explosives. The color coding is known only to Du’o so that even if they’re stolen what they do is known only to him. In order to make all these eggs and bugs Du’o must occasionally feed on live prey in order to get enough energy for these reproduction abilities but because his body is so much heavier than his other form he’s equipped with one of two ways to strike prey, one of which is his señor lengüeta (lord’s tongue) in which his index fingers act like tentacles that can either inject prey with a deadly hemo toxin or drag the foe in the Du’o’s deadly jaws.
His primary way of hunting is to simply burrow deep underground and strike from under neither with either his señor lengüeta or his tail.

With his new body Du'o has a whole new list of abilities, because of his new body he has lost all his previous abilities keeping only his eggs, extension tongue and hive abilities. His new body is resistant to all types of poisons and foreign drugs and it’s also lighter and nimbler than his former release, resulting in greater increase of speed. His newest ability is being able to copy another's form by feasting on their blood. Du'o can only copy one form at a time and needs a new sample of blood every time he wishes to change into someone. When in this form he can copy any abilities that the host already knows but Du'o's power level will remain unchanged.
Final Attacks:
Incursión del rey de la langosta(Raid of the locust king) – an attack that releases all of Du’o’s bugs after which they will surround their prey in a giant dome, after which the bugs will all fire Ceros with Du’o firing a Grand Cero into the dome.
Banquete de la Colmena (Feast of the Hive) - Du'o releases all the bugs within his body and has them all go into a feeding frenzy on whatever target(s) he chooses. During the frenzy the bugs will bite and cero the flesh until there is nothing left.

Basic Arrancar Abilities
Bala (虚弾, lit. "Hollow bullet;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "bullet") is a weaker but quicker alternative to regular cero blasts. The technique hardens the user's spiritual pressure and fires it at around twenty times the speed of a cero.
Cero (虚閃, lit. "hollow flash"; the pronunciation is Spanish for "zero") are high-powered energy blasts that can be fired from either the mouth or hand. Only menos, arrancar, and vizard have so far been shown to use cero attacks, and it appears that stronger entities can use it more efficiently. A more powerful version of cero exists called gran rey cero (王虚の閃光, lit. "Royal hollow flash;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "great king zero"). Only Espada are capable of using this version of the technique.[10] In Hueco Mundo, the power of the technique is such that it warps the space around the point it was fired from.
Garganta (黒腔, lit. "black cavity;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "throat") is how arrancar move to and from Hueco Mundo. Kaname Tōsen has also demonstrated the ability to use the technique. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway. When used, the technique opens the dimensional fabric like a door.
Hierro (鋼皮, lit. "steel skin;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "iron") refers to the ultra tough skin of the arrancar, which is a result of their compressed spiritual power. While their skin is strong enough to block even released zanpakutō bare-handed, it is by no means impenetrable. Stronger arrancar have proportionally stronger skin.
Negación (反膜, lit. "counter membrane;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "negation") fields are used to rescue fellow hollows. Only the gillian-class menos have shown the ability to use it. Negación fields surround a target in a square beam of light that isolates the target from the dimension they are currently in, making it impossible to harm them. The field then pulls the target towards the menos that created the field. Espada have a special cube-shaped device called Caja Negación (Spanish for "Negation Box") meant to simulate negación fields, which are used to punish their subordinates if necessary. The cube, when used on a subject, traps them in an alternate dimension from which there is no escape; however, this assumes it's being used as intended. More powerful arrancar, namely the Espada themselves, can escape given enough time.
Pesquisa (探査回路, lit. "inquiry circuit;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "inquiry") is the arrancar equivalent of the shinigami ability to sense spiritual pressure. It functions similar to sonar.
Sonido (響転, lit. "resounding revolution;" the pronunciation is Spanish for "sound") is the arrancar equivalent of the shinigami flash steps; it allows the user to travel at incredibly high speeds for short distances. Use of sonido is punctuated by a brief static sound, in contrast to the "swish" sound used for flash steps.

Character Bio:
Du’o is one of the few naturally evolved arrancars in Hueco Mundo. Back when he was an adjuchas he took the form of a large dragonfly/locus that would ravage the lands of Hueco Mundo and feed off everything with his insect army housed in his body. Shortly before his evolution he was confronted by Ikkimaru and convinced the captain through a heated battle to let him join up with the 14th squad. It was only until after his evolution that Du’o power was revealed and he’s become a much more valued member of the team than he was before.
As a member of the 14th he specializes as the crew chief scientist and healer. As a result he chooses to rarely fight and his released form can be a testament as to why he doesn’t. He can usually handle anything that comes at him with just his human form but if he knows he’s going to have to release his form he’ll usually travel with a teammate. When it comes to being a scientist his skill takes more after Urahara than Mayuri , one of his proudest inventions is a gigai that work on arrancars and certain hallows. Some of his other inventions range from high speed regen serums, quick clones, and many other gene altering devices. He’s now focusing his work more on weaponry that can aid him and his comrades in the battles to come.
Additional Info:
With a high intelligence and skill level such as his you’d think Du’o would be more arrogant but Du’o has a very passive personality and acts more like a brother or a father than a team mate. In a pinch though he’s extremely loyal to his allies, especially to Ikkimaru. Du'o has also created his own faccion, FIDO. While it may have been created from his body it can't speak yet giving Du'o the incentive to call it the less than original name. Fido's acts the same way Du'o's other insects do except that it's 5ft tall and lives outside his body. FIDO's abilities are the same as all adjuchas, the exception is Fido has super speed and superior strength.
