Weapon Info/Abilities: Tamakusari Kokuken (Bullet Chain Cutting Blade). Release phrase: Focus your strength Tamakusari Kokuken. Soen is ambidextrous and can either hold the sword back handed (generally in his left hand) or traditionally (in his right or both hands, right hand forward).

Shiaki: When released, Tamakusari Kokuken grows about two inches longer than a common katana and a chain appears attached to the end of the hilt. The chain itself can grow in length from only a couple of feet to over twenty feet long when thrown or spun. At the opposite end of the chan there is a diamond shaped steel weight that weighs approximately ten pounds. Upon starting, the chain is generally wrapped around his right shoulder until he takes it off and begins to use it. The tip of the weight had a special blue crystal that, when it makes contact with something solid such as a wall or a body, sends a focused burst of his reiatsu into the target causing massive damage until it exits the target (or in the case of the ground, simply dissipated in the large solid mass). The sword itself is enveloped in vibrating reiatsu and when it cuts into an enemy it actually slices up to two inches deeper than the cut would be without. This is dependent on how powered up Soen is (or how tired he is) and how powerful the opponent is.

Bankai: Upon release of Bankai Soen will be granted one perfect clone of himself. This clone is equal in power and ability but must be controled mentally by Soen himself. It acts as an independent entity. If it becomes exhausted in battle the real Soen is not affected by this exhaustion. If it is killed Soen cannot summon him back for a short amount of time. Soen can summon up to three of these clones at a time, but the final ability cannot be applied to all three at once: At any one time one clone can become invisible to the eye. Coupled with Soen's mastery of hiding his reiatsu this makes the clone only detectable through sound. Invisibility is nullified a split second before any attack be it a physical attack or the start of a kidou incantation. Only one clone can exist while this ability is in effect. Shikai abilities still apply for these clones. Unique to Soen, his Bankai clones can remain active even with a sealed sword.
Personal Abilities: Soen is a master of swordsmanship (Zanjutsu) as well as hand to hand combat. He has trained his mind to ignore pain and sharpened his senses to a degree far greater than any human. His sword is blindingly fast, and over the years he's mastered the art of Shunpo, which is fast enough to rival even Soifon (if she were still alive). He is moderately strong also, strong enough to over power people around his same size, but easilly over powered by someone bigger (Kenpachi would own him pretty hard here). Bakudou numbers 58, 61, 62, and 99 Part 1, Hadou 4, 31, 54, both 63s, and 88. He could have learned more hadou spells under 88 but didn't see the point. Over the past 50 years he's realized that being a Captain means more use of kidou. Since taking over the Second Division he'd read up on the use of Shunko and is still in the process of fully mastering it. This, coupled with his mastery of hand to hand combat and his clones makes him a dangerous opponent. His metal shirt is the only piece of his outfit that doesn't get shredded when activating this ability. Aside from all this, he has become a master of stealth. Only very well trained members of the Special Forces would be able to detect him if he doesn't want to be detected.
Character Bio: Soen was born to the noble Sukkiri family. Though noble, his family was certainly not as high class as say the Kyouraku or Kuchiki family, but more lower class like the Ukitake family. His father and mother were both rather strong shinigami, but retired so that they could focus on training him, their only child. Ever since he could remember he was trained to hold a sword. It was not uncommon to see him holding a sippy cup in one hand and a tanto in the other. His father trained him vigorously in the art of Zanjutsu and his mother trained his mind so that he would be able to handle even the most intense of battles. He entered the Academy at a relatively young age and was accepted into the Special Forces after acing all of his exams. He was only 160 or so when Ikkimaru and the 14th Squad waged their war with Yamamoto. Needless to say he was for the most part powerless to stop them. His commander at the time, Yoruichi, simply told him to stay out of the way and keep training. The 14th Squad was defeated and sent to Hueco Mundo and everyone was forced to forget about them. After that incident he continued his training, upset that he couldn't even stand up to the members of the elite squad for even a moment.

After Yoruichi decided to quit as the Commander of the Special Forces, Soen decided that he too would quit. Unfortunately quitting the Gotei 13 was harder than it sounds and instead he was placed as a teacher in the Academy. Since then he'd taught many of the Lieutenants of the Thirteen Squads, and his loyalty really was more to them than it was to Seireitei. However, when Ikkimaru returned and claimed the spot of Soutaichou he killed Soifon in the process, which opened up the spot for Second Captain. He'd been working on learning his Bankai for many years and had learned it not long after her death and so he took charge of the Second Division and began his path to self mastery once again. He grew in strength greatly under Ikkimaru's rule and his loyalty to the new Seireitei grew quite strong.

Additional Info: Soen is rather respectful towards others as he has found that to get respect one has to give it first. He will generally push others as hard as he pushes himself and therefore some may see him as a harsh teacher.
Pic/Description: Soen generally wears his shinigami robe open (much like Kenpachi but without the coat), revealing the fishnet-style armor beneath, and his sleeves are ripped off. He stands about five feet ten inches tall. He wears leather fingerless gloves with steel knuckle caps that run up to his mid-forearm. He wears his zanpakuto on his lower back, horizontally, with the hilt on the left side.

Some of his students include Hitsugaya, Hinamori, Rukia, Renji, and Kira, just to name some of the most famous.

Race: Marak'Hai (Ha'Kai officer, not quite a General)
Weapon: Clawed gauntlets, and his body.
Weapon Info/Abilities: There isn't anything special about his gauntlets other than the fact that they are plenty sharp enough to cut into most things, and he can grab things relatively well with them. His abilities are his true weapon.
Personal Abilities: Fuma is extremely well balanced in terms of strength and speed. He is fast, strong, and quite skilled at hand-to-hand combat, as well as the Demon Arts (Kidou). What makes him unique is that his arms can stretch to great lengths, usually up to about 40 feet, and do so at very high speeds. He often will use his metal gauntlets, which stretch with his arms oddly enough, as clubs to bash opponents with by swinging his extended arm. His legs can stretch too, but only a couple of feet. Fuma is also a master of stealth, able to blend in both visually and spiritually to nearly any surrounding.
Character Bio: Fuma was the head of the legendary Fuma Ninja Clan during the Warring States era of Japan, but his time as the head was short lived as he preferred to do things independently, they kicked him out. It suited him just fine, he preferred a life of chaos anyhow. He would often enter a battlefield just to cause confusion among the ranks of both sides. He would enlist in the ranks of one side and as soon as they gained the upper hand and were about to seize victory he'd switch sides and fight them off. His reveled in the act of murder, often curious to see how it would change things with the people around the person killed. He would murder a parent to see how the child would adapt, only to kill the child when it finally was able to fend for itself. His soul blackened with each kill he made, especially with the killing of civilians. Samurai were fun to kill, but the screaming woman in the field just gave so much more satisfaction!

Finally, though, his deeds caught up to him and he ran into the other legendary ninja, Hattori Hanzo, who killed him for his crimes. Fuma's soul was immediately sent to Hell through the Hell Gate. Already more demon than man, he had already taken the form of a Yo'Kai. For four hundred years he wandered Hell, creating as much chaos as he could, killing and eating other Marak'hai, even a couple of other Yo'Kai. It was then that he met Navitas, one of the Four Generals. This man had been attracted to him because of the chaos he was creating. It turned out that both of them had a taste for chaos, but Navitas was already much more powerful being that he was a Ha'Kai. He urged Fuma to become stronger until finally he too became a Ha'Kai. Being tha the only recently evolved, Kotaro is not as strong as the other Ha'Kai that make up the Generals, and he serves the Emperor and Prince under Navitas' command.
