Shikai- Flames rise up from the Zanpakuto, and can be used to make both long-range attacks and to empower close-range blows. The fire take the form of whatever animal it wants. Not that Zane wants, but what Hiyashi wants. Surroundings or nearby flames can also be used to gain advantage of an opponent.
His Zanpakuto remains a regular katana, and sheath, which can also be used to attack.

Personal Abilities: Skillfully expert at Flash-Stepping, rubbish at Kido, and excells at hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship.
Spirit form: Hiyasho's spirit form is that of fire demon, who has the ability to change his shape at will. He changes to match his mood, as does his powers, Bankai and Shikai. Usually, it's just an animated orange flame with arms, eyes and a mouth. He does have a human form, but hasn't even shown it to Zane yet.
His spirit only appeared when it acknowledged that Zane had indeed matured, and decided to show himself fully.
Character Bio: After he died, Zane found himself in the Rukongia. He soon made friends with the local orphans, who stole to survive. Soon after that, he realise that being in Rukongai had no future, and seeing his friends die one after another of starvation, and decided to join the shinigami academy and become a shinigami. His life in shinigami academy is tough. He was constantly picked on, and treated because of where he had come from. Then, after years of training, he was assigned to Squad 11, where he trained hard to become a good fighter. After about a year, he was re-assigned to Squad 14, and has been working hard ever since. Being the youngest and weakest of them, he struggles to keep up with them, and strives to impress them, showing that he can be as good as them.
After the 'liberation', he decided to volunteer stay in the Squad. He was 'awarded' the place of Lieutenant, and works hard to achieve many goals in his life, such as getting to know his captain and the other shinigami better, to work with his zanpakuto to achieve their full potential, and to make up for his uselessness in all his years in the Squad when he was acting like a goofball for a large amount of the time.
Additional Info: He used to be, and still is, friendly and likes to get on with people. He used to sometimes acts like a little kid, but ever since the death of the old lieutenant, he has matured and always tries his best.
