Atsutane and his squad of three stepped out of the portal. He felt the cool air flow through his hair. The sun was beginning to set as he looked across the Rivers horizon. He quickly snapped into focus and began to rush forward. "let's go" he said gripping his zapakuto's sheath as he ran.

Matsuda and the rest followed quickly behind. Matsuda flipped open his locator which resembled a phone. "It's coming from a couple miles down the river bank near a abandoned factory" said Matsuda as he caught up to Atsutane

"Foolish shinigami!" The hollow screamed in a very loud high pitched voice. It turned its body to face the four assailants and raised up its forearms revealing the shape and form of its body. It could best be described as a mantis of sorts, but instead of six legs it had twelve, eight in the back and four sickle shaped arms in the front, lined with razor sharp edges and nasty gnarled spikes. As it turned it could be observed that on one of its forearms there hung the soul of a human, impaled grotesquely on the rear forearm on the Mantis' left side. Its dome shaped eyes began to glow red as it leaned in and devoured the soul. As it finished it gave off a rather terrifying amount of reiatsu revealing that this was no ordinary hollow. This was a Menos Grande, second class to boot! The Adjuchas screeched and rushed forward to attack the shinigami called Shino. It could sense that he was the most frightened at the moment and that would be used to its advantage. Two of its arms slashed down at Shino as the other two sat in defensive positions. Meanwhile a terrible red glow could be seen rising inside its mouth...

Matsuda had no time to react and was hit in the back hard as he attempted to roll away. His back now covered with blood. He quickly dashed away from the ghostly hollow to avoid anymore attacks. He knelt to the ground from his recent wound.

Quickly, Shino grabbed his Zanpakuto's hilt. "s**t! I'm not gonna make it" thought Shino as he pulled the blade from it's sheath

HIKARI SHIRO KAZE!! Said Atsutane quickly as the attack flew towards the Adjuchas's two attacking arms, The blast cut through the beast's arms and created a large cut in the ground leading to Atsutane.

RYOJI!! yelled Shino as Atsutane only moved his eyes toward Shino, The pupils now flashed white as from his lips he said"Ban-".

The Cero blast covered Atsutane from view and crumbled the ground around him. "KAI!!" said Atsutane's voice from the red blast aura, that now quickly dissapated revealing a large ball of white feathers. He unfurled his wings revealing the now Ban-kai form of Atsutane's Zanpakuto. He was not seriously injured from the Cero but did sustain a gash to the left-side of his forehead and a cut on his right forearm. His eyes glowed white as Atsutane glared at the Mantis who now descended upon him claws ready to strike.

As his attack failed and was violently counter attacked, the mantis twisted its body as the blade pieced his stomach. When Atsutane pulled his zanpakuto out it indeed caused some serious damage, but because the hollow was able to roll before the attack was complete the damage sustained wasn't as bad as it could have been. His arms, however, had once again been severed. As he landed a grim screeching laughter could be heard and his arms and stomach began to reform. The arms were yet again just a little smaller than before, but the stomach grew back in the form of a protruding globulant cyst. It seemed that bodily injuries were not healed as easily as those of the appendages. The Adjuchas began to charge another blast from its mouth, but instead of fully charging a cero he decided to only charge a bala blast. He fired it then quickly charged and fired another one at Atsutane. The first was aimed directly for him, but the second was aimed a little off to his left just in case he decided to dodge in that direction.

((I need to take control of the Mantis again, cuz I want to kill him with this attack, I don't think RuIe 34 is gonna post for a while so you could take his character if you want))

The Mantis Hollow screamed a retched howl as it's body was torn from the now massive amount of shards that lay in it's skin. "EXPLODE!" yelled Atsutane as the shards responded and exploded destroying the Mantis's body. The Mantis's yell slowly dissapeared along wih it's body as it became dust which scattered into the wind. Atsutane flew back down, He turned to see Matsuda in the heat of combat.

Matsuda on the other hand was having a hard time with the Specter Hollow, the beast would constently fade away when he struck at him and reappear behind Matsuda luckily he had enough strength to constently defend or roll away from the attack. But everytime Matsuda evaded The Specter would only use more speed to catch up with him.
