Maddening Sword's sword is a light based zanpakuto able to create doppelgangers of whatever he desires.
In it's sealed form the Zanpakuto is an odachi. The blade itself is black with the guard being round and fashioned in the shape of a yin yang. In shikai form the sword transform to a dowsing chain. The chain, which is of a shiny white color, wraps around Maddening’s arms while the pendulum head it's self is a jet black kunai. In bankai, his zanpakuto transforms into fine crystal dust that creates a heavy fog 500 yards around him. The dust is so fine that it’s invisible and it appears as if all Maddening has done is make himself vulnerable. However, the crystal is breathed in by both him and enemy. It takes a while before signs start to show that the crystal is slowly cutting away at the enemies lungs. So, the crystal takes the light around it and bends to create any illusion/doppelganger he deems so. He can create places, people, fears, etc.
Yin and yang is his zanpakutos spirit. They first show themselves through physical changes and then in bankai they show themselves through who dies first. The bankai is meant to kill and will not return to it's a original state until the enemy or Maddening has died. For this reason he wears a white mask to withstand the crystal in the air. Though the crystal is fine enough to pass through his mask, not all of it is broken evenly, allowing him at least several more seconds of life.
Personal Abilities:
-Kidou mastery especially in binding spells (earned him the nickname "Iron Chain").
-Flash step mastery.
-Incredible brute strength.
-Expert analysis and highly intelligent.
Character Bio:
Kuruoshiike Hannin, real name Kenji Kawasaka, grew up in a noble house. He had a rather privileged life until he began to develop his schizophrenia at a young age. He was eventually kicked from his nobility and shunned for being different. He lived in Rukongai for a long time suffering until he was discovered by Urahara(while as a captain) one day. From there, Urahara and him formed a father-son bond. Urahara cured him of his schizophrenia through a special medicine. It was him who encouraged him to join soul society when he was stable in his later life and he eventually rose to the ranks of being an original captain. (He was the 10th Squad Captian.)
However, after Urahara’s became exiled to the real world he went under extreme depression. He refused to take his medication and eventually lost to his disease. The disease, he discovered, was the result of having two zanpakuto spirits occupying him; furthermore, two extreme spirits in which one was pure good and one pure evil; Yin and yang, always coexisting and always separate from one another.
He earned the name of Maddening Sword Criminal because shortly after Urahara left him he lost to Yin which took over his mind. He went on a killing rampage and killed his entire squad and several others. He was soon found to be executed but escaped in exile. Now, he is back in Soul Society to make them pay for not understanding his disease and the fact that he can’t control his zanpakutos power.

His mood depends on the state of his zanpakuto:
Sealed = yin/yang (50/50 to be calm/crazy)
Shikai= yin (crazy, insane)
Bankai = yang (calm, collective)
Pic/Description:
Maddening Sword Criminal is a tall (6’5), muscular man. His eyes are grey and his hair (slightly above ear length) is an even mixture of black and white. He has a square jaw with stubble. His skin is of a slightly olive tone and he has a tan complexion. He wears a normal shinigami outfit. He still maintains his haori, however it is reverse in color, being primarily black with white markings. The kanji for 10, 十, is replaced by the kanji for accept, 受.

I think the bankai is a bit overpowered. Perhaps if you didn't make the dust cloud invisible, so Hanin would have to work to keep his enemy inside it so they don't escape. Otherwise it seems like an auto-kill considering they're already being slowly eaten away from the inside and without them even knowing about it, there's no way to defend against it.

I couldn't really think of anything else. >__> 'Sides, his bankai will be used in Unohana, no one else really. Just his shikai will be used.
