Details: Formerly lead by Kaname Tousen, the 9th Squad has been without a Captain since his defection. Shocked and weakened without their physical and spiritual leader, the duties of the Captain have temporarily been handed over to Vice-Captain Hisagi. Though he has not yet ascended to the rank officially, the other officers in the Gotei 13 remain impressed with his work, and members of the 9th Squad whisper of his adequacy to fill the position after holding the Division together following the loss of Captain Tousen.

Vice-Captain: Shuhei Hisagi
Details: Honorable and just, Shuhei Hisagi seems to be the polar opposite of his tattooed and rugged appearance. Dedicating his life to protecting those who are in need and following the path of justice, he was hit hard by the loss of his Captain to the defection, but managed to valiantly fill the vacancy left in his absence and keep the 9th Squad together. With a complex past dotted with tragedy, however, he often feels overwhelmed with his current position. He seeks to defeat his former Captain and open his eyes to his mistakes, one day returning him to the side of Soul Society.

-All Mission Reports are turned in to Vice-Captain Hisagi here in Squad 9. After successful completion of a mission, the report must be filled out (using the format below) and handed to him personally in order to have it filed, and to receive your reward.
