Captain: Kyouraku Shunsui
Details: Together with Jushiro Ukitake, Kyouraku Shunsui was one of the first two Captains to ever emerge from the Shinigami Academy founded by Head Captain Genryuusai Yamamoto. Unlike his more serious friend, however, he is incredibly laid back and even a tad perverted. Preferring a good bottle of sake to training or paperwork, he can often be found shirking his duties and relaxing. Despite his nature, however, it is said that he and Ukitake wield powers greater than those of any other generation, young or old, and are the owners of Soul Society's only two dual-release (two-sworded) Zanpaktou.

Vice-Captain: Nanao Ise
Details: Young, intelligent, and capable, Nanao is the polar opposite of her deviant Captain. Vice-Chairwoman of the SWA, Nanao is a strong advocate for the rights of female shinigami in Soul Society, and will not hesitate to use the large tome she carries with her to beat sense into her Captain when he acts out of line. A notably skilled support and Kido specialist, she is very loyal to her Captain despite his faults.
