Captain: Retsu Unohana
Details: The second oldest of all the Captains beneath Head Captain Yamamoto, many of the younger shinigami view Retsu Unohana as the Mother of the 13 Protection Squads, or at least a mother-like figure. Serving for centuries as the Head of the 4th Squad R&R Divisions, she is not only incredibly adept at saving lives, but can render even the most intimidating of shinigami silent and motionless with a single glare.

Vice-Captain: Isane Kotetsu
Details: The older sister of 13th Squad 3rd Seat Kiyone Kotetsu, Isane is another very adept healer under Captain Unohana. Her skills stretch beyond healing, however, as she is also quite good at support skills and other various abilities such as tracking and communication via Kido. Isane is very close with her Captain, and often goes to her to speak about her wild (and often comically strange) nightmares.
