Details: The oldest and greatest of the Captains of the 13 Protection Squads, founder of the Shinigami Academy, and wielder of the oldest and strongest fire-based Zanpaktou in existence, there are none who are more feared and respected on the field of battle than Head Captain Yamamoto. Formerly the teacher of both Captain Jushiro Ukitake and Captain Kyouraku Shunsui, he instilled in them the strength and will to always do right and serve justice. Wise and just, he serves the law unto whatever end, and will reduce to ash all who break them.

Vice-Captain: Chojiro Sasakibe

Details: One of the least visible and most ambiguous of the Vice-Captains of Soul Society, Sasakibe rarely is seen in combat and can almost always be found tending to his Captain's needs. Older than many of the other Vice-Captains, one would imagine his skills to be formidable, though he has not proven that to be the case in some time.
