A large forest sitting ominously beneath the sands of Hueco Mundo which serves as a home for Menos Grande hollows of all levels, and a buffer between the rest of the underworld and the dome of Las Noches where Sosuke Aizen and his armies reside. It is a dark and dangerous place, where few who venture ever escape.
Several years ago a platoon of shinigami lead by a young warrior named Ashido pursued a hollow into the Menos Forest and were subsequently eliminated, save for the commander himself. It is said that if one were to survive there long enough, they may yet find that man alive somewhere in the forest.
