The hill that overlooks Soul Society. High profile executions take place here, and it is used as a general meeting place during emergency or if any other place isn't available.

At last, the old man landed outside, high up atop Sokyoku Hill. He stepped through his bright white portal and walked forward several steps before turning around to wait for those that would follow to come through. He folded his arms as he stood there and took a nice slow breath of fresh air. Even just that short time in the Nest was enough to make him gag.

Kango was the first to arrive on the other side, given that he was the first to enter after their savior. He landed on the outside and immediately dropped to the ground on his hands and knees. He wasn't tired or injured, he just couldn't wait to feel the dirt on his hands again. He stood up and stretched himself out, taking several deep breaths quickly and letting them out just as fast. He was free! He didn't care about the shackle he wore. As long as he complied it wouldn't hinder him at all, so why would he? Now that he was out he was able to let his reiatsu flare up, but then he realized that he still didn't have his zanpakuto and drawing attention to their position would be a bad thing, so he paused and lowered his reiatsu again, then looked to the old man. "By the way, what should we call you? My name is Kangohei Iesu, but you can call me Kango."

Tsubaki gritted her teeth as the outsider twisted the sharpened rock from her hand, a bit humiliated at her easy defeat. But, her concerns were soon sated as the orb the man held brightened and grew, becoming a portal to the outside. Kango was first through it, but Tsubaki was closest and only hesitated for a moment before stepping through and landing on the rough, rocky surface of Sokyoku Hill. It seemed almost unreal, that she would finally be free. Already she felt her former strength start to return to her now that she was outside the bounds of the seki seki stone, but it would be a while before it returned in full.

Several intellgent looking men stepped through the portal as well, breathing deep the fresh air as they looked around at the open sky. "Gentlemen," one of them said to the others, "it seems our mysterious benefactor has given us a prime opportunity to complete our research. I suggest we not waste it."

Tsubaki couldn't have cared less about that. Turning to the man who released them, she asked, "Where is Jigokunohi Kitsune? Where is my zanpakuto? Tell me where she is so I can return to the battlefield."

Naomi Shirakawa

The Blood Dripping Convict

Launching forward out of the portal Naomi nearly tripped over Kangohei, but instead leaped into the air above him and landed rather softly on the other side of him. A gust of win brushed across the top of the plateau and brought dust and air running through her hair and across her skin. It felt amazing. She loosened her robes a bit so even they were caught by the breeze and sent billowing about her. It was so different from the stagnant air of the Nest.

Within seconds Naomi could feel her reiatsu spreading out from her core and growing in attempts to reach its heights. Just like a flower trying to reach the sun it grew and blossomed into its more natural form. It all felt so amazing and she couldn't help but laugh as she spun around in the middle of the open plateau. All that she needed now was her Zanpakuto. She heard Tsubaki asking about it as the others began to exit the portal. Naomi turned her gaze to the man responsible for their escape and awaited his reply.

Once they knew where their Zanpakuto Naomi was sure there would be a made rush to that location by all those present. That meant that fighting might break out even before she was able to grasp the handle of her blade once more. She would have to be careful and rely on the distractions caused by her fellow inmates. If anything she could always use some good old fashion 'lady in distress' method to avoid suspicion if she were to be found.

Calmly and in a mature way he exited the portal, and stared almost in awe of the world. He was home again. No longer bound by the seki seki stone. No longer forced to see blackness. Light, pure glorious light. "I am coming... Fulgora. I am ready for you..." He silently whispered, almost a tear forming in his eyes. He walked in front of the large group, far ahead. He placed his hand on the ground, feeling it. It was not real. To Aeldevera it couldn't be. A dream, reality truly unwoven. For centuries, all he recalled seeing were four walls. The voices he had heard, were his fellow inmates. But now, he would hear so much more. He could feel his reiatsu return, and he knew he now had access to kidou. "Well then, let's get this party started!" He yelled, raising his hands into the air, firmly stretching. To everyone who had known Aeldevera, to see him in this change of state from optimistic to actually content and normal. It would stand as a shock to them.

The old man waited for the everyone to exit before answering any questions. He didn't like to repeat himself, so he really only wanted to say it once. Once Aeldevera was through he spoke up. "My name us Nobuo. Nobuo Kyouraku of the Noble House Kyouraku. I have freed you because there has been a change in regime. Genryusai Shigekuni-Yamamoto was killed in combat 50 years ago by the current Soutaichou, Ikkimaru Shurajou, former Captain of the 14th Squad. Ikkimaru's dream was to strip the Noble Houses of power and spread our wealth amongst those who did not earn it. I have freed you because I want you, who have motive, to topple this new regime and restore this world to the way it once was where there was a system of merit." The old man's voice resounded through the air crisply as he gazed at those who exited the portal. Weaker prisoners were still flooding out, they would serve their purposes. "Your treasured weapons are stored at the Second Division Headquarters. I can't get you any closer there without raising any alarms, you will have to infiltrate it on your own. When you get close to the building containing your sword you will sense it nearby. Find it and claim your revenge. Now go!"

Kango cocked an eyebrow at Aeldevera's actions. It was interesting how freedom could change a man. Kango honestly wanted to be friends with everyone who escaped. Afterall, they were all really the only shinigami that really knew each other. Kango wasn't sure who he'd know now, and even if he found them they would be his enemy. He listened to Nobuo speak and affirmed again that they were not out of the woods yet. Oh how he longed to hold Chinseizai in his hands again. Soon. He listened to the information Nobuo gave them on where to find their weapons. Kango couldn't help but laugh at the weaker fodder that cheered and suddenly took off in the direction of the Second Division. They had no idea what awaited them and were just rushing right off. No matter. Their deaths would serve a purpose. "Come on Naomi, let's go." He said with a smile before turning to vanish in shunpo. While he hadn't used it in nearly 1000 years it came back to him quickly. He'd be outside the Second in no time.

Naomi Shirakawa

The Blood Dripping Convict

Naomi listened to what the man had to say. It was a surprise to hear that he was from one of the four noble houses. It was also interesting to learn a bit of recent history. Truthfully, Naomi didn't care as to why or what. As long as she was free she would fight as much as possible with what remaining life she had. If it fit this man's needs then so be it, but her needs came first.

Even if she wanted to fight and bring war to Soul Society she did want to live so that it would last as long as possible. It would be best to keep with Kangohei and the other higher level Shinigami if she wanted that. Then, Naomi heard her name and looked back to Kangohei. He was leaving already? And he wanted her to keep up. As he launched into a Shunpo she cursed and launched off as well in a pathetic attempt to keep u with his speed, "Kangohei, wait! You know I'm not as fast as you!" There was little chance of her keeping up with him unless he gave her some help.

Breathing Fresh Air at Last
Shinku Hikage: Treading on the Sacrid Hill

As soon as Shinku stepped out of the portal he breathed in deeply. The fresh air entering his lungs felt like a hundred years of dust being brushed away. The cleansing breeze made him feel, for a moment, at peace. He looked up at the bright shining sun, having to shield his eyes from the incredible glare of the sunlight. All like a dream. Was it truly possible that he was using his own eyes to see once again? He looked back around at the rest of the group as they had similar reactions to the open sky. He looked down at his own arm. It glowed for a moment. It wasn't just the open air he felt. He felt the boundless reiatsu in the air and the world flowing into him, sating a hunger left starved for fifty years. He grinned. They were free... He was free... And now he could destroy it all. There were just a few things to take care of before he did. He looked up at the old man as he made his announcement. He walked forwards a little, listening in. He wanted to topple the new regime... There was a new one? He had no idea. If Yamamoto was dead... Then there was one less person he had to take revenge on. Too bad. There were plenty of others on his little list.

It didn't matter who was in charge, they had all left him there to rot, so their fate would be no different than the ones who came before them. He turned in the direction of the second division that everyone seemed to be running off to. Yes... He needed his sword, as well. Once he had Kyuusaisha back, then he could complete his purpose, and exact his vengeance. Only that sword could help him. It was as much a part of his being as his own heart. Being separated from it did not kill him, but it was unbearable. He followed after everyone else, stretching his legs and seeing how much speed he had lost because of a lack of use. He stumbled slightly at first, still not fully used to walking, but he remembered quickly, and broke into a run, then a sprint, then a shunpo powered charge. He grinned maniacally as he caught up to the leaders. He wasn't going to let them have all the fun...

Aeldevera quickly shunpoed behind the large mass charging to second division. His speed would have been amongst the fastest in Soul Society. He would allow their stupidity to fall into his advantage in undertaking his zanpakuto. The group of prisoners, of lower ranks would already charge into the second squad HQ. They were like mad animals vying on whatever means possible to get to their zanpakutos. Without a doubt, the alarms would be started. You could already see the squad members unleashing their zanpakutos and attempting to restrict the prisoners with bakudou. Aeldevera stood behind a wall, carefully studying the miniature battle occurring. Using this as a bit of an invisibility shield, he sensed for his own zanpakuto, which was kept within a far armory to the northern part of the entirety of the area. He shunpoed and swiftly moved through. "Way of binding No. 26 Kyakko!" He then hid his reiatsu and basically his existence. He moved towards the building holding his zanpakuto.

Kihei took a deep breath, he was preparing to relax for a moment, until he sensed everyone quickly leaving the hill. Raising his hands he could feel the warmth of the sun on his back and his power becoming greater. He quickly lowered his reiatsu not wanting to drag attention to himself, Kihei cleared his mind and felt for Kousenkiyos presence. He quickly jumped off the hill and shunpoed towards the area where he could feel his zanpakutos energy.A mere wall stood before him, taking a deep breath Kihei raised his hand and pointed his index finger towards the wall of the building standing before him " Hadou 4! Byakurai!"a blast of explosive energy emerged from Kiheis finger destroying the wall that was once there. Opening his mind, sensing for any reiatsu he felt some down the gaping hallway to his right. Smiling to himself Kihei walked slowly down the room that held his zanpakuto, with his hands in his pockets.

Within the emptiness of the Sokyouku Hill, two black star-filled portals opened up, one regurgitated Fuma, the other Maedel. Maede landed on his feet, but he didn't wait to see if Fuma did the same. At once he spun and faced the brute and grinned in anticipation for the intensity of the coming battle. Now Soen's opponent was his and his alone, no one to bother him from beating this guy to the ground whatsoever. "Alright, no one to interrupt, nice wide space... let's rock!" he yelled as he leaped upwards into the air raising KesshouHoshi back and then swinging. "TAKE THIS!!" at once, a large thick wave barrage of what appeared to be small stars flew out of the starry blade and right down at Fuma; they would explode on contact with the ground or with Fuma itself setting whatever they hit on fire.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 09, 2009 2:31 pm

Fuma was mid-kick when he suddenly felt Maedel shoulder check him out of the vicinity of Soen, and even out of the battlefield! When the portal sucked him in he couldn't help but grin. How incredible! This was certainly to Fuma's liking. Someone wanted to mix things up so bad that they whisked him away just like that! How deliciously chaotic. Fuma would be sure to have fun with this one. As soon as he landed on the Hill he quickly took in his surroundings, much like what Maedel did, and turned to face his new opponent. As soon as Maedel leapt into the air and swung his sword Fuma vanished entirely both from sight and from any reiatsu senses. The stars would crash down and burn the area around where he was standing, but he would suddenly reappear to Maedel's left as he held out his hand. Suddenly a massive rod of light would appear in front of him and he'd leap up even higher than Maedel was able to jump and he grabbed the rod of light and pulled a smaller rod from it and hurled it at Maedel. He quickly proceded to form 99 more rods of light and began to sling them at the Captain. The unspoken Bakudou number 62 would have the same power and force as if the phrase "Bakudou number 62, One Hundred Rail Fence" had been spoken by a Shinigami Captain. Fuma's aim was to pierce and pin Maedel's body to the ground, or at least trap him between rods.

Maedel's eyes widened somewhat behind his goggles as he appeared on his left and conjured up some light rod. Maedel instantly recognized this spell as Bakudo 62. This guy can use spells even without saying the name!? Huh! Not bad! without any further delay as he landed in the air using the reiatsu in his feet, he slid gracefully to the side, evading the first rod and then launching himself right at Fuma as more rods flew at him. A few of the rods had managed to nick his haori just slightly as he dodge left and right with exquisite grace, with his sword held in the right hand while he held nothing in his left. "Hado 75... Grace of a Thousand Roses!" he chanted as under-his-breath as he possibly could as the next barrage came right at him, and then spinning once the violet energy orb that formed in his hand was thrown right at Fuma, forming into a rose and then shattering into many small yet devastating spears of violet energy which - considering their level - would pierce right through Fuma's rods and fly at him without delay.

Maedel wasn't intending to stop there, after the hado was cast, he thrust his sword right into the air, where it vanished as if dipped into a pool of water. "HOSHI ARASHI!!!" and then with a loud ringing noise two starry portals appeared behind and above Fuma, spewing forth a barrage of basketball sized stars which were much bigger than the stars launched at him before.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 09, 2009 5:02 pm

As soon as Fuma saw the purple orb of energy flying toward him he immediately shot his arm down and latched his claws into the ground to yank himself down out of the way quickly. The stars from Maedel's portal shot past where he was and missed him, but the violet energy flying at him would hone in on him until he blocked it with something. Given that they were weakened by the rods of light they had to crash through Fuma knew he could block them manually, and so he latched his other clawed hand into the ground and proceeded to lift a rather large hunk of rock into the air and shielded his body with it. While it would have been easy to block the spell with a bakudou, he'd rather save his energy for something a little more productive. Like this. "Hiryūgeki Zoku Shinten Raihō." He said with a smirk as he thrust his palm upward to send an absolutely massive blast of electrical energy straight for Maedel. With speaking the spell's name it would be as if a Shinigami Captain had spoken the entire incantation of the level 88 Hadou spell. Any stars that were still headed for him would get caught up in the attack and detonate instantly in the enromous wave of kidou.

Maedel's eyes widened when he saw the massive blast of lightning coming right at him. "s**t...!!" concentrating at once, the portals aiming at Fuma soon closed and a new portal opened where KesshouHoshi's blade was stabbed into and Maedel was immediately sucked into it. If Fuma were to forget this ability, then it perhaps it would appear to him that the spell he unleashed was far too much for Maedel and that it completely incinerated him or something. But then again, since it was lightning maybe that wasn't the case.

Either way, it wasn't the case, for just behind Fuma a starry portal opened and out came Maedel, descending downwards at him. "SURPRISE!!!" he yelled out as he slashed downwards, hoping to land a agonizing burning blow down Fuma's back. But Maedel didn't stop there, he slashed upwards and then began a melee assault with his blade, slashing gracefully left and right. Every time it would hit Fuma it would inflict a burning gash, every time Fuma repelled it, it would cause a spark to ignite. It really was a great sight, the way Maedel danced so swoftly and gracefully with the starry sword with the trail of stardust.
