This is where those with enough wealth live. The standard of living is far greater than that of the levels below. Those who holds seats in politics, the arts, military, as well as many other pretigious pursuits are those that live here.

Jan looked out over Coruscant. The falling sun reflected off the buildings. A smile tugged at her lips and she slowly blinked once. It was pretty. But not as pretty as forests. She chuckled but still watched. She reached out with the force, feeling for anything she needed to keep away. Nothing yet.

Jan's eyes snapped open when she felt a dark force. It was close by too. She started to run toward the source of the disturbance. She pulled out her lightsaber and ignited it, slicing down on the baster of the criminal when she was close enough. He leapt back in surprise. She gave a quick glance toward the victim. It was a middle-age man. Scared stiff.
"Leave this man alone!" She screamed at the attacker.
The attacker turned and started to flee. She couldn't left him go. She dart forward and thrust her saber in front of him, making his skid to a stop. He was arrested not a moment later. Before the victim could thank her or anyone say anything to her, she disappeared. Jan didn't like being spoken to much unless it was someone she knew well or a fellow jedi.

"Hello Jan." Came a cold voice behind her.
"Greetings Marc." She replied.
She turned to face the bounty hunter. He was grinning and had his hand held out. She shook her head and his arm feel back to his side.
"Picky today aren't we." He said, folding his arms across his chest.
"No. Not at all." She shook her head. "What do you want?"
"I simply wanted to say hello." Marc replied.
"I should arrest you right now." Jan snapped.
"But you wouldn't. Because that would just be rude." He grinned as he said this.
Jan rolled her eyes, knowing how he felt.
"Get away from me. Your sister would be happy if I arrested you and she would make sure you never saw the light of day again."
"No she wouldn't. She isn't like that." Marc replied. "In fact, I could help you all."
"You could jump off a building. That's how you could help." Jan snapped. "Get out of here!"
Marc shrugged and started to walk away.
"I'll be visiting again soon. But I might not be like I am today." He replied. "I might be here to kill you."

Obister calmly walked along the quiet streets of the Upper Levels. He whistled lightly as he watched the sun going down, and the sky darkening. As he walked, he glanced at a seemingly familiar figure, not too far away. It was a man in rusty armor, and he was walking away from another familiar figure. He had remembered her from about three or four years ago back at the Jedi Temple.
What was her name again? I recognize her from the days back in the Temple. Hmm.
He pondered for a moment as he continued to silently watch the man walk away from the woman.

Jan sighed and looked around. She saw Obister. She waved. Why though? Her arm dropped down to her side and she sighed.
"Oh! i know where I've seen him. That must be Obister." She concluded.
She started to walk toward him.
"Obister, right?" She asked.

Obister fell silent for a moment, as he was lost in thought. For a moment he let his mind drift off to thoughts about a few years back. He looked in his mind through the crowd of Jedi walking along, attempting to match names to each face he thought of.
Was it Jen? I know her, I just can't seem to... Ah, right. Now I remember.
"Ah, yes, it is. Jan was your name, right? From the Jedi Temple?" Obister held his hand out.

He stepped back slightly and crossed his arms across his chest. He smiled lightly.
"I heard that you had become the Grand Master at the Coruscant Temple while I was away. How do things go with the Jedi?"
His smile slightly faded as he continued to talk.
"And... Things are going... Same as always. The galaxy is still what it was years ago, and I'm afraid it could be getting worse. I get the feelings that the dark side is growing with each passing day."

"Ah, no. I was not made the Grand Master. Eva Pheonix was." Jan corrected him. "We are... tense. Waiting for something to happen."
She nodded.
"Yes. We all sense it. Hopefully, the battle will e easily won." She said. "Bt, you never know. Maybe it wont come at all."

"Oh, forgive my mistake ((Oops XD)). I haven't exactly seen many days where the Jedi have not been tense. Not since the thousand years of war that let up less than a decade ago. Actually, the galaxy's been seemingly tense. Wish that things would let up. Huh."
He looked around, observing how the many citizens of the Upper Levels were scurrying around, slowly disappearing as night neared.
"If this battle does come, then I don't believe it will be so easy. I don't think Coruscant is in such of a good shape. You've been to the lower parts a couple times, right?"

Jan shook her head.
"Not lately. Eva may have but not me." She said. "Her family lives down there. Except for her and her brother."
She frowned.
"Why? Something getting worse?"

"Hm, if her family lives anywhere lower than the Lower Levels, I would advise her to get her family to move. The Undercity is not a place to be. Whatever remnants of the Sith..."
He stopped and leaned in slightly closer and lowered his voice.
"We're being watched. Don't try to look, it'll give off too much of a notice to whoever is watching us."
He moved his head slightly, attempting to glance at the surroundings.

She nodded.
"Of course. we will see what we can do. I'll let the others know." Jan quietly replied. "We'll be more careful."

"Yes..."
He stepped to her side and dug into his coat pocket. He took out a round, shiny object. He took her hand and gently placed it in her palm.
"I'll contact you through this some time. If you ever need to reach me for whatever reason, whether it be help or just to attempt to learn more about the situation, just open it."
Obister slowly walked away, but stopped a few inches away, and turned around to say, "And tell the council that they should start guarding the Senator of Corellia."
