I'm sort of bothered now that I've played through Nintendogs with my dog Lucy for a good 4 months now. I've entered a couple of frisbee contests and won, of course, and I think Lucy is really good at frisbee.
But.....the game says I need to do more. Whenever I go around talking to people with other dogs while walking Lucy around (this is computer people speaking, btw), they NAG me! Telling me to stop wasting my time doing less important things like homework and study for tests and start entering my dog in obedience trials and whatnot. And teach her more tricks. Oh, and what about spending more time with her.....like ALL DAY??!!
Face it, Nintendogs is just not as fun as when you first pick it up. It certainly becomes a virtual chore taking care of your dog just like in real life, but when you go so far as HAVING TO enter contests for money, instead of maybe getting a decent job or something, practically becoming your dog's slave instead of master, I start to have a feeling this game isn't for me.
Look, in a game like Nintendogs you should have the freedom to take care of your dog however you want, and I'm doing great at that, but the game expects too much out of me, that Lucy be good at EVERYTHING. And oh, something tells me you NEED to own more than just one dog too. Gah! LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU STUPID GAME!!!

If you think that's bad, I have like six damn dogs. I might trade it in. It kinda does annoy me. My poor puppies, they're famished and parched and dirty *feels sorry for them* But, my game doesn't have people bitching at me ^^

My poor puppies, they're famished and parched and dirty *feels sorry for them* But, my game doesn't have people bitching at me ^^ I wouldn't say the computer's bitching at me, more like doting, like your mother. Anyway 6 dogs??? I didn't know you kept THAT many! I thought the maximum was 3! You see though that's why I only stick with one (owning as much as you have would mean 6 times the food and water)

Yeah...Nintendogs was fun at first...but then it just became annoying...I'm gonna trade mine in...I havn't played it for like a month...I wish the dog's could die(I don't mean to be cruel but I wish it was more realistic in that sense)...but no...when I go and turn it back on...They will be just like normal...except kind of hungry and thirsty...

those computer people are mean. once, when i first got it, i diddnt know you had to pick up its poop, so i diddnt, and one of those computer persons called me an ingrate O.o i hate games that yell at me

The only things that you can do is shop, walk them, constests, bark mode (which doesn't even work that well), play with them and take care of them. It get boring after a while.

Well the only thing to have fun with it is to play with it and ignore the people yelling and u and think thoughts like "-u kicking the peoples nutz-"and something like that but the dogs are still cute. 4laugh
