About:

Roydon was raised in Namonuito, the son of a shipwright, and he met Arwen when they were both children, when her father's organization rescued him from the child slave traders. They met again several years later when Arwen visited the Southland for her aunt's wedding, and a romance was sparked between them. Five years later, he visited her at her home. There, he proposed, and they were married, and about a year after their marriage they returned to Namonuito, where Roydon still had his business.

Leyenda is a fun-loving girl with her mother's spirit. She readily admits to her mistakes, and never backs down from the consequences. Her bubbly exterior hides her deep emotions, and though most people believe she is reckless, she is actually quite thoughtful. She is loyal to the death, and stands up for what she believes in.

Celeb is a quiet boy, obedient to his parents, but most of all he worships his sister. He thinks everything through very carefully before he takes any action, or before he speaks, which causes some people to think he might be a bit slow. His intellect however is great, and he thirsts for knowledge.

About:

The Light Elves from the beginning were a proud race. In the beginning years, they cut themselves off from the Dark Elves, taking to themselves the western area of the Four Lands. But several millenniums later, they were split by yet another disagreement. A large number of the Light Elves left the Westland, taking ships and venturing out into the ocean.

Within a month, they set upon the island that they would soon call their home. There, they built a city, and a palace, and walls for protection. They befriended the rocs who lived in the cliffs, and learned to use them as steeds, creating a new section of their army: the Wing Riders.

The current king is King Aerennel. He is not often at his palace: he leads the war against the gnomes, the sub-dwarfs who dwell in the mountains that make up the better part of the island. In his place, his oldest son, Aethos, the First Sola (Crown Prince) watches over the kingdom.

The First Sola has led a troubled life: at only ten years old, he learned the importance of protecting those under his wing, when the gnomes successfully breached the palace walls and his brother, Aeolus, was killed. As the gnome made its way to the room where his infant sister, Aerin, slept, Aethos attacked it from behind and killed it. Thirty years later, the First Sol had her opportunity to return the favour: when the great dragon, Laur, attacked, she saved her brother from the dragon's fangs. When she was mortally wounded in the process, Aethos cared for her, but despite his best efforts, she continued to slowly slip away from him. When a strange man named Caranthir appeared and promised to save Aerin's life, Aethos agreed readily - though it meant that he would likely never see his sister again. The stranger left with her, and Aethos returned to his position as First Sola. He was given command of his own band of Wing Riders, and has since been leading the fight against the gnomes from within the palace walls.

Personality: Nonchalant, down-to-earth, no-nonsense type of person; can be hard to get along with, but loyal to the death
Powers: No magic of her own, but she has bonded with a Volcano Dragon, who can become part of her and give her extra senses of sight (seeing in the dark, thermal sight, etc) as well as make her impervious to both heat and cold
Appearance: Kyrie looks more like her human mother than her dark elven father: her ears are only slightly pointed, mostly round, and though her facial features are very fine, she is not so fine as the elves. She keeps her black hair cut very short and wears nothing but a skimpy leather top and skirt, unless she is trying to blend, when she wears a cloak over everything. She also wears a myriad of weapons.

History: Kyrie was born to a human mother and dark elven father in Caras Galadhon. She has an older brother, Khetal. When Kyrie was 11 years old, her family decided to visit Poleria and Dolerum, the countries where her parents were born. Unbeknownst to them at the time, the two countries were at war, and the family was taken captive. Kyrie's parents were killed on the spot, and she and Khetal were kept prisoners for many years. Kyrie suffered every malady imaginable, including being used as a test subject for a biological weapon, and eventually was rescued by a band of dark elves who mistook her for one of their own. When they discovered that she was not fully elven, they sent her to Jielam, country of the White Elves, to be trained. There, Kyrie was again abused, this time by her trainer. When she felt herself sufficiently trained in weaponry, she killed him and escaped the country, back to Dolerum. She was adopted by a healer and her family, and stayed there for a few years. Finally, she decided to go and find out what happened to her brother. She found him alive and well, living in Poleria, working at the same facility where she had been a test subject, and she rescued him from there. He joined her in Dolerum with her adopted family. However, she had rediscovered her traveling spirit, and she found she could not long stay in one place. She found a Volcano Dragon while traveling through Wolsic, who eventually bonded to her. Circumstance found her at a healer's house in Shiezin, country of the Fire Elves, and eventually the two were married. She however has continued her life as a traveler, saving anyone she comes across who might need it, while he has remained in Shiezin, healing people there. Both of them look at their time of separation as something that makes their time together so much better.
