Weapon: Zanpakuto, Kyuusaisha. Unreleased, this blade takes the form of an extremely long, three meters from tip to pommel, katana. The blade curves slightly at the tip, while remaining mostly straight down the rest of the blade. The hilt and the handle make up a total of thirty-five centimeters on the total length of the sword, made so long as to counterbalance the long blade. The guard is made up of a pair of small silver wings, folded with the tips pointed towards the back of the sword. The hilt is slightly curved and wrapped in cloth in two colours, blue over a white diamond pattern. The blade itself has a silvery blue sheen, and is quite beautiful. It has no sheathe and is simply strapped to his belt when he carries it.

Weapon Info/Abilities:
Shikai: Kyuusaisha is released by the command “Purify”. When released it takes the form a large, double edged broad sword, with the blade alone being one hundred thirty centimeters in length. The handle remains at thirty five centimeters, but it straight, cylindrical, and unwrapped exposing a metal handle with a crosshatch texture for grip. The handle is red in colour, but the blade maintains a blue, silvery sheen. There is no guard.

In its released state, Kyuusaisha provides a major boost to Shinku's natural ability to absorb Reiatsu, allowing him to absorb it at an even faster rate. Also, when he absorbs reiatsu it is now purified into a more basic form, eliminating any special properties and making it the same as his own. When it absorbs enough reiatsu, the blade gains a light blue aura around it, which continues to grow as it absorbs even more. This aura gives the blade a “shaving edge”, as the reiatsu rotates around the blade with a chainsaw like quality. This allows it to slice through kidou and other reiatsu based abilities without much difficulty, depending on the level of the spell, and the skill of the user. When the power absorbed by the blade reaches a certain strength, Shinku is able to create a long ranged attack called “Scattering wing”. It begins as many ethereal feathers begin to swirl, and then by slashing forwards, the feathers are launched forwards and multiply into thousands as the attack spreads out to hit a wide area in front of him. The feathers are akin to many small knives when they strike an opponent, cutting wherever they touch. They are made of pure reiatsu.

Bankai: Shoumei no Kyuusaisha, is the new name of Shinku's zanpaktou takes when in bankai. In this state, his sword vanishes completely, replaced instead by a light blue aura that surrounds his body, that grows stronger as he continues to absorb more power. This form shapes itself according to the level of Reiatsu he has absorbed, first taking the form of a pair of wings made of ethereal feathers that continue to grow larger. This form boosts Shinku's ability to absorb Reiatsu to extreme, making him able to absorb almost all Kidou based abilities almost instantly. Kidou that is level seventy or higher can still damage him before being absorbed, or take longer to absorb. If he absorbs too much power at once, it can damage his body and degrade it from the inside. He can use his aura to sustain flight and levitation in the air, no matter the environment.
He is able to manipulate this aura in a variety of ways when it takes the form of the ethereal feathers. He can now summon many thousands of them, depending on how much reiatsu he has absorbed. He can also control their paths to attack or defend him, as well as shape the feathers into various forms, such as a sword, or shield. His most powerful use of this is an ability he calls “Kanshou Enkou.” With this ability he forms a small ring and then sends it high up into the air. He syphons a part of his reiatsu absorbtion ability into this ring, so it will continue to absorb reiatsu from the air while he focuses on the fight at hand. This ring will grow in size as it absorbs reiatsu, much like his aura, but with a constant shape. At a critical moment in the fight, he can call back this power to either form an instant, powerful attack, or strong shield, or add it back into his stores of power in case he runs low.
The final ability of Shinku's bankai is a skill he calls “Shouten”, with which he can change his entire body into pure reiatsu. He can only perform this skill for a split second, or else his physical body would be unable to reform. However once in this state, he cannot be harmed, and can move almost instantly from one location to another. He can use this ability in quick succession, but doing so causes his body to progressively degrade. Using it more than six times in a row would cause irrepairable damage, and more than eight times in a row would be suicide. Given time to rest, he can use it again without risk of more damage, however any degradation he does suffer will not repair on its own and can get progressively worse.

Personal Abilities:
Shinku is capable of absorbing any free reiatsu in the air through his skin as a natural, passive ability that he has. Unlike other shinigami, this has nothing to do with his Soul Ribbon, and he absorbs reiatsu at a much faster rate than most shinigami, or even hollows. By focusing this power, he can absorb reiatsu from a direct source, in a smaller area, at a much faster rate. This allows him to be able to break down certain kidou spells, namely Bakudou, over time, as well as drain energy from other spiritual beings.
He also has excellent swordsmanship, with a style that favors speed over power. Even with the incredible reach of his blade, his sword arm is not slowed. He can slash many times within a couple of seconds using a flourishing style much like the way one would use a rapier. He rarely uses his sword with two hands in order to keep both speed and balance, jutting out the elbow of his free arm to counterbalance his sword arm. Because it is a heavier blade, when released, Shinku is much more likely to use two hands in order to make use of increased power.
A skill that was once neglected by him was his overwhelming ability in hand to hand combat. He is actually much more skilled with his fists and legs than with a sword. He once thought that the blade he held was his power, but he changed his opinion after learning his bankai and then being deprived of his sword entirely. With a lack of formal training in the martial arts, he instead uses a freestyle way of fighting, taking advantage of great maneuverability, agility, flexibility and being unpredictable. Coupled with an uncanny amount of strength for a shinigami of his build makes him dangerous, even unarmed.
His most practiced ability is his very own style of Shunpo. In addition to his shunpo, which has speed to rival and even exceed the speed of many other captains, Shinku can fuse his shunpo into his running. So instead of just increasing his speed in a short burst on a single step, he stretches out the power of his shunpo over several steps. This allows him to run at incredible speeds, without having to stop for any amount of time. This can last until he runs out of reiatsu, or fatigues himself too much.

Character Bio:
In the beginning, in the living realm, Shinku was just your average boy, living an average life. Or so it was up until his unfortunate death, that involved both disturbing and extraordinary circumstances. Shinku does not remember how he died, nor anything before. He had no name and was just another faceless soul when he arrived at Rukongai, with no name or identity to call his own. The only thing that followed him from the living realm was a seemingly irrational and extremely severe case of claustrophobia. He cannot stand small, enclosed spaces and will go into a total panic if ever placed in one.
Besides that, he was an extremely normal citizen of Rukongai as well. After wandering alone for many weeks, Shinku was taken in by his adoptive parents, who gave him a name and treated him as their own flesh and blood. He was elated not to have to be alone anymore. The thought of having someone who cared about him removed his timidity and allowed him to explore his world without fear. However that was not all good. Shinku got into as many fights as he could, purposely provoking larger children who bullied others. He came home every other day, bruised and bloodied, but with a huge grin on his face. That was because, though he did take hits, he never lost. But this aggressive behavior made it very difficult for him to make friends. It deeply confused him. He thought he was doing the right thing, by beating up the strong ones who thought themselves better than others. But the others were afraid of him, rejecting his vague sense of justice. His parents did not know what to do. They had a hard choice to make, and they finally made it. They told Shinku to go to the Shinigami accademy. He had the talent to be one, and there he could be fighting real enemies that deserved his 'justice'. They said to him; “Go. Become the strongest. And protect everyone weaker than you are.”
These words stuck with him, as he entered the academy. He found many strong people, and his aggressive pattern started all over again. They were more accepting of this behavior though. With daily practice and sparring he barely needed to start fights on his own. But one hot point became an issue with him. He had absolutely no talent in Kidou. No matter how he tried he could not master the skill. He stood to fail demon arts, and thus be unable to graduate the shinigami academy no matter how strong he was otherwise.
His fortunes changed when he met Ijiyuuin, and Asada. They were full fledged shinigami from the ninth, and though older than Shinku, they became his first real friends. It was during a hollow invasion, when all students were forced to sit tight and hide. Shinku wouldn't stand for it of course. So he slipped off when no one was looking and attempted to join the battle. Because of his inexperience he was nearly killed by the large and powerful hollows, but the two seated officers from the ninth arrived to save him from certain death.
Ijiyuuin and Asada were skeptical of Shinku at first, but they pulled a few strings and had Shinku officially inducted to the ninth division as a full fledged shinigami of the ninth, with the confidence of Kaname Tousen, captain at the time.
In the ninth squad, Shinku gained more friends. He was still aggressive and violent, but he was learning to curb that aggression under the tutelage of the calm minded captain Tousen. Shinku's power grew rapidly as he learned not to simply throw it about, but shape it and use it. He gained his Shikai, and with it earned a place as a seated officer. He eventually surpassed Ijiyuuin and Asada, and climbed the ranks until he was poised to take even the title of Lieutenant away from Hisagi. But no one expected him to take such a leap in power. Hisagi could not be beaten easily. So everyone was quite shocked when he suddenly gained his Bankai. He had only trained for one week, a week that very nearly destroyed him. He was not satisfied with taking ten years to gain it, he was far too impatient. Through an incredible force of will, he drew out the spirit of his sword and battled it. He emerged triumphant, and showed his allies in the ninth the moment he recovered. There was a grand celebration in his honor, within the squad, and Shinku basked in satisfaction for the following two weeks.
But his happiness ended abruptly. Someone feared him, they must have. Why else would they do it? Shinku's growth in power represented a threat that they couldn't ignore. Shinku still does not know who gave the order... But during the night, the second squad forced their way into his room and captured him. He was dragged off to the maggots nest without any explanation, trial, or even a word. He was stripped of his sword, his rank, and thrown in with the others like a common criminal. Yet he had done nothing wrong. Enraged, Shinku struck out. At first they were able to suppress him, but not for long. Within two weeks he was able to overpower the third seat of the second squad. The lieutenant fell just as easily, and finally captain Soifon had to step in. The risk of his escape was too great, so they forced him into a cell, bound him with Kidou. He was unable to move, unable to see. His worst fears had come true.
Alone and in the dark, Shinku went completely mad. At first he thought someone would come to rescue him. But the hours melted into days, weeks, years. He could not keep track of time. But they never came. He had no friends left. He was bound like this and remained so for the entire insurrection of the fourteenth squad, Aizen's betrayal, and the years following the consequences of both. He constantly struggled against his bonds, but he could not defeat them. Just when he thought all was lost, he heard a voice inside his head. It was the voice of his zanpaktou, telling him not to give in. How could she speak to him when he was parted so far from it? But besides her, there was another voice. A powerful voice that pierced the darkness in his mind. And it told him; “You are my child. The time of your destiny will come. When it comes, you shall gather all things to yourself and return to the place of your birth. By my side. In the realm of the Gods.”
It was then that he knew his purpose. When he was free, he would annihilate everyone. All the people who abandoned and betrayed him would pay dearly for their crime. He would crush, destroy, kill, and consume. Soul Society would be first. Then the realm of hollows, Hueco Mundo. And then the living realm. Everything must be put to rest.

Description: Shinku stands roughly 5' 9”, and has a lanky but muscular build. He has tall spikey, crimson red hair, that has grown wild since his imprisonment. His eyes match his hair, a crimson red colour that hides deep emotional bonds. He has grown to have a handsome face, but his skin is completely pale from being in the dark for so long. His skin appears soft, but his body is strong.

Appearance:
Zero's zanpaktou closely resembles a medieval long sword. The double edged blade is forty eight inches in length and three inches wide at the base, tapered to a point, with the hilt measuring ten inches, with the cross guard. The cross guard is shaped into a wide crescent moon, six inches wide, with the points facing the blade. The pommel is spherical and pointed with six, small rounded cones, giving it a spiked appearance. Ressureccion is activated by the call phrase "Glimmer".
Once Released, Zero is covered by thick white armor resembling medieval plate armor. The armor closely conforms to Zero's body, allowing the same mobility he would have without releasing. The shoulder armor is larger than normal armor would have. The helm is open faced and shaped like a dragon's skull, with four horns pointed horizontally off the back of the helm. There are no eye sockets and no teeth except for two large fangs that frame Zero's face. The gauntlets cover the entire forearm and most of the hand, but only covers his index finger with a pointed claw. The greaves resemble dragons feet, with claws and talons that have full mobility. The final feature of Zero's ressureccion is a large white sphere that is separate from the main body. It is three feet in diameter. It is capable of levitation. Attached to the sphere are six vaguely cone shaped objects. Each of them is approximately twenty inches long, six inches wide at the base, and two inches wide at the height. These are called his "Lances"
Abilities:
Levitacion: Before even being released, Zero's zanpaktou is capable of levitation. The sword can move indipendant of Zero's body, controlled by his mind. Through this ability, his sword can move just as fast as if he was swinging it with his own hand. This ability is shared by his Lances and the sphere in his ressureccion state, although the sphere cannot move as fast unless aided by at least two of the lances.
Vinculante Cuerda: Zero's shoulder plates lift up slightly and release six black cords, three for each plate. Each cord is is half an inch thick and can extend up to thirty feet, and are tipped with hard white points. These are capable of piercing through the ground, stone, flesh, and even metal. They are mainly used to restrain opponents.
Point Cero: A type of Cero blast that can only be used during Ressureccion. This Cero is heavily concentrated to the point where it is only one inch wide. It is capable of piercing through virtually anything, and is arguably more powerful than a regular Cero because of it's concentration. Zero can fire this Cero from his fingers, or from any of his lances. It uses slightly more energy than a regular Cero, and takes a moment to charge up, however he can charge multiple Point Cero's at once. They appear as black beams, with barely visible dark red outlines.
Oscuro Corte: These are swords made from pure spiritual energy, and are solid black. They are fifty inches in length, and four inches in width. They can be summoned from any lance, so that each lance can be used as a sword. The heavily concentrated energy of these blades makes them near solid and can be treated as physical mass. They are durable and strong, and can be made sharper than normal swords.
Verdugo: A combination of Levitacion and Oscuro Corte. After summoning the blades, Zero can combine one or more of them, end to end at the base to form a new weapon. Then, using Levitacion, he causes the new weapon to spin rapidly, turning it into a powerful spinning blade. He can then send this spinning blade at the desired target, and can control it's movements. He can combine anywhere from two to all six of his lances, and Verdugo will grow in size and power with each one added, with the sacrifice of speed due to added weight.
Escudo: Using the same technique as Verdugo, but instead of the blades pointing outwards, he points them inwards, having them touch tips, slightly overlapping. By spinning this he can create a powerful defensive shield. The rotation from this sheild causes energy from received attacks to spin outwards, spreading out and reducing the power of the attack. In that fashion, Zero can block attacks far better than he could with either sword or armor.

Infinito Tormenta: A technique, or rather a form, that Zero has been working on for the last fifty years, since he discovered Aizen's death. This ability involves an extreme risk, where Zero releases all of his potential power. In this form, the torso and shoulder armor of his ressureccion completely shatters, along with his helm. The sphere and his lances completely disappear and are replaced by a long pole. All of his abilities, along with his strength and speed, become far powerful. Point Cero widens to three inches and can become more destructive than even Gran Rey Cero, at the cost of only being fired one at a time, and his Oscuro Corte can only be created from the ends of his staff, and loses the shape of a sword almost entirely, replaced by tall cone that flares almost like a black flame. The staff can be split into many small disks, or into larger sections. When separated, each of the small disks is capable of firing a normal Point Cero. Zero abandons all defense in this form, even Hierro, and is very vulnerable. This form is so powerful as to sheer the very fabric of the worlds around it involuntarily, opening and closing small Garganta at random. But because this releases all of Zero's power, he can only maintain it for a maximum of five minutes, and when it ends, Zero will no longer be able to fight, and must restore his power, if he has not ripped himself apart.
Personal Abilities:
Garganta: Basic hollow ability, Zero is able to open, travel through, and close rips in the dimensional barriers. This is his only means of traveling between worlds.
Hierro: Steel skin. Zero's skin is very durable and strong, and can deflect sword strikes of even those belonging to the captain class. However, with enough skill and power, this can be easily circumvented.
Sonido: A high speed maneuver. Zero can use this ability with expert proficiency, and can travel great distances in a short amount of time before having to drop out of Sonido. His Sonido is quite fast, even at short ranges, surpassing that of most others.
Cero: A concentrated blast of pure energy. Zero is highly proficient with this ability, and is capable of firing more than one at a time. His Cero appears in a darker red colour. It is more concentrated than a normal users', and thus smaller, but more powerful.
Aguja Cero: A small cero blast that is one hundredth of the power of Zero's normal Cero blast. It appears as a small beam, not five centemeters thick. Zero can use this Cero's in rapid succession, and can maintain a single beam by firing consecutively at the same spot. By releasing a larger amount of energy, he can fire these beams in an omnidirectional attack that hits everything around him.
Gran Rey Cero: The single most powerful cero blast that a hollow could possibly muster, that can only be used by those at or above the level of Espada. Though Zero was never in the Espada, he was able to discover this Cero blast on his own. It works by creating a small opening in the skin, a cut in ones finger, or hand. Through this opening, reiatsu hidden deep within that hollow are allowed to flow out, and be released in a catastrophically powerful cero blast.
Hollow regeneration: Like many hollows, Zero is capable of regenerating his body, but to a limited degree. He can heal most cuts and wounds within hours of incuring them, but cannot regenerate lost limbs.
Advanced hollow senses: Including his ability to sense reiatsu, pesquisa, all of Zero's senses are hightened well above normal levels. These senses allow him to perceive things others cannot, and can analize things down to the tiniest detail. This also allows him uncanny accuracy while performing his techniques. He can sense reiatsu with his pesquia across great distances, and is capable of focusing it on a single person, or group of individuals that are close together, for more accuracy.
Character Bio: Zero's story began just as any other hollow. When he died, his soul was left behind in the human world, and without the aide of a shinigami, he could not pass on to Soul Society. Inevitably, he became a hollow, and was born into chaos. As his first act as a hollow, he was thrown into a frenzy, and consumed the souls of a group of bandits encamped nearby. A hollow who witnessed the event met him afterwards, when he finally regained his senses. It named him Zero, in light of the number of survivors in the bandit camp. He didn't argue, as he could no longer remember his own name, or anything that happened before he became a hollow.
Zero consumed few other human souls after that, and he developed a taste for other hollows quite early in his existence as a hollow. He was rather different from other hollows. He seemed reluctant to battle, consume, or do anything violent at all. Only when in battle did the vast negative emotions typical of a hollow take control of him. Some called him the hollow with a heart. Over the next few centuries, Zero continued to consume, and grew stronger and stronger. He was able to maintain consciousness after becoming a gillian class menos, and continued to evolve through ajuchas class as well. In time, he was able to become a Vasto Lorde as well, one of the few most powerful types of hollows in existence.
Only decades after, Zero caught news on the winds of the empty desert. A shinigami that carried some incredible power had taken over the Espada, and Las Noches itself. It was told that he had even called more than one Vasto Lorde to him. This both intrigued and concerned Zero. He did not believe that shinigami belonged in Hueco Mundo, and it was difficult to believe that any shinigami would be powerful enough to control even one Vasto Lorde, let alone more. He decided to travel there, but not before achieving the same level of power as his new Espada. Zero tried, and eventually learned how to break his hollow mask, thus becoming an arrancar.
However, once Zero had journeyed to Las Noches, he only discovered that the entire structure was abandoned, and even partially in ruins. Whatever plot that shinigami had, failed, and his Espada had crumbled. Zero had arrived too late to do anything of value. He did not know whether to be relieved, or saddened that they were all gone. The shinigami was dead and gone, but so were all the hollows that served him. It was a true pity that the few Vasto Lordes under the shinigami's control, would have their rare and wonderous power wasted on his ambition. Or so he thought. But there was nothing to be done.
Zero went back into obscurity and for fifty years he was content to stay there, not knowing of the recent changes in structure in Soul Society. He continued to slowly achieve new levels of power, stimulated by the chaos of Hueco Mundo. He only realized something was up when he noticed Shinigami patrols entering Hueco Mundo on a whim. These shinigami were too bold... Many of them were not but impetuous children in his eyes, getting in over their heads. One patrol was bold enough to go after him. He taught them a severe lesson in humility, killing all but the youngest member of the group, and sending him back into Soul Society with a message. But the patrols didn't stop, and it was clear he had to do more. He was going to go to Soul Society himself.
Pic/Description:Zero measures in at six foot three inches. He is of average build while being somewhat muscular. He has long greasy black hair that reaches his shoulders, along with hazel eyes and a rather handsome face. On his head lay four long, white triangular pieces of his old hollow mask. They are six millimeters thick, seventeen centimeters long. His hollow hole is located just to the right of his sternum, on his upper torso.
Zero's wears a large black coat with a gold trim. It has a high collar, and he leaves it open in the front. He also wears a white Uwagi shirt beneath the coat, along with a black obi, and loose, but fitting, black pants. Zero no longer wears any footwear, considering them unnecessary, due to his strong Hierro, and the environment he's accustomed to.

I do have a few points of criticism here.

1) The levitation ability is fine for after he uses ressurecion, but not before. An arrancar's personal abilities only manifest after the fact.

2) His Point Cero, because it's so concentrated, I would think would use a lot more energy than a regular cero, so firing them in rapid succession like Bala blasts just won't work. If you like, you can make it so he can charge the energy independantly in each of his hands and weapons and fire them at separate times, but then it will take a recharge period before he can perform it again in that particular limb/weapon.

3) You should probably reduce the amount of lances he has, six just sounds like too many. Maybe three or four would be a good number.

4) Verdugo I'm mostly fine with, but while the weapon increases in size and power with each one added, it should probably reduce exponentially in speed.

5) As for Infinito Tormenta, as long as it's not a one-hit wonder and you actually recognize him as vulnerable to attack, I'm okay with it, but we might want a second opinion on that one.

6) Just keep his normal Cero normal and save the concentrated blast for his Point Cero.

7) I don't care how powerful he is, he can fire one Gran Rey Cero at a time.
