Located on the grounds belonging to the Second Division, this facility's entrance rests on the edge of a cliff with only a single rope bridge leading up to it. The Nest itself is composed entirely of seki seki stone, which surpresses the use of Reiatsu. Only a select few know of this place and what it's used for. Deep inside rest some of the foulest criminals Soul Society has ever known, as well as some that Soul Society found inconvenient to keep around but were too dangerous to just let roam free. The prison itself consists of two areas. First is a long common area where the less dangerous criminals and detainees comingle, but deeper in there is a special solitary confinement facility that has individual cells for only the most dangerous inmates.

Laying his head on the wall Kihei takes a deep breath, total darkness surrounds him..but he was used to it, after the first couple of hours his eyes became attuned to the shapes and objects, he could completely configure his surroundings, 3 walls behind him and at his sides, and a clad iron gate to the front of him holding him imprisoned in these dull settings. Kihei looks to the wall on his right side, Aelde is being held there, but everything is quiet, as if the darkness might swallow up the words that might be uttered under the lips of the other prisoners.

Aeldevera stared at the wall to the front of him, sitting on the ground. He recalled a time, when he walked freely. He was a man of his own kind. He was a shinigami. What is he now? A criminal. Filth. No different then a murderer, rapist, or even a psychotic mastermind. A thought crossed his mind. Why let this break him? What point would that serve, to just surrender to this fake surreal world. He lost track of time, he had no idea of where he was or when he was. He promised himself, that he would not forget who he was, or his zanpakuto. He recalled his life. He was once a proud shinigami, who could smile... but now. He decided that becoming inhuman, and animal-like would become a waste of idealism. "Tell me... where would you be right now if you weren't in this Hell-hole?" He asked aloud, he hoped his neighbor would hear him.

Kihei bewildered at the sudden break in the dark silence pondered the question.."Anywhere but here...."He responded. Kihei closed his eyes, he thought it funny to himself that eyes closed the room looked the same as with eyes open. He took a deep sigh, he had no idea how long he had been here time was lost in here, the darkness swallowing that up also. But Kihei wasn't worried about time. He had never seen his life ending up in a place such as this, made up of total darkness.

"Kihei... why'd you follow me into here? You could be a lieutenant, working your way to captain level out there. You could be recognized as a hero... And you wouldn't be in this cell rotting away. It's so dark. It's almost an exact mirror of how I feel inside. I'm losing it Kihei. This grip on sanity..." Aeldevera retorted more silently. He laid back against the wall of the cell. It was rough and cool to the touch, and to Aeldevera it was far from pleasant. He once had his own room. How he reconciled with himself the different colors of his room, attempting to imagine a table and chairs. He then focused on his bed, closing his eyes, but unable to sleep. "It's dark. Just black all over..."

"I've always looked up to you....the training....all of it, without friends there is nothing..... just hold on Aelde, it wont be long till the darkness itself swallows us up, along with everything else in here..."Kihei stared at the opposite wall, trying to picture what the outside world looked like before he arrived here...nothing showed up, only darkness. Kihei was slowly drifting away, his body had already given up, not moving from the position he was in now, for what might have been days or months. Now all that was left was his mind.

"Remember what I always told you... Kihei you need to think about the situation you're in." He smiled for a moment, the times they spent together were so many years. "This might be dark, but there's one thing I've kept in mind... If we let ourselves become swallowed up, then what did we live for? What purpose did we serve, if only to be slaves to this torment? How many years has it been... I wonder how Seiretei has fared. I remember the beautiful sky, how it was clear, and how the Sun glistening so proudly... I had something to be annoyed about every day. How I hated that Sun shine... But now... If only I could get a glimpse again..." He then opened his eyes widely. "What are we doing? Did we forget our principles? We're giving in, on a fall precipice. We have a chance, we just need to think positively. I'm not going to die. Not in this damned cell." His voice became stretched, and slightly angered in its tone. He then did something bold. He hadn't stood up for years. Rising, he stretched his body, popping in different areas, and feeling blood flow. "My name is Aeldevera Mistalune. I am a shinigami. I am not a monster, and I never was." He told himself aloud. He moved forward to the gate of his cell, placing his hands on the bars, seemingly unaffected by time due to the kidou which held them in place. "They took my zanpakuto. They took my rank. They took my friends. They took my family... but they will never take away my spirit."

Aelde had always been a friend ,one of the people who truly cared about Kihei. Hearing Aelde fighting the darkness that seemed to overpower everything gave Kihei hope. "Kousenkiyo, was taken away from me...a part of me, torn, ripped from my soul as if it was never existed.."His voice cracked, the moment his zanpakuto had been taken away from him Kihei had felt a part of him slowly die, a feeling he had never felt before, that overcame his mind and body, causing him to be silent for days.Kihei stood up, stretching, his body felt sore from sitting for so long, slowly pacing the room , he felt the blood begin to flow through his body again."All we can do now is not let our spirits give in to the darkness, its what they want...to break us down, to make us hollow, with nothing to live for.."Kiheis voice possessing a slight tone of anger at the injustice of the Soul Sociey. He leaned against the wall once again, this time standing, with arms crossed.

"You know... This actually isn't too bad. We could of been in solitary confinement. Those are the people who become lunatics. I mean... just imagine if one of those people got out. Even we'd be endangered." He tried to make a joke. He laughed a bit, hoping to invite this slight joy to Kihei as well. "Her name is Fulgora, the Goddess of Lightning. How I miss her... she was the only girl who really understood me. Sad, I know... to think that in all my years of living I couldn't find a woman of real caliber. Maybe I'll elope with the darkness here, in this cell. She's quite the spacious woman, very independent, and she doesn't talk back. Sure, she might echo every once in a while, but hey, she works, right? But, then again I'm talking about walls... my home was so much better then this. Couldn't Soul Society at least give us a window or something... I mean really..." He then laughed even more, memories of his original form returning to him. Aeldevera wasn't a broken man, not even after a thousand years in a cell that was unchanging.

Deep in the darkness another voice chimed in, "Ugh... will you two shut up already? You realize that you've had this conversation about three hundred times already, right?" The two speaking would know this voice. He chimed in every now and then when he was getting annoyed or when he had something profound to say. Otherwise all they would hear from his cell were the various exercises he did constantly. It was the voice of the prisoner known as Kango. His full name was Kangohei Iesu, and he'd been here for longer than he'd like to be. He passed the time by running around in circles, doing pull ups on the door of the cell, and at the moment he was doing push-ups. Of course, everything he did he did effortlessly. He was very fit considering he'd been spending so much time in this forsaken cell, and his body would show that fact were there any light around them. He hadn't always been in this cell. He was once kept outside with the rest of the inmates, but he'd attacked one too many guards and eventually they put him here with Chickadee and Chickadope, the two tweeting birds in their own respective cages. The joke was on him, though, because now he was one of them, Chickadipshit. All this optemism was killing him, as was the talk about darkness swallowing them all up. It was just annoying. Kango was sure that, if the circumstances were different, he'd probably think these two guys were all right, but the fact of the matter was that when all you have to listen to are a couple of guys repeating the same thing day in and day out it just gets annoying after a while. Kango stopped his push-ups, and rolled over onto his back. He waited for a moment, then began sit-ups. He needed to keep active, he'd go crazy if he didn't.

Kihei laughed slightly at Aeldes attempts to make a joke. Kango was right though, this conversation was basically replayed every day, in the same pattern, varying at some points. But what else was there to talk about, when all that was around WAS darkness, never changing, never moving. Kihei tried to place himself in a peaceful state of mind, remembering when there was more to do then just sit around and think of the past, back then in the Soul Society there was always something new to look forward to, a new day some would call it. Here there was nothing, just emptiness."What would you rather have us do Kango?"Kihei replied in a somber tone.

"Kango, after 600 or so years with you, I've never spoken out against you. But, look... I'm tired of your negativity. You can die in here, I don't care. I don't really even know you, other then you're an ornery, arrogant child incapable of reasoning in any way, shape, or form. You would think, that maybe just maybe, we ought to keep ourselves sane. Tell me Kango, what would you be doing, if you weren't here? If you were a free man... I'm sure it would be something more productive then constantly cracking on other people who are on the brink of insanity." Aeldevera sighed, staring out across and to the left, seeing only the outside of Kango's cell. "I wonder if your skill in fighting is as good as you run your mouth." Aeldevera slammed his fist into the side wall, making a rather abrupt noise. How he longed to actually do something again. To breath fresh air. "Maybe I'll get lucky, and they'll transfer me away from your pessimistic a**. Kango... what was your last name... something feminine right... Iesu... Iesugay?"

"I don't know... pass the time by doing something quiet, or at least have original conversations. Ha! Original... Nevermind. I fear we've strained every topic dry." Kango replied to Kihei, his voice rushing out slightly faster than normal with each sit-up. He simply shined on Aeldevera's snap at him. It was horribly unoriginal, but then again Kango had just ruled out the possibility of originality in this place so it really didn't surprise him. "That depends..." He began in an attempt to honestly answer Aelde's question. "If it's in time of war I'd probably be off healing someone. If it's in time of peace I'd probably be picking fights with the Eleventh Squad. Now honestly, what about you?"

Kihei sighed deeply, nothing to even talk about. His body slid down the wall and reformed into the position he had been in earlier, his head leaning against the wall once more. His ears slightly turned up as he listened to the conversation going on between Kango and Aelde.

(( Now what happens next, I have no idea. Are we able to cast them Shidobu? Though they take your zanpakuto, it's not like they can take away your powers too. The cells could be barriers that probably absorb and mitigate spells like that though...))
"I would of probably been accepted into 14th squad. And then from there, I'd wait until they gave me the right to captain a squad. After several hundred years, I'd settle down with some woman from Rokongai, maybe make some shinigami babies, and then live for another fifteen thousand years happily." He explained, his thoughts rather unusual but, then again direct. Aeldevera smirked. "You know what I haven't done yet... I never tried to see if way of destruction or binding spells works in here... If they do... then I could of been training it all this time. Hmm... I'm tempted." He then figured he'd try it just because. "Way of destruction: No. 4 Byakurai!" He attempted to unleash the byakurai hadou spell, aiming at the ceiling for effect.
