Note- This topic is based on the belief of reincarnation. If you do not personally believe in reincarnation, then this topic has nothing to do with you.
There are many popular beliefs throughout religious history. Most religions involving past lives also involve the reasoning as to why you live multiple lives. My particular favorite, and my belief as well, is that through each life you are to seek wisdom and eventually reach spiritual enlightenment. You cannot reach this in one simple life, so over time you live many lives on your way to enlightenment.
So this brings up the question, how far along do you consider yourself in your life span?
Judge this by how well informed you are, your personality, how wise you are, how natural you are with education, as well as how calm you are in certain situations and your perspective of life.
I personally believe that I am very far along in my lives, however I think I am no where near spiritual fulfillment. Although there is still much I can accomplish in this lifetime, I do not personally think (based on how I naturally react to things) that this life is anywhere close to the end.

In all seriousness though, I would say that I have no idea how far along my soul might be, and I don't know if it will ever be possible for me to know. Lately I have been wondering how much of us carries over from life to life. How many of our memories, experiences, how much of our... us-ness (for lack of a better word).... I dunno, I guess I just like to waste my time thinking about things I may never know....
