Commonly abbreviated as the GD. This forum is for light discussion on any topic. Although the current GD has become a...well, it's a dump. I went to the GD after spending some time in the ED and becoming rather annoyed with how stuck up they were (No offense to any EDers)

The GD has always seemed like an "after school chatbox" type of thing. Mostly high school students with sarcastic, jaded attitudes.
It's fun for lurking when I'm in the right mood.

It's fun for lurking when I'm in the right mood. It does seem that way. I usually go in there to start serious discussions and report all the spam.

To be honest, I find modern Gaian Extended Discussion to be an absolute joke. Back when I was a very heavy forum regular of Extended Discussion (in the days of Voltron and the ED: Enforcers), the discussions that went on there were extremely... high-tech, if you want to call it that. It seems over time, the ED evolved in to a GD, and the GD evolved (maybe I should be saying DE-evolved), in to a cesspool.
It's a scary place to be if you haven't got a thick skin. One thing is for sure - Reporting the misplaced porn/gore/troll/etc threads and posting in the good ones helps at least a minuscule amount. I don't find the forum particularly fun at all, myself. I find it to be a ridiculous joke.
It's full of kids who really just have way too many issues with themselves and the world, who need to wake up and smell the coffee. My hope is eventually they'll grow out of it. Of course, a new flock of degenerates will clamour in.

If you have any kind of belief other than "I don't believe in anything and neither should anyone else", all Extended Discussion can offer you is a spiritual experience akin to walking into an Aliens hive honking a clown horn.
