You heard it, Regs. What ticks your buttons? What makes you flip? Is there anything so annoying you just can't help but to grit your teeth and mumble selective words under your breath? So what is it that makes you tick?
Now remember, we wont use these against one another. That, my friends, would be cruel and inhumane. ;D
Notes: Please keep things friendly. This is not a thread to namedrop anyone, or b***h about anyone specifically. Stay general. This thread will only stay around for as long as it isn't an issue. Try not to mess with the dynamics of the guild (we're friendly here!)
---
I'll start out! What really makes me tick is when somebody complains... and complains... and complains. Complaining is okay, but not about every single minuscule detail. If you can't find anything to be happy about, then maybe it's time to go see a therapist. Stop taking things for granted. Not to mention, nobody wants to sit there and hear you b***h, moan, and complain over everything... especially trivial matters.
Man that really boils my blood. What about you guys?

OMG. CAN I BEE UR FREND?! U HAEV GREEN NAEM!!11oneone eek
Random friend requests in general sort of tick my buttons. It's typically from username like " XX_Naruto_X_Sasuke_XX_LUV_1234567". I find myself mashing the "Deny" button with a vengeance.
That, and when people send me pms asking me if I'd like to donate to them an item I'm wearing, "Because they're questing for it."
Sure, SURE. I'll just unequip my angelic sash and GIVE it to you because you're questing for it. It's not like I was using it or anything... it was just on my avatar, advertising it to be donated for the lulz.

People bitching for "something to be done about [insert supposed problem in subforum]" and attempting to insist their own rule breaking is perfectly acceptable because they're regulars.
Also, people who viciously judge others based on their hobbies, typing style, etc; I can tolerate it in small, non-malicious doses, because we all have opinions, but I can't ******** stand needlessly mean people. I used to be one. EVERYONE is on the internet, it's no longer a private playground for elitist nerds, so you're going to have Twilight lovers who don't waste ten hours perfecting their posts, or kids who swap out g's for q's, or people who became fans of Star Trek just because there was a reboot movie.

~The aforementioned random friend requests.
~Users who expect me to solve their problems step-by-step with them (using the PM system) after I have already explained that as a Forum Assistant, I can't help with their issues and have directed them to a forum or person who can. stressed
~Worst of all: Random friend request after the above situation. Ugh, no. sweatdrop

OMG this! People, don't you DARE b***h about a forum's issues when you're part of the problem. Ditto people complaining about reports, when I look they've filed ONE. -- "cool avi" achievement. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I get that comment ALL THE TIME now and I know it's fake, it's for the achievement. Somehow I'm a target for it.

Most of the GD. I kid you not. They seem to take pride in breaking the rules. And they tend to joke about it. I think in general the sheer lack of intelligence from some users is rather annoying and random friend requests are as well.

Pretty much all of GD and most of CB. Beggars. I worked my pixelated butt off for my items. If I want to give them away, i'm not going to give them to someone who asks me for it. Those who pretty much do the annoying breaking the rules just to break rules.

There's a cross once hung 'round a soldier's neck."WE NEED DOLPHINMANIA BACK HOW AM I GOING TO GET GOLD NOW?"
Not too long ago, SF was full of threads just like that. burning_eyes
Also, random friend requests, especially from people I have never spoken to...ever. It drives me absolutely nuts. There's a man's faith died on Serenity's floor.

Lack of respect towards anyone in life, no matter who they are. Even if you don't like somebody, or like their status in life... everyone is entitled to and deserves to be respected. This stems from what I witnessed today.
A homeless man wandered in to my place of work today. He very politely strolled up to security desk and calmly asked, "Would it be okay if I filled this cup with some water from your drinking fountain?"
The security guard looked at him and replied, "You need to leave. You're disrupting everyone."
I found the security guard's response not only rude, but highly embarrassing to his position. I was so offended by the security guard that I personally apologized to homeless man and directed him (much to the chagrin of the security officer) to the public bathrooms and to the drinking fountains so he could get a cup of water.
The man, while he did look scroungy and smelled of old socks and low-tide, was very polite and respectful to the security guard in asking for water. I feel the security guard judged the man on his appearance, rather than his actions. To me, it was a distinct lack of respect towards the homeless man.

When people act like something is killing children because it debuted in the Cash Shop, hands down.
That and when people use the Ignore feature to get rid of dissenting opinions in SF.

A 12 gauge would solve that problem. @Rasabon: Agreed. Everyone should be given the opportunity to voice their opinion if it is in dissent.

> Random friend requests with a message just saying 'ure kool' or 'thanx 4 postin in my thread' ¬¬ I'm not gonna add you because I posted a reply in your thread asking for more wings.
> People posting threads complaining that it's too hard to make gold and the item prices are too high and that gaia should bring them down. I slap said people with a wet fish. Also, the same as Diamond Rika, the whole 'OMG DOLPHINMANIA BRING IT BAC GAIA OMG URE SO OUTTA ORDER WTF AM I GUNNA DO NOW I CNT GET GOLDS?!?!'
> People who judge others because of their likes/dislikes. For example, I love Transformers. So that doesn't mean you can put me down because I love a 'kids show' ¬¬ You like Twilight, should I go on about how you love vampires that have been dunked in glitter?
> I mentioned it before, but people who quote like 1 line of my text and answer it seperatly. The only time I let this happen is when I ask a question, but if I write something like.
'We don't need anymore gothic items. I think we have enough of them, personally I think we should have more mecha items seeing as we seem to lack a little with them. But there are many more other items that can be made too, such as western items or candy items'
I don't expect you to quote just 'I think we should have more mecha items' and start ranting about the fact we have 2 robot related EIs ¬¬
> Beggers! >< I hate them, all types of them! From the ones that send you pms like Quote: 'OMG U R SELLING FALLEN WISH I AM QUESTING 4 THAT PLZ CN U DON8 IT 2 ME PLZ I AM BEGGING U I WUD DON8 IT 2 U IF IT WOZ DA OTHA WAY ROUND PLZ PLZ PLZ!!!!!' To the ones that think if they're polite you'll give them it, for example Quote: 'Hi I'm sorry to bother you, but I noticed you have The Nightmare on your avi, which looks really awesome by the way. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to donate that item to me, I have been questing it for ages now and I still can't afford it. Please consider this, I would be very greatful.' > People who think they're above everyone because they've bought X amount of stuff from the cash shop. So they think because they've given like $50 to gaia they can get away with murder. Not gonna happen douchebags -.-
> Gaians who don't read =.= They see 'Feedback' and think they can post their avi and get feedback on it. Plus they see 'Site Feedback' and think this means feedback on other sites, not gaia.
> My brother.
> Boys who think girls are sex tools and girls who think every boy loves them and that Facebook is their life. Plus people who walk with their friends and take up the entire width of a hallway or pavement so you have to push through or walk in the road to get past -_- /rant
^^; There are many more... -points to gaia journel-
