
The Zharin are a very nasty breed, one of the darkest to be found on Jurgen. Though they are wolf like and semi-gentle at first glance, they are nothing of the sort. Zharin are covered in an array of long, angled sharp quills that cover the topes of their head down their neck, backs, and even back of their arms. Their tail is thick with these sharpened spines, so thick that it is hard and deadly sharp. They can whip their tails with extreme speed and velocity, slicing whatever they will into tiny shards in a quick and agile fluid movement. Sometimes their tail spikes are different colors than the other spikes on their bodies, though this is rare. You see these spines are serated on all sides, and their not the normal knife sharp either, the spines are so finely cut that touching one would leave your finger bloody. On top of this each small finite point of these miniature knives is a poison so potent it can fell even the strongest of creatures. The Zharin feed upon humans, preying on their life source, or at least they did until the dragons got a hold of them. The dragons, being so powerful, wer always meddling in the business of others, so they created a kinship between the two races that until prior did not exist for fear of extinction of the deadly Zharin. The dragons created a bondage between human and Zharin. They do not feel each others pain as normal bonds do, but if one were to die, the other would perish to. Having no knowledge of which prey would be their death the Zharin turned, at first on one another, then on the heedless dragons. Only the Zharin with the sharpest tails and most potent poison survived, for their prey became dragons. Their tails could slice through even the toughest hide, and if the dragon was far to large and quick for them to kill all they had to do was give a sharp jab with one of their spines to leave their prey defenseless and as good as dead within a few minutes. If that wasn't enough to alarm the dragons, the Zharin can release their quills from a great distance, aiming them in a sense towards their prey. Most Zharin are loners, though there have been known to be packs. Normally these packs are formed of the same element, with the same magical properties, but mix blood is becoming more common as the new age wears through. There remains an occasional Zharin that preys upon the unsuspecting human, it is their preferred diet, though the risk of death is enough to drive most Zharin away. Oddly enough they are omnivorous and have been known to feed on delectable foliage that they can scrounge into. This is made possible my this grinding molars in their maw.

~Solar Pack~
Story: The Solar dragons live for the day. They tend to like warm places or even cold places where they can get high up. They love to be on top of things and tend to be aggressive and open. They spend their nights asleep and their days foraging and getting into mischief, if it suits their character.
Area: High places, bright areas

Abilities:
[O]Sun Rays: This requires a great gathering of energy on the Zharin's part. Once done it is worth it for it can shoot forth a projected beam of extremely intense light and power, matching the force of the shun.
[H]Wasteland: A seeming illusion that makes the object being affected feel downtrodden, hot thirsty, tired. Definitely lowers the moral of the victim and leaves them feeling small and insignificant .
[D]Halo:A small shimmering shield of dancing creme light surrounds the figure of the Zharin, protecting it from a variety of attacks.
~Lunar Pack~
Story: Lunar Zharin feed off the shadows of the night. They find it better suit to conceal themselves, whether it be from a devious trick or a hidden past. Often times they are much more subtle and calmer, moving about as if they were not there. Typically they tend to band together more than the Solar, hiding in caves during the day to escape from the sweltering and overpowering heat of the suns rays. They tend to keep their heads high while looking as though they were on the bottom.

Abilities:
[O]Moon Rays: This requires a great gathering of energy on the Zharin's part. Once done it is worth it for it can shoot forth a projected beam of subtle, glowing light and power, that sends an opponent into a daze while inflicting pain. It doesn't brutally out front hurt a victim, but tends to seep away slowly, barely noticeable while the victim is in delirium.
[H]Darkness: Makes an opponent feel lost and dazed, as though in another world. They do not know quite what actions they take and can�t hold a thought for very long. It makes them make rash decisions and often leaves their reflexes slow..
[D]Wandering Stars:Twice as strong as the Solar shield, though only at night, and half as strong during the day, this Lunar shield is very specific. It is very milky in color, almost as if the user is surrounded in just that, milk. Spells and attacks that hit it seem to liquidate and become the shield. Though easily broken during the day, it marvels a dragon's shield during the night.
