So I'd like to build a competitive Poison-themed team. This is my first time doing more than just playing through the storyline in a Pokemon game, so bear with me please!
I'm looking for suggestions and advice!
Gengar
Weezing
Venusaur
Skuntank
Nidoking
Toxicroak
Advice on possible movesets? My concept is mostly around using Toxic as much as possible, then defending with defensive moves and self-healing as my opponent rots away.

I wouldn't try stalling the ENTIRE match away. Someone's bound to counter it.
I'm not one to use Poison types, but I do know that if you find a Poison type with Poison Spikes, it's awesome. If you use Poison Spikes twice, you instantly Badly Poison any entering Pokemon, unless they suppress the spikes.
Cormini will most likely find this thread and help you out. In fact, why don't I summon him for you?
