Spiritual center of the Earth and home to Ichigo Kurosaki and the infamous ryoka band. More hollows and enemies to Soul Society are seen here than any other location on Earth. Shinigami platoons often make rounds throughout the city in order to keep the tentative peace that has been secured by the efforts of the ryoka band, and enemies found during these rounds are immediately purified.
Inside the city, several contacts have been established to report back to Soul Society, and to be monitored for further research and study by the R&D Division.
