This is just the start of some ideas Maltese_Falcon91 and myself have been talking about. We don't have much yet, but as we get more I'll be reediting this post with info.
Here's the map: click here As for the story gos the thought was that this is a place with, instead of mythological creatures, we use prehistoric ones, and a group of invaders could have landed on the Southern Peninsula, taken a few cities, and are making their way up into the heartlands of the North. It's sort of like when the Mongols tried to invade Japan, only this time there aren't any storms to shipwreck them, so the invasion is going to last a long time.
The continent is called Agriosna, and it isn't politically unified. There's a lot of city states and warring factions.
That was just about all we've gotten at the moment, but if you've got any ideas you would like to share with us please feel free, we would love to hear others ideas.

I don't think we should just restrict ourself to dinosaurs, there's plenty of prehistoric creatures that would be really neat too. Things like the Sabre Tooth tiger, and that giant shark that was also an alligator.

This actually sounds pretty interesting - I wouldn't mind trying it out. I do agree with Maltese_Falcon91 as far as other prehistoric creatures go, the whole topic opens up all kinds of opportunities when not limited to just dinosaurs. The idea would make a great action/adventure roleplay if you set up the circumstances a bit more. What were you thinking as far as how they get there? Is it going to be a time travel sort of thing, or more of a Jurassic Park roleplay? Either would be pretty cool, I was just wondering.

Okay, so anything extinct? Or should we just keep it to certain extinct things?

Felien of Hyver What were you thinking as far as how they get there? Is it going to be a time travel sort of thing, or more of a Jurassic Park roleplay? We haven't really gotten that far, but that wasn't quite what I was thinking. I was thinking more of a 'what if' kind of thing, but not present day. That's just me though. I don't know what Maltese_Falcon91 had in mind.

Seeing as I'm such a cartography junkie, I made up a map. Scale wise it's roughly the size of New Zealand. You can find it, right here.Purty, no? Anyway, as for the story, I was thinking that a group of invaders could have landed on the Southern Peninsula, taken a few cities, and are making their way up into the heartlands of the North. I'm not too interested in the RP itself, but I wanted to stop in to say you make awesome maps. I hope the Dinosaur RP takes off - good luck!

Kybia I'm not too interested in the RP itself, but I wanted to stop in to say you make awesome maps. Thanks, I used to spend a lot of time lurking the Cartographer's Guild forums. I might be good by Gaian standards, but compared to some of the stuff those guys are doing, I'm a complete novice.

Just a small mapping update. I've added in borders for 10 factions on Agrisona, and icons for just under fifty settlements. You can check it out here.
